Privacy and plenty of entertainment for the kids. This beautiful home is one back on a tripple lot with a large front lawn and single hoop basketball court in back. We are located in Wards Cove, just 100 feet from the beach! You can enjoy views of the lake while grilling and eating dinner on the large deck, or while eating breakfast from the kitchen, or hanging out in the living room. If the mosquitoes come out there is a large screened in porch to eat or relax in.
When it's time for the beach walk 100 foot across the lawn to a 250 foot pure sand beach with a large dock for day tie up and mooring for overnight. For the kids there is a roped off swim area and float, also a beach volleyball net. Sit in your beach chair and look out at the largest part of Sebago Lake, over 300' deep. I'ts a beautiful view!
If your adventurous walk or drive less than 1 mile to the local marina to rent watercraft, ski boats or pontoon boats. If you have your own water toy's launch them there and tie up at the beach dock and overnight mooring. When it's time for dinner take your boat to Fry's Island restaurant for dinner and an ice cream. It's in plain site as you stand on the beach. There is about 5 miles of water between you and Fry's Island. Wards cove has a nice social atmosphere with plenty of other kids to play with. It is a wonderful place for a family getaway, come spend a week or more at our home on Sebago Lake!
Our home is ideal for one or two families and is cozy enough for a couple. It is air conditioned with three bedrooms and two baths.
The first floor has two bedrooms with a twin-size bed in one and a double and twin-size bed in the other. One bathroom is on the first floor. The living room sofa opens up for an extra sleeping area. The downstairs bedroom has a queen-size bed. Also downstairs is a sitting room, with a futon, a bathroom, and a furnished screened room.
Pets allowed with permission only. If pets are allowed, pets must be restrained and picked up after the grounds must be kept clean.

Rate Details (In US Dollars)
1st 3 weeks in June is 1-7 people $1200.00 a week / 8-10 people $1600.00 a week
Jun 25th - Sept 6th is 1-7 people $1800.00 a week / 8-10 people $2000.00 a week
Sept 7th to October is 1-7 people $1200.00 a week / 8-10 people $1600.00 a week
Weekly rental is Saturday to Saturday.
Additional costs 7% Maine State Tax and $300.00 refundable security deposit
Off season monthly rental available from Labor Day to Memorial Day
Great for college students, 15-20 minutes from two nearby college campus.

We had a wonderful time! The house was clean and there was a wonderful view of the water. The kids were able to cross the street themselves due to the neighborhood environment. The house was clean and updated. A bit challenging with young children with the stairs and sleeping arrangements. The area was beautiful and quiet. Many night walks down the street looking at the water. Family friendly environment! Definitely would visit again! Owners were friendly. Went to Naples for ice cream and Portland for a rainy day.

We stayed at this cottage with two small children and my parents in July. The beach is perfect for kids and so convenient being directly across the street. We loved the view from the deck and enjoyed a couple rainy evenings in the screened in porch. It was a great neighborhood for wandering with the kids, watching the boats and ducks swimming by. We used this as home base for day trips to amusement parks and Old Orchard Beach. We would definitely rent this property again. The only negative would be that the upstairs bathroom could use some updating -- otherwise it is terrific.

Your place was charming and very well maintained. The beach being so close by was very convenient. Our grandchildren thoroughly enjoyed it and so didn't we. The upstairs was smaller than what we had envisioned, but was very pleasant. For outside activities we did bumper boats, go-carts, the water park and mini-golf. Had a fun and relaxed vacation.

The house was fantastic and the owners were very pleasant and easy to deal with. They allowed our dog Shadow to come, which was important to us. The house has everything we needed. The best part of all was the beach just across the street. It's amazingly nice, big, and family-friendly. We spent nearly the whole week lounging on the beach. The water was warm (July) and crystal clear with no mud or seaweed -- truly ideal.

First time to Maine and one of our favorite vacations. The house was nicely decorated and clean. The website doesn't do it justice. Location is great - easy access to the lake and adorable street of houses. Porch overlooks the lake for enjoyable morning breakfasts and grilling at night. Great time!
