We couldn't have stayed in a nicer home- location perfect, floor plan worked great as we had our daughter and husband with their 5 month old so they had their own floor and we had our peace and quiet. Photos accurately depict the home and the only negative was the pool was opening till the next week. Just a short two minute walk to a spectacular beach! Owners thoughtfully provided beach chairs and umbrellas. The view of the ocean from the master was beautiful and we slept with the sounds of the ocean lulling us to sleep each night- what could be better!
Owner response:We are so pleased that your vacation with us was all that you could have wished for. Yes indeed, the sound of the ocean at the villa is a daily, and nightly, lullaby. We hope that you will stay with us again, taking advantage of the repeat guest discount.

Our family shared a wonderful Christmas in this condo. The sunrise over the ocean as viewed from the living room was fabulous. A short walk down the path brought us to a long, flat beach to walk. The condo was clean, well maintained, comfortable and easily accommodated the 8 of us. Charleston was an easy 35 - 45 minute drive. Freshfields - the local shopping area had everything one could want - good grocery store, delicious restaurant. All in all a holiday venue I would recommend.

My family and I spent a week at this house from March 20th to March 26, 2011. My children loved the fact that they could have their own rooms including a tv and wifi!!!! The house is very well maintained and we sure enjoyed our stay. We mostly stayed at the house during the week and loved the fact that we could walk straight out to the beach from it...so easy!!! The kitchen is awesome with nice granite countertops! I personally loved the master shower/steam room!!!!
Owner response:It is always gratifying when folks enjoy our villa as much as we do. That is why we do this!

We had a wonderful time celebrating my birthday here on Kiawah. The weather was perfect and we enjoyed all the beautiful features of your home. It felt like we were living in a Southern Magazine featured home! We hope that you will consider our suggestion of adopting us into your family. We think it is a great idea. Thanks again.P.S. The flowers were so nice.

What a lovely home you have! We had a terrific time renewing our friendship that began in college 41 years ago! Some of the highlights in our dining experience include Fat Hen, Rosebank Farms, and especially Cru in Charleston. We hope that all who come after will have an equally wonderful stay. Enjoy long walks on the beach, beautiful sunrises and laughter with friends!

We all really enjoyed your home - it is beautiful - the weather was beautiful for the entire stay. We had a really nice time here and enjoyed many of the Charleston restaurants as well as those on Kiawah. Our favorites were:Rosebank Farms Cafe, Up Da Creek Seafoood Company, Wild Olive (great Italian food), Basils in Charleston. Island Soulfood Cafe had great low country food at reasonable prices, King Street Grille at Freshfields village. The above restaurants were for lunch and dinner in case it sounds as though all we did was eat. The weather was great, but that is not controlable, we just lucked out. The golf courses are beautiful to look at, but too expensive to golf on. Oh well, I didn't bring my clubs anyway! For shopping, World Apart on Maybank/Wapoo Road; Charleston Downtown Fruit Market on Saturday was a nice place to taste local fare and the merchants had lovely art work for sale. Some generous merchants even donated jewelry to our friend who is recuperating from surgery gone wrong. Everyone is so friendly here. Great views and a most comfortable villa.Fantastic! The house is great and enabled us to relax and enjoy our time together. We also took part in the vodka and wine tasting at the Vineyard and tasted tea at the only tea plantation in the US. Lots to see and do and of course the ocean provides a great backdrop. Thanks!

It's only Tuesday and we have been having a super time! Thanks for the flowers on the center table. Everyone is feeling so relaxed now - can't wait to continue this on Saturday....Well toady is Friday, August 7th. We are off to start a new tradition. We are heading to Hall's Chop House as recommended by a friend of Rebecca's. We would normally head to 82 Queen, but we are in a steak mood. The beach has been awesome - some good boogie board rides. Some super bike rides have been had and last night we rescued a baby raccoon from being run over. Today we are hopeful its mommy found it. W LOVE 1113 Duneside. We are all feeling SO relaxed. Thank you Conway family!Sat: Last night was a trip! Into Charleston for a delightful dinnner at Hall's Chop House. EXCELLENT! It is on King Street. Piano bar on ground floor, dining upstairs. Impeccable service. Then a walk down to 82 Queen to say hello and see the lovely lit courtyard - followed by a trip to River Street Sweets for some Pralines! What's not to love about Charleston and Kiawah Island?

We have thoroughly enjoyed our stay on Kiawah. We loved staying in your home. We swam in the ocean most days, walked along the beach, collected shells, rode all over the island, visited Charleston, Fort Sumter, ate at Magnolias, cooked fun meals, played games, did puzzles and generallly had a wonderful time!

Our trip here was amazing! Biking, walking, and lots of golfing made our trip fun. The rooms were really nice, especially the sunken bedroom. The living room was cozy, with its big TV. Many kitchen appliances; loving the blender to make smoothies. Our trip was great, you will love this place!

Walking, biking, gazing at the dolphins, golfing, multiple meals with good people- a most enjoyable respite from a NH winter. Most importantly, a time for family gatherings, catching up and cousin bonding. Next time? Kayaks and Charleston, can't wait! Also that boasted of New year's Day swim - next time. Your lovely Kiawah home is perfect for all and very relaxing. Happy New Year!

five star accomodation--we loved it. Beautifully furnished Just a few issues-- 1. the elevator kept making a noise and the call lights coming on. we called the resort but they were unable to fix the problem. 2. In additon, a lamp in the entry floor bedroom burned up--the plastic actually started to melt. Luckily, I was in the room when it happened and I immediately unplugged it and took it ouf ot the room. I called the resort on this problem as well but they did not come to fix it before we left. 3. You need a non-stick 8in sautee/fry pan for the kitchen
Owner response:I appreciate the feedback. The lamp and the sautee pan will be provided. As for the elevator, it seems to have a friendly impulse which makes it want to follow us, unbidden, from floor to floor. But as elevators go, it is harmless.
