Duneside - You cannot live any closer to the beach on Kiawah Island! This 4.5 bedroom luxury villa sleeps 10. It was lavishly remodeled in 2005, with heart of pine floors, bead board wainscoting, marble countertops and quarry tiled bathrooms. Every bathroom is custom designed with sculpted basins and brass fixtures.
The master suite has a stunning ocean view, and includes a bathroom replete with shower/steam room. Four bedrooms have their own full bathroom and TV/DVD player. The living room, dining room, and kitchen complex is open, airy, and overlooks the beach. From the balcony you can enjoy an aperitif while watching the moon rise over the ocean. The living room features a sophisticated entertainment center with flat screen TV and surround sound. So does the Master suite. Duneside has a fully-equipped, designer kitchen with every modern convenience.
POOL ACCESS IS INCLUDED! The Duneside Villas have the use of the neighborhood swimming pool, just 100 yards down the street. This is a benefit not available to many rental properties on Kiawah.
For your car, there is ample off-street parking in front of the villa.
ADDITIONAL RENTAL INFORMATION: Three Night Minimum stay in the off season. WEEKLY RENTALS ONLY from Memorial Day - Labor Day.

We became enchanted with Kiawah one spring break when we drove up the east coast from Florida looking for the perfect place for a second home. When we arrived on Kiawah, we knew our search was over. It wasn’t any one particular thing – it was everything. For the girls, it was the beach. For Peter, it was the golf, and the biking. For Mary, it was the fact that the island is a nature conservancy. Alligators, turtles, bobcats, oh my! And for all of us, it was the serenity of a Kiawah sunrise, and the dolphins playing on the strand at Captain Sam’s inlet.

Owner's Map of Duneside Villas
The Duneside villa owned by Peter & Mary Conway, of Cleveland Ohio. They fell in love with the south while living for some years in Asheville, North Carolina. Charleston was a favorite destination even then.
Peter is a partner in the local real estate firm of Akers, Ellis, and Truluck, and manages Duneside on behalf of his wife and two daughters.

Our trip here was amazing! Biking, walking, and lots of golfing made our trip fun. The rooms were really nice, especially the sunken bedroom. The living room was cozy, with its big TV. Many kitchen appliances; loving the blender to make smoothies. Our trip was great, you will love this place!

Walking, biking, gazing at the dolphins, golfing, multiple meals with good people- a most enjoyable respite from a NH winter. Most importantly, a time for family gatherings, catching up and cousin bonding. Next time? Kayaks and Charleston, can't wait! Also that boasted of New year's Day swim - next time. I appreciate the feedback. The lamp and the sautee pan will be provided. As for the elevator, it seems to have a friendly impulse which makes it want to follow us, unbidden, from floor to floor. But as elevators go, it is harmless.
