Excellent Condo, excellent location

This condo unit exceeded our expectations....the pictures don't do it justice. The bedroom was comfortable and quiet (although the birds sing quite loudly at 5am), the kitchen lacked for nothing, the living room/ dining room was very cozy (with a mamoth flat screen TV) and the bathroom was updated and just the right size. Open the linai sliding door on the ocean side and the kitchen and bedroom windows on the back side and we got the perfect breeze throughout the condo - who needed the air conditioning? We love to cook so one of the best parts about this unit was a superbly equipped kitchen, a sizeabale health food store right across the street, and street vendors selling local fruits & vegetables within walking distance. But if you're not into cooking then there's a decent selection of restaurants within walking distance although none of them would classify as "high end". The other "best part" was the beaches on either side of the building with a pool in-between and the immaculately kept lawn and grounds connecting them all. Snorkelling was great between the 2 beaches with lots of resident turtles to watch however during our stay neither beach provided decent surf for body surfing. And sunset on the lanai was as advertised...a perfect start to the evening when mixed with a gin and tonic.. We travelled all over Maui during our two week stay and decided this condo represented the best value anywhere. One word of caution. While we found the unit perfect for us as a couple we did have a friend stay for 2 days and found there was not much privacy (the bathroom door is open louvered) nor is there much room to move about once the hide a bed was opened in the LR. If you're all family this may not be an issue..

My husband & I stayed in suite 208 for 1 week in April and thoroughly enjoyed the accommodation. The listing was accurate and pictures reflected the appearance. The unit has been nicely updated and the property is well maintained. We loved being on the second floor as when you looked out the lanai your view of the water and sunsets were stunning. The birds were definitely early risers so took a bit getting used to - earplugs work wonders unless you like to walk the beaches @ 5:30 in the morning! The roof top patio is great for barbecuing and meeting people. As there is always a breeze the grassy area is good for getting some sun or sitting in the shade. Great beaches and can walk for hours. Makawao is definitely a great little village to visit and has an awesome Mexican restaurant and shopping. Also visited Ferraro's in the Four Seasons for romantic dinner and sunset. Would definitely recommend this unit and property.

This condo is FANTASTIC! The photos do not do it justice. Unbelievably well equipped with top of the line everything including luxury furnishings. And, the most amazing ocean views! It is positioned between two lovely sandy beaches so the toughest decisions we had to make was which beach to take our furnished beach chairs to for the day, and whether to stay in and grill on the rooftop garden or walk to one of the many great restaurants that are so close by. Sunsets are an event here for sure - we'd walk down before the people started to gather to watch the beautiful sunsets and see the sea turtles that come in to feed on the coral every single night right out front. Choose this as a place to stay and you will not be disappointed!
