This is a four bedroom, three bath home on a private cul de sac in Montecito. The gated entry and completely enclosed yard make this property very private and the perfect home for the family with kids. Your kids will love being here, there is so much for them to do. Inside there are three bedrooms plus a large master bedroom with master bathroom. The kitchen looks out onto the gardens and pool area. Past the pool area is a swing set and tree house. This has a baby swing also
There are many different kinds of fruit trees above the pool area, and next to the large doll house. The den is the most desirable room in this home. Always bright and centered right in the hub of everything. Double doors open up to the pool area and almost make you feel like you are outside. The den has a large TV, DVD player. The living room is very comfortable with carpeting. There are wood floors throughout, high beamed ceilings and a gas fireplace.
Beautiful Kitchen with fur cabinets and granite countertops. Top and of the line appliances. Everything you will need to feel right at home. Dining room and counter area off of kitchen. Two doors leading outside, one to the pool area and the other to the outside patio area and BBQ. Pool area has Table and chairs with umbrellas. Laundry Room has MayTag front loading washer and dryer, sink and lots of cabinets.

Ahh…can you say relaxation? If that’s what you’re searching for, look no further. This Santa Barbara vacation rental is a lovely home at the end of a cul-de-sac in a great neighborhood and within minutes to shops, restaurants, and the beach in both Montecito and Santa Barbara.
Entering the private gate to the California ranch style home, the Dutch front door sets the tone for this delightfully bright and inviting home. The home has beautiful mature landscaping in the front and back yard. The pool area is surrounded with flagstone, with a grass surround and a sweet custom swing and slide set along with two playhouses, for your cubs to enjoy. There also is an outside shower for sandy feet. With the added touch of a variety of magazines and comfortable lounges make poolside the place to be! The charming fountain and fire pit make evenings that much more comfortable to enjoy with great conversation.
The home with tasteful beach decor has two fireplaces, one gas and the other wood (plenty of firewood is stocked right out the side door). Both the living room and family room are spacious and another place to relax. The kitchen is well equipped with all upgraded appliances and is stocked for home cooking if desired. Each bedroom is pleasantly decorated, open and refreshing. The master is spacious and has its own living area and huge flat screen TV with an equally large bath and walk-in closet; I might add that the shower is without reservation the best shower I’ve ever experienced!
This home is perfect for a large family to enjoy or perhaps even a place for a family reunion. There’s plenty of room around the large dining room table; 12-15 should feel very comfortable enjoying meals. Inside and outside areas provide wonderful room for entertainment of few or many.
Julie, the owner and manager, has thought of everything and she stays out of your hair! If you need anything, you can call her up, but if you’re like me and prefer to be left alone, she’ll give you that privacy. The rental has plenty of linens, towels and necessities supplied; the laundry room is centrally located for convenience in case you need it. You’ll feel like you’re at your own private resort, but with the privacy to enjoy it. One week would not feel long enough to enjoy all the comforts that are available with this Santa Barbara home and the area where it is located. I didn’t want to leave and neither will you!

We had a wonderful stay here in this beautiful, open and inviting home with our two kids (ages 2 and 5). It was one of the most relaxing and enjoyable vacations we have had with the kids. The house is both well appointed and very family friendly in its layout. The yard was private and well landscaped with plenty of open space, a rose garden with fountain, and mature trees. You can see the yard from almost every room in the house to keep an eye on the kids. We also used the pool gate for added peace of mind. We grilled outside, went swimming and used the dollhouse, treehouse, and swingset frequently. The house is super close to the zoo, Lotusland and the beach. Going downtown Santa Barbara took under 10minutes by car.We walked to the wonderful shops and dining in Coast Village Road daily. Montecito itself is gorgeously green and floral with rolling hills. The Craigs were so accomodating, helpful and friendly. We had a fabulous time and are planning our next trip back!

Thank you, Julie. We came to Santa Barbara with all our children and grandchildren to attend a friends wedding. We could not have asked for better weather or a nicer place to stay. The house was so roomy and well laid out, that there was plenty of space for all of us... especially once we discovered where the other bathroon was...Everyone loved the pool and the s'mores and guitar around the firepit in the evenings. The kitchen was very well equiped. I loved those orange bowls and glasses. We all wished we could have stayed longer... and we all want to come back. Thanks again.

My family stayed here for a long weekend while in town for my wedding. It's the perfect location, close to grocery stores, the beach, and downtown Santa Barbara but feels very secluded and private. It was great for my 5 year old nephew who spent lots of time in the pool and had plenty of room to run around and play. The house is beautifully laid out to provide privacy for those who want it and great gathering spaces for spending time together. The kitchen was stocked with everything we needed and we even enjoyed fresh fruit from some of the fruit trees on the property. The fresh flowers throughout the house made it feel extra special. Julie was wonderful to work with and we'll definitely be coming back!

We stayed at this property with our two daughters two weeks ago and we loved it!!!!! the place is so serene and quiet. the pool was wonderful our girls could not get enough of it. I was so impressed with the kitchen it was stacked with top of the line dishes, pots and........ this place is a walking distance to grocery,shops and a short distance to the beach. rooms were nicely furnished and comfortable. I do highly recomend staying at this property july was very helpful through the whole process. we would stay again at this property.

We stayed at this beautiful property for a long weekend in February. It was an amazing house with a really comfortable atmosphere. When we arrived the house was perfectly clean with candles lit and the fireplace burning. We wish the weather would have been a little nicer, but we had a GREAT house to stay warm in. The house was located near a grocery story and about 10 minutes from downtown Santa Barbara. The only problem with this place was the fact we had to leave. I can't wait to return in the future.

We rented the home for a long weekend for our son's wedding. The home was absolutely perfect for us...I can't express how much we enjoyed this beautiful home, we were lucky enough to have a warm weekend for March, we would love to go again and stay during the warm summer months. The house would be a perfect place to rent for the holiday season, you could have a large family gathering with all the space. Working with Julie Craig was so awesome, she was very warm and inviting. This truly is a beautiful home and the owners were a pleasure to deal with from the commencement of the transaction through our final day of rental. We were lucky enough to have this home for a week and shared it with our two kids (1 and 4 years of age) and each of our mothers. The home is very spacious, kept very nice and is everything the pictures show and so much more. The home is well equipped with everything you need for a home away from home stay and is within walking distance to a Von's grocery (tip get the Von's Card at the beginning of your stay as this will save you a lot of money). My wife and I have had a lot of experience with home rentals and would not hesitate to re-rent this home in the future. In fact, we are not usually the type to write reviews but this home is so special that we'd like to do whatever we can do to keep it on the rental market.

The house was even better in real life. We knew it would be great but it was just perfect when we showed up. Home is extremely well taken care of, its decorated in a perfect beach style decor and Julie was great to work with. We had a number of women stay here and all of them had nothing but great things to say about it. Would absolutely stay here again and recommend to anyone I know. Thanks for such a wonderful experience Julie!
