Thank you, Julie. We came to Santa Barbara with all our children and grandchildren to attend a friends wedding. We could not have asked for better weather or a nicer place to stay. The house was so roomy and well laid out, that there was plenty of space for all of us... especially once we discovered where the other bathroon was...Everyone loved the pool and the s'mores and guitar around the firepit in the evenings. The kitchen was very well equiped. I loved those orange bowls and glasses. We all wished we could have stayed longer... and we all want to come back. Thanks again.

Perfect place for visiting family

My family stayed here for a long weekend while in town for my wedding. It's the perfect location, close to grocery stores, the beach, and downtown Santa Barbara but feels very secluded and private. It was great for my 5 year old nephew who spent lots of time in the pool and had plenty of room to run around and play. The house is beautifully laid out to provide privacy for those who want it and great gathering spaces for spending time together. The kitchen was stocked with everything we needed and we even enjoyed fresh fruit from some of the fruit trees on the property. The fresh flowers throughout the house made it feel extra special. Julie was wonderful to work with and we'll definitely be coming back!

We stayed at this property with our two daughters two weeks ago and we loved it!!!!! the place is so serene and quiet. the pool was wonderful our girls could not get enough of it. I was so impressed with the kitchen it was stacked with top of the line dishes, pots and........ this place is a walking distance to grocery,shops and a short distance to the beach. rooms were nicely furnished and comfortable. I do highly recomend staying at this property july was very helpful through the whole process. we would stay again at this property.

We stayed at this beautiful property for a long weekend in February. It was an amazing house with a really comfortable atmosphere. When we arrived the house was perfectly clean with candles lit and the fireplace burning. We wish the weather would have been a little nicer, but we had a GREAT house to stay warm in. The house was located near a grocery story and about 10 minutes from downtown Santa Barbara. The only problem with this place was the fact we had to leave. I can't wait to return in the future.

We rented the home for a long weekend for our son's wedding. The home was absolutely perfect for us...I can't express how much we enjoyed this beautiful home, we were lucky enough to have a warm weekend for March, we would love to go again and stay during the warm summer months. The house would be a perfect place to rent for the holiday season, you could have a large family gathering with all the space. Working with Julie Craig was so awesome, she was very warm and inviting. The location was perfect for us as we could easily get to the stores, beach and shopping... Thank you Craig family!

Outstanding Vacation Home You'll Not Want to Leave

This truly is a beautiful home and the owners were a pleasure to deal with from the commencement of the transaction through our final day of rental. We were lucky enough to have this home for a week and shared it with our two kids (1 and 4 years of age) and each of our mothers. The home is very spacious, kept very nice and is everything the pictures show and so much more. The home is well equipped with everything you need for a home away from home stay and is within walking distance to a Von's grocery (tip get the Von's Card at the beginning of your stay as this will save you a lot of money). My wife and I have had a lot of experience with home rentals and would not hesitate to re-rent this home in the future. In fact, we are not usually the type to write reviews but this home is so special that we'd like to do whatever we can do to keep it on the rental market.

The house was even better in real life. We knew it would be great but it was just perfect when we showed up. Home is extremely well taken care of, its decorated in a perfect beach style decor and Julie was great to work with. We had a number of women stay here and all of them had nothing but great things to say about it. Would absolutely stay here again and recommend to anyone I know. The Craig's home is so gracious and the backyard so relaxing and fun that we ventured out less than usual. We also enjoyed the wine country and Santa Barbara. I recommend this lovely home heartily - we loved picking fruit off the trees for meals and wished grandchildren had been able to enjoy the playyard. Definitely a place to return!

Thank you for letting us have such a great time in this house. Swings, basketball and pool for the kids. The beautiful garden with all these flowers and those tasty peaches. And all the wonderful things in the house, flowers, candles, signs, shells and all the other little details. We enjoyed it all so much.

We are repeat guests (June 2008 and June 2009) at this home. Julie is a gracious and helpful host and even arranged a babysitter at the last minute for us. It is in a great location, though we were often content to stay at the home, enjoying all its features. It is perfect for family getaways and we look forward to coming back again and again.

This wonderful montecito house is nothing short of fantastic. The layout is very spacious and has family friendly atmosphere. The property is within walking distance to the grocery, and within driving distance to the downtown nightlife. The pool/patio setup is a backyard dream; with a heated pool, patio furniture, and fully operational grill. There are even freshly grown fruit in the garden next to the house. The Craig family was very helpful and accomodating. We will definitly be returning in the following summers to this montecito paradise.

We feel so fortunate to have found this home to rent for a very special occasion - a family reunion brought on by our daughter's college graduation. The location of the house was easy to find and had good access to the freeway. The home itself was beautiful, spacious and immaculate. The bedrooms were all good sized and the beds were incredibly comfortable. The master suite was enormous and the master bath was absolutely luxurious - the shower was amazing. The furniture in the living room and den were large, comfortable and accommodated all of our family. What a pleasure to light the fire and sit with our family and visit! The kitchen was also perfect for our gathering with the double ovens, the sub-zero extra wide refrigerator and freezer. I feel like I keep repeating the words "beautiful, immaculate..." but I can't help but say it again when describing the grounds. The yard was beautifully landscaped, the heated pool was a favorite, and our little ones really appreciated the playhouse, treehouse and swing set. Our family was overwhelmingly impressed and we were thrilled to be able to host our big event at this house. We would highly recommend this home to friends and especially to people with children. We are certainly hoping that this home will still be available to rent when our other daughters graduate from UCSB in the future.

This Montecito Estate is as lovely as the website suggests and better. Our whole family, grandparents, children and grandchildren had a most memorable vacation. The Craig's knock themselves being good hosts. P.S. There is a rose garden and fruit trees to enjoy also. JNB

We had a wonderful stay here in this beautiful, open and inviting home with our two kids (ages 2 and 5). It was one of the most relaxing and enjoyable vacations we have had with the kids. The house is both well appointed and very family friendly in its layout. The yard was private and well landscaped with plenty of open space, a rose garden with fountain, and mature trees. You can see the yard from almost every room in the house to keep an eye on the kids. We also used the pool gate for added peace of mind. We grilled outside, went swimming and used the dollhouse, treehouse, and swingset frequently. The house is super close to the zoo, Lotusland and the beach. Going downtown Santa Barbara took under 10minutes by car.We walked to the wonderful shops and dining in Coast Village Road daily. Montecito itself is gorgeously green and floral with rolling hills. The Craigs were so accomodating, helpful and friendly. We had a fabulous time and are planning our next trip back!
