We had a last minute chance to get away for the first time ever with our 6 and 10 year old, plus we had a dog we just couldn't leave behind. The owner was SO accommodating fitting us in and it was a great memory for all of us. Don't let maps of the area fool you, everything is within 20 minutes and with the great scenery and activities...a 20 minute drive was a pleasure. My wife and I both agree this was a perfect central location to come back to and it felt just like home. Very clean, comfortable and spacious. We will be back!Did you find this review helpful? Our group of 7 loved staying at the cabin in Dec of 2012. It was a group of 7 guys in their mid-twenties who rented this out for a snowboarding trip. Both cranmore and attitash are less than a 15 minute ride from the cabin. The cabin fit all of us comfortably. Not much nightlife around the area but we were more interested in snowboarding so we didn't mind. Shopping outlets on RT16 are very nice so I would recommend stopping by there. Michele was very friendly and easy to communicate with. I would highly suggest renting this cabin out if you are looking to vacation in the Conway area.Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+.

What a lovely cabin in the woods! The setting seemed so secluded, yet we were on the edge of town; the best of both worlds! Thanks so much for the use of your lovely home for the week. Having such a nice place to retire to each evening made leaving the day’s activities that much easier. We were four adults and two children meeting up for a family reunion and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Between the restaurants, the outlet shopping, Storyland and best of all...the Kanc!!!...we couldn’t have asked for more.Owner response: Ann, I'm happy to hear that you found the house to be comfortable and that you enjoyed your stay. We'd love to have you and your family back any time. Thank you for choosing our home for your visit to the White Mountains! Best, Michele

Our team of four stayed here while competing at the Mt. Washington Valley Curling Club at the Ham Arena. Great location, although the GPS wants me to drive where the roads don't go. Follow the directions from the owner. Best feature -- individual thermostats for every room. Couldn't have asked for anything more.Recommended for: Sightseeing, adventure seekers, pet owners, romantic getaway, families with young children.

Loved our stay at this cabin! There were seven adults in our group and enough space to accommodate us all. The property looked just like the pictures and the place was very clean. Michele was very nice to deal with and I would recommend staying here to family and friends. Loved the privacy of the surrounding woods and the pond was a short drive around the corner that boasted a very clean beach and water. Plenty of places to eat in nearby North Conway and places to shop. Would definitely stay here again!Recommended for: Sightseeing, adventure seekers, age 55+, families with teenagers, pet owners, romantic getaway, families with young children, girls getaway.

What a cozy, warm, and inviting place. My wife and went up with my two brother in laws and their wives, so six of us all together. there was more than enough space and the place kept warm quite well. The fireplace was a great touch to the living room, and we were only about 20 minutes away from Black Mountain where we spent part of Saturday. Saturday evening we spend near a warm fire playing games and enjoying the great company. A splendid log cabin getaway that far exceeded our expectations - would highly recommend it at such a great price. Michele and Mike were excellent, prompt, and very well organized as well. Thanks to you both for letting us share your home!Recommended for: Sightseeing, age 55+, romantic getaway, families with young children.

The cabin was very clean, rustic, cozy, and nicely equipped . The swimming pond was beautiful (wonderful view of the mountains) and the dock made it especially fun. There were many tourist activities nearby and the cabin was close to many hiking trails. Since we have a family, we really appreciated having a washer and dryer and easy acess to a good grocery store. The owner was very pleasant and helpful. I would definetly recommend this property and hope to return soon.Recommended for: Sightseeing, adventure seekers, age 55+, families with teenagers, romantic getaway, families with young children.
