Duneside - You cannot live any closer to the beach on Kiawah Island! This 4-5 bedroom luxury villa sleeps 10. Ithas been lavishly remodeled, with heart of pine floors, bead board wainscoting, granite countertops and quarry tiled bathrooms. Every bathroom is custom designed with sculpted basins and brass fixtures.
The master suite has a stunning ocean view, and includes a bathroom replete with shower/steam room. Four bedrooms have their own full bathroom and TV/DVD player. The living room, dining room, and kitchen complex is open, airy, and overlooks the beach. From the balcony you can enjoy an aperitif while watching the moon rise over the ocean. The living room features a sophisticated entertainment center with flat screen TV and surround sound. So does the Master suite. Duneside has a fully-equipped, designer kitchen with every modern convenience.
POOL ACCESS IS INCLUDED! The Duneside Villas have the use of the neighborhood swimming pool, just 100 yards down the street. This is a benefit not available to many rental properties on Kiawah.
PET FRIENDLY: Small, very well behaved and trained pets are considered. Non refundable pet surcharge of $150 applies.
For your car, there are two reserved parking spaces in front of the villa.
ADDITIONAL RENTAL INFORMATION: Three Night Minimum stay in the off season. WEEKLY RENTALS ONLY from Memorial Day - Labor Day.

Why the Owner Chose Duneside Villas
We became enchanted with Kiawah one spring break when we drove up the east coast from Florida looking for the perfect place for a second home. When we arrived on Kiawah, we knew our search was over. It wasn’t any one particular thing – it was everything. For the girls, it was the beach. For Peter, it was the golf, and the biking. For Mary, it was the fact that the island is a nature conservancy. Alligators, turtles, bobcats, oh my! And for all of us, it was the serenity of a Kiawah sunrise, and the dolphins playing on the strand at Captain Sam’s inlet.

Owner's Map of Duneside Villas
The Duneside villa owned by Peter & Mary Conway, of Cleveland Ohio. They fell in love with the south while living for some years in Asheville, North Carolina. Charleston was a favorite destination even then.
Peter is a partner in the local real estate firm of Akers, Ellis, and manages Duneside on behalf of his wife and two daughters.

five star accomodation--we loved it. Beautifully furnished Just a few issues-- 1. the elevator kept making a noise and the call lights coming on. we called the resort but they were unable to fix the problem. 2. In additon, a lamp in the entry floor bedroom burned up--the plastic actually started to melt. Luckily, I was in the room when it happened and I immediately unplugged it and took it ouf ot the room. I called the resort on this problem as well but they did not come to fix it before we left. 3. You need a non-stick 8in sautee/fry pan for the kitchen
Owner response:I appreciate the feedback. The lamp and the sautee pan will be provided. As for the elevator, it seems to have a friendly impulse which makes it want to follow us, unbidden, from floor to floor. But as elevators go, it is harmless.

Our family shared a wonderful Christmas in this condo. The sunrise over the ocean as viewed from the living room was fabulous. A short walk down the path brought us to a long, flat beach to walk. The condo was clean, well maintained, comfortable and easily accommodated the 8 of us. Charleston was an easy 35 - 45 minute drive. Freshfields - the local shopping area had everything one could want - good grocery store, delicious restaurant. All in all a holiday venue I would recommend.

We were guests of our son and his family and really enjoyed your beautiful home. We had a week of sunshine and great temperatures. Had fun shell hunting with our grand-daughters. All in all a relaxing, fun time.
