Makena Surf B305 is a two-bedroom, two-bath condominium on the third floor of the "B" building at Makena Surf; the Pacific Ocean is right before you, across a gorgeous sand beach. The beach is wonderful for snorkeling and has a large sea turtle population. The unit was completely redecorated in 2006. The master bedroom has a king bed; the second bedroom can be used as a king bed or two extra-long twins.
The view of the ocean is unrestricted, and on a clear day Lanai, Molokai, West Maui, Kohololawe, Molokini, and the Big Island are visible. In the early winter whales are frequently visible. The view is due west, and each sunset is spectacular. We have a gourmet kitchen with superb appliances and extensive equipment. The Makena Surf complex is the premier complex on Maui, and it is a gated community. The "B" building is the only building in the complex on the sand beach. The TV is a 46 inch LCD with a DVD player, brand new. Two smaller HDTVs are in the bedrooms with DVD players.

Why the Owner Chose Makena
We bought this property together when we were still dating, and we have owned it since 1986 and through many years of marriage. The location is absolutely superb; there isn't another one like it anywhere. We are on a gorgeous, sandy beach with an unrestricted view of the Pacific Ocean and several islands. In the winter we see many whales and porpoises from the lanai. We love the water and snorkel right off of our own beach, not to mention using the tennis courts and local golf courses. Maui has become a sophisticated destination, but one with a comfortable, unpretentious attitude. Good restaurants are nearby, but we usually cook when we are on island and we have an extensively equipped kitchen. We barbeque often on the gas units provided by the complex. Makena Surf is very family friendly; we have our children and grandchildren with us often. It is one of the best vacation spots in the world.
