We have travelled throughout Costa Rica and rented numerous homes & cabinas. This home was in the top 3!!! Absolutely fantastic! We will definately be back and have already recommended to friends who are hoping to go to Costa Rica. Thank you Wayne!!

We called it Wayne’s World and it was a world unto itself. Quirky. Off the beaten path. The paved road ends long before you arrive, but if you follow Wayne’s instructions carefully, you will arrive in paradise. Wayne’s map shows a small community of houses, but where are they? Cleverly hidden. You pass a pink house on the road, and if you lean out from the balcony you can see a jut of pink stucco through a haze of bright orange Poinciana. A gate just before Wayne’s property suggests that there might be a house up there somewhere. We never saw it. Ingenious land use and architectural design provides neighbors, without breaking the ambiance of being in an enchanted forest. In addition to creating your own little jungle retreat, this type of planning also helps to preserve biodiversity and maintain wildlife corridors. Colorful birds, frogs, lizards and intricately patterned moths will entertain you, but the troop of howler monkeys living in the jungle around the house take the academy award. The upper-level covered balcony will be your favorite place to start the day with a cup of good Costa Rican coffee and end it with a glass of wine. The big front bedroom has the feel of a glassed in tree house. The large kitchen/great room is perfect for preparing a meal and visiting. But if you are not in the mood, there are several good restaurants in the area. The property consists of the main house and the small casita. The two share the pool, which is big enough for all. We enjoyed chatting with the couple staying in the casita. From the infinity pool your gaze flows over the landscaped yard to the forest canopy and on to the crashing surf of the Pacific. The view plus the covered patio and barbie will tempt you to linger long by the pool. And to return to Wayne’s World again and again.

I love the house i stayed with my family and it was great we had everything we need from one small but powerful radio too all the kitchen set that is always useful Thank you for letting us use your house and i will always recommend such place the road was perfect the beach was beautiful and always a lot of things to see

My husband, myself, 2 children & Best Bud with Friend were all guests at WAYNES WORLD! We were lucky enough to stay in this Paradise for a month! Location is epic even is you dont have a car. Close walk to beach & resturaunts. It was hard to leave the house with all the amazing ammenties. I personally feel it was the pool that kept me happy as a clam!! Would love to visit again and reccomentd it to all for a little peace of heaven!

My whole family stayed during a week on this wonderful place. It is wonderful for kids, adults and even for our dog. We got everything we needed and more. The pool always clean, the green areas are great, the BBQ worked fine and the coyote beach area still one of the few untouched areas of Guanacaste. You have waht you need: a grocery store, fresh fish, a wonderful beach to go jogging every morning and a wonderful pool to watch every sunset !!! The owner is very friendly the neighbors are very helpful people! I shouldn´t be writing this because so many people will be interested on renting the house so when I want to spend my vacation there it will be already taken.LOL Don´t think it twice it is THE PLACE.

A beautiful house and location for a very relaxing vacation. We had a fabulous time away from the hustle and bustle and enjoyed the people and nature! If you can handle a semi-long drive on a bumpy dirt road, and crossing a river, it's a great destination away from everything!
