Imagine having all the luxuries of a 5 star resort but with the conveniences of home. That is exactly what you will get with our Oceanfront condo within the gated community of Punta Mita, Mexico. Punta Mita is just 40 miles north of Puerto Vallarta and is fast becoming a worldwide destination, assisted in part by the unbelievable success of the 5 star Four Season’s Resort and the brand new St. Regis Hotel which opened November 1st, 2008.
That said, it is important to note that although many private owners advertise they are located near the Four Season’s Punta Mita Resort, UNLESS the property resides WITHIN the gates of the Punta Mita development (not the town of Punta de Mita), you will not be able to play either of the Four Season’s managed golf courses (the Bahia course is now open), use the tennis courts, or enjoy the Resident's Beach Club (which shares the same beach as the Four Season's Hotel and is equipped with full restaurant, 2 pools, hammocks, kayaks, children's playground area and massage cabanas) all designed exclusively for the residents and guests of Punta Mita. There is also a 2nd beach club (Kupuri), which is open for limited use but not yet 100% completed. It has the best beach of any place within the Punta Mita development. Owners must have the "Premier" Membership to allow use of the Fitness center or to play the 2nd golf course, which we have, so you will have complete access to everything Punta Mita offers.
Our condo, located in Hacienda de Mita, is the only beachfront condominium development located WITHIN the gates of Punta Mita. At over 3500 square feet, we have 3 large bedrooms (plus a children’s bunk room), 4 ½ baths, pool, hot tub, private beach club for Hacienda de Mita owners and guests only, and an ocean that is just steps away. Each bedroom is well equipped with Simmons by Beautyrest pillow-top mattresses (Kings in bedrooms one and two and two queens in bedroom three), 500 thread count sheets, and oversized bath towels. Family room and master bedroom have Dish network so you will have all the channels and comforts of home.
The kitchen opens to the dining and living area and the huge 30 x 15 patio. The patio doors slide completely back leaving a 20 foot open doorway onto the patio. It is exactly what you would imagine an oceanfront condo to be. Hacienda de Mita also has its own private beach club for the use of our residents only. It has an infinity edge pool, massage area, plenty of relaxing sofas and chairs and a kitchen area for you to store anything for the day. Currently there is also beverage and food service courtesy of some of the local restaurants nearby. Of course, the entire development is guard gated 24 hours/day.
The location of Hacienda de Mita is perfect. We are less than a two minute walk to the town of Punta de Mita where "restaurant row", an assortment of beachfront restaurants serving wonderful cuisine in a laid-back, "tables in the sand" atmosphere awaits. There are a total of nine restaurants, each of them directly on the beach. If you prefer not to walk (or don't want to rent a car during your stay) we also have a six-seater golf cart which you can easily take anywhere within the gates (i.e The Four Seasons, Golf courses, Resident's beach clubs) or to the town of Punta de Mita next door. It is fully equipped with both headlights and taillights so you can travel safely at night.
If you‘re a golfer, your vacation just got better. Guests of our condo can enjoy either of the amazing Jack Nicklaus Signature golf courses (the original one was voted the best resort course in the world by Conde Nast Travel, June 2006), featuring the famous "tail of the whale" hole (a 170-210 yard carry to the only natural island green in the world). And once you hit your ball, you are escorted to the green in an amphibious golf cart as the cart path is under water at high tide (it’s an amazing experience). Our guests also receive a reduced rate on green fees.
Another special feature of our condo is the services of our full time housekeeper. She works 8 hours/day Monday through Saturday and is also available to make breakfast,lunch or a snack during your stay (compare this service with other rentals as many charge extra for daily cleaning or cooking and it is not a full-time person). With this service, you will not have to lift a finger during your stay and it will truly be the "topper" to a great vacation.
Last but not least, guests have complete access to our concierge service. Whether it’s airport pickup/dropoff, a gourmet chef brought to your home, a massage, or activity tour, our concierge will be happy to accommodate you. We invite you to relax and enjoy in a place not often found so close to home.

Why the Owner Chose Hacienda de Mita
We had looked at properties in Cabo and Puerto Vallarta before visting Punta Mita and falling in love with it. We chose to buy in Punta Mita because it has great golf, great beaches, it is low density, upscale, private and secure. We enjoy having the small village in Punta Mita for good restaurants and excursions, and we do not have to drive and deal with traffic like in Puerto Vallarta and other large tourist destinations. We were very excited to buy property here and are very comfortable knowing our children can grow up coming here.
The Unique Benefits of this Condo
We have all of the comforts of home, yet we are on a beautiful beach vacation! We can keep in touch with email, and free long distance. We do not need to pack very much, as the condo has everything we need and there is also a washer and dryer for laundry. As a mom, the full time housekeeper is my favorite amenity. She cooks us breakfast and lunch and if I want to sleep late, she will get the kids breakfast. She does laundry ironing, all the dishes and other chores. It is nice to have a condo rather than a hotel room, but not have to be the one to keep it cleaned up. I dont want to cook, do laudry, load the dishwasher etc. while on vacation.

We celebrated our 10 year anniversary at the this condo within the Hacienda de Mita, and we will continue to go back year after year! It was amazing! The location could not have been any better as we loved walking into El Anclote, and the golf cart allowed us to get around Punta Mita quickly. We spent time at the Resident's Beach Club which had a beautiful beach and great service! The golf course is also a quick golf cart ride away. The condo is decorated beautifully and the view of the ocean is serene. It was very quiet, and we felt like we had the entire place to ourselves! So nice! They have thought of everything, so you just need to show up!! Our cook/maid prepared incredible meals for us everyday and kept the condo in tip top shape. We had a blast trying to communicate with her in Spanish!! If you don't know Spanish or don't want to give it a shot, the owners prepared enough "cheat sheets" that you can definitely get by in regards to letting her know what you'd like, etc. We cannot say enough about our stay and recommend this unit to everyone (adults only trip or with kids)!!

We went to Punta de Mita with another family(kids 3, 5 and 7) and stayed at Hacienda de Mita in September 2011. The condo and Punta de Mita blew our expectations away. The place was beautiful, the cook was amazing. We told her ahead of time what we wanted and she waited for us with fresh ceviches, guacamole, salsa, etc... She is the sweetest lady! The golf cart was a huge help, since is the best way of transportation around Punta de Mita. The owners of the property called us to make sure we were having a good time and if we needed anything. We were treated like Royalty! We already want to plan another trip and go back! Thank you so much for everything!

This was a fantastic vacation property - we were very happy with the location of the property in relation to the beach and town - it was exactly as described and the added bonus of the use of golf cart was really great - loved being able to explore "inside the gates" of Punta Mita. The condo buildings behind our unit were close together and there were a lot of them so the only way to go is to stay in the oceanfront building like ours. The photos of the property were very good but the real thing was even better. We loved the covered patio the most because you were outside and could relax and read out there and we ate breakfast and lunch out there everyday. The furnishings were lovely and Natalia, the housekeeper, kept everything beautifully maintained and clean. The lunches she made for us each day were fantastic and beautifully presented. Rosina, the property manager was helpful for the grocery shopping, arranging rides to/from airport and activities and other questions we had. The owners were really helpful in describing the condo, etc to us before we went down there and they even called while we were there to make sure everything was going well - very thoughtful!! I would highly recommend this to others. We enjoyed the Outdoor Adventure zipline tour - amazing. We also loved a the snorkling/whale watching trip to Marietas Islands. We had fun doing the morning yoga class at the pavilion by Kapuri beach. And our 15 year old son had a great surfing lesson. We also loved renting paddle boards and kayaks right out in front of the condo. Exploring beaches at Kapuri and the Residents beach club was great too. We had some very good dinners in town - Margaritas was a favorite -also liked Casa Teresa and Si Senor. Had a great dinner at Sofi's - wow. We hope to go back soon!

We stayed at the Gysin's place over the past Thanksgiving holiday, and it was one of the best vacations we have ever had, and certainly the best vacation to Mexico for us. The condo is exactly as nice as it looks in the photos, if not even nicer in person. the location is great and just a quick walk to the beach, beach club, and the little town the is on the outside of the gate. Their unit is furnished with anything you may need on the trip. Natalia the cook is amazing and does a wonderful job. we also really enjoyed having the golf cart included, with my 70+ year old mother with us, it was a great way to get the whole group around. We loved it so much I booked another week within a day of returning home, for what you get this is a great value. Can't wait to return, thanks Tom and Kim !

Our recent visit to the Gysin's condo in Punta Mita defied all imagination! We stayed in the condo with three other couples for a week last month—02/22/09-02/28/09. The condo itself was beautiful, spacious and luxurious with all the comforts of home…and the view, oh the view. We were able to enjoy all that Punta Mita has to offer—swimming, surfing, deep sea fishing, whale watching, shopping, exploring, while also getting in plenty of rest and relaxation. The meals prepared for us by the adorable and sweet Natalia were delicious and such a perk! Of course we were visited each day by Rosina from the Concierge who was extremely helpful in finding us excursions and even arranged for us to have massages at the condo itself. Although we had a rental car, it was practically unnecessary, because we either walked each evening to the wonderful restaurants lined up on the Punta Mita sand, or took the golf cart around the area. The owners are top notch, and have ensured that all details are covered for a top of the line stay. We plan to recommend the condo to anyone who will listen, and hope to make it a vacation place for us in the years to come. Thanks for sharing your wonderful home. We had the trip of a lifetime

We just returned from a week's stay at this luxurious oceanfront villa. The owners' description is absolutely accurate. The villa is well-maintained and well-equipped. Don't worry if you forget something; you're sure to find it in the villa. We enjoyed everything about our stay - especially the warm,friendly people, the breathtaking view from the expansive patio, the waterfront restaurants within walking distance in El Anclote, the great service and oceanside lounging at the Residents' Beach Club, and the option of fine dining at St. Regis, the Four Seasons, and Sufi. If you're interested in snorkeling, spearfishing, or deep sea fishing, we recommend that you contact Nicholas and Sebastian Bellini, the owners of Punta Mita Expeditions. We all look forward to our next visit to this lovely place.

This rental is everything previous comments have alluded to, the premises are wonderful, the ocean view phenomenal, the staff, professional and helpful. I highly recommend this property. The owners are available and helpful should you have questions or need them. The breakfasts and lunches were not only attractively laid out, but very tasty, too. Guess we liked the place...01/27/09

Staying at the condo with a group of friends was like being in your own private paradise. Everything about it was beautiful. The views were spectacular, the accomadations superb, and the help from Miranda wonderful. Golfing, snorkeling, dining and shopping were experiences that could only have been gotten at Punta Mita.

This condo is absolutely beautiful. Large and spacious, comfortable with a calm and restful ambience. I spent a week there in May of 2008 with six of my girlfriends and we took advantage of all the great services available; a cook, a concierge, whom were both absolutely wonderful. The concierge, Miranda was friendly, personable and we all loved her. Loved being close to shopping, great restaurants, scuba diving, and best of all a Four Seasons Golf Course. A once in a lifetime experience for me. I was able to bring home many wonderful and lasting memories. Loved every minute of it.
