Why the Owner Chose Woodmoor:
We bought this house for several reasons. It is well-laid out and very spacious. We wanted to entertain without everyone being on top of each other. It is especially perfect for multiple families or different age groups because it offers different areas to gather. We also loved the 18' windows overlooking the ski resort. Whether you are relaxing in the living room, eating in the dining room or cooking a meal - it takes your breath away! We also like the proximity to the town and hill but the quiet, wooded setting. Some areas of town have a lot of traffic and noise but not this area. We are very secluded. Everyone takes walks/hikes here. (We have snowshoes and sleds for our guests to use.) You can sit out on the porch and hear NOTHING! But the free town shuttle is at the end of the block and you have easy access. We also liked all of the house's amentities. It is very high-end. It makes living a very active lifestyle easy (lots of storage and mudroom space) and yet you can come home and be pampered (hot tub, steam shower, whirlpool, gourmet kitchen, fireplaces, radiant heat, etc.). That is the good life!
The Unique Benefits at this House:
This home was professionally decorated with granite, slate, alder, hickory, leather, etc. It offers all the amenities for a truly luxurious vacation - right down to the plush, white hot tub towels or the terry cloth bathrobes in each closet. While it is only 5-mins to the ski hill or downtown, it is also on a quiet, wooded street with spectactular views and peaceful walking trails. The best of both worlds!
