We had a Great time at The Carriage House! The kitchen was fully equipped with Pots,Pans,Utensils, Spices, even Wine glasses. The whole House and Property were spotless. The Beds were extremely comfortable and the pillows were too. The couches upstairs were like new. The Washer, Dryer,Stove,Refrigerator, Jacuzzi,and TVs were all in perfect condition. We enjoyed cooking on the Grill. Turkeys,Ducks,Geese,Squirrels and Rabbits came to visit during the day. Each night, during our campfire, a herd of deer walked by around dusk only 60 feet away!!! Liz made us feel right at home. Thank you Liz for our wonderful weekend.

My family (husband, 2 kids and myself) flew in from Arizona and stayed at the Carriage House for a long weekend. Visiting with us were a handful of niece and nephews from the city. This property was more than accommodating and a dream for the kids. Liz was wonderful and helpful in every way possible. She extended her generosity immensely. She took us on a tour around the property, let the kids feed/brush and take photos with Deja and Socks (2 horses). She let the kids pump water from the 100 year old well and use the boat in the pond. Kids had a blast trying to catch frogs in the pond, had us in tears. It was great to sit outside and watch all the wild animals (hawk, deer, turkeys, geese), oh and we heard coyotes (Liz does a great dog noise :)) Fantastic time to grill out, relax, sit by the fire, roast marshmallows, socialize with family and friends. I even had a very quiet morning (when family was sleeping) to sit out by myself and enjoy a heard of deer run by. The views were just breath taking and Liz has an amazing getaway location. Oh and in case you didn't know; Liz is an excellent photographer. The house was equipped with much more than we could need and then some. It was extremely clean and plenty of space for all of us. Thank you for allowing us to have such a delightful time with loved ones. We will definitely stay here again.

My husband, cousin and cousin's husband stayed at the beautiful, quiet, well taken care of farm for three nights. Liz the owner is amazing. She has everything you could possible need at both properties. We stayed at the carriage house which is spacious, very clean, and relaxing. Liz offers a tour of the amazing property. I recommend taking the tour. She shows you all around her property and the history of it. All the animals are well taken care of and very friendly. The carriage house has a wonderful jacuzzi tub. Beds are very comfortable. You can tell Liz is very proud of her accomplishments and it shows in every aspect of her property. Liz offers you great information about the area and where to go. We had some fantastic delicious meals at a few breakfast places (O'neils and Ambrosia) and a wonderful, amazing dinner at the Mountain View Brasserie. Liz's place is a 2 hour Amtrak ride to the city which we took part in. There are tons of activities to do in the area as well. We did some ATV-ing (on the way found an peaceful beautiful waterfall), hiking, and driving around just to see the beautiful landscape. We had a wonderful cookout at the carriage house as Liz offers a ton of amenities, two grills, fire pit, tables and chairs and where to go to get delicious cookout food. I would recommend staying with Liz at any opportunity. She has games, playhouses etc for kids and families as well as romantic scenery and peaceful nights for couples. We are already planning our next stay with Liz!

Myself and two girlfriends arrived at the Pine Ridge Farm on a Sunday afternoon to find Liz, the owner, outside amidst of her horses, wild turkeys, deer and other wildlife. It was unbelievable and fantastic!. The carraige house where we stayed for three days was emaculate and Liz has assured everything you possibly would need is available. The house was roomy, comfortable and welcoming. Liz provided us with dinner recommendations closeby which turned out to be great. Each morning we woke to sunny skies and beautiful scenery. Each night we had a fire in the firepit. Everything about our stay was great; the hostess, the property, the hiking and the animals. The property has walking trails for all levels. This is a great place for families, friends or couples.Thanks Liz!!

A group of friends and our wife's just return from a long weekend on the farm. 2 Couples in the Carriage House and 2 couple across the street in the guest house. Let me tell you............It was a home away from home! Liz goes beyond anyone's expectations to make you feel welcome. If you ski-this is your place! If you hike- this is your place! If you just want to get away and relax and do nothing-this is your place! Will be back for sure!

From the moment we stepped foot onto the property, my family and I knew it would be a weekend to remember. Elizabeth was there to greet us and introduce us to her farm right when we pulled up. You could see the love and attention that she and her family put into every corner of the property. The home was clean, cozy, yet spacious. We had everything we needed for a weekend of cooking, visiting and relaxing. We loved the outdoor fire pit and bbq. We used the kitchen every day, and also retired to the den to relax every day. My three kids had more than enough room to spread out if they needed some time to themselves. There were even things in the pantry that we used and did not have to buy from the supermarket which was conveniently located a just few minutes up the road. Elizabeth also introduced us to the horses, deer and wild turkey. The view from the house was truly majestic. We would wake up and look our over the pound and trees to the gorgeous Catskill Mountain Range. Elizabeth also led us on a tour of the properties trails and by the end of the trip we got to know the horses really well and got to interact with them for a full morning. This was certainly one of the highlights of the trip. Pine Ridge is a wonderful place to stay. We spent the weekend skiing,and had easy trips to several mountains because of the great location of the farm. It was really central to many things. We would definitely come back again, recommend to friends, and stay even longer and in any season! Thanks for such a wonderful stay!

The accommodations at the carriage house where very nice and cozy. The listing described the location accurately, and we had access to everything described, including the gorgeous scenery and incredible wildlife. The property was very clean, well maintained and you where left to relax since so much was already thought of for you. The owner provided some of the nicest customer service I have seen. She even let us go down to the barn where she kept the horses and we groomed, and pet and fed them. I would definitely recommend Pine Ridge to friends because I am certain they would have a great stay.

We loved every minute of our time at pine ridge farm. Liz (owner) was so eager to please and provide memorable experiences for us. The animals and wild life are gorgeous. We got to feed, brush and ride the horses. We got a tour of the property on tractor. Our family loved the carriage house. We prepared most of our meals and had cook outs too. We used the outdoor fireplace every day. The property was very convenient to ski resorts. My children are already begging us to go back. It really felt like our own home. We will be back!

We were very pleased with our recent trip to the Pine Ridge Farms Carriage House! My husband and I live in the city and found it to be an easy trip to make for some much needed r&r. My personal highlight was the wildlife and farm animals. Liz has 2 horses, who are very tame and there were deer and wild turkeys in our yard! The carriage house is very clean, with 2 very nice bedrooms plus hideaway couches in the upstairs family room. Our party of 4 was very comfortable and we could easy fit more on our next trip. We would definitely consider visiting again!

We returned for a minivacation at Pineridgefarm and as always had a hard time to leave... The place is beautiful and quiet. The Carriage House is very well mentained and Liz keeps it spotless . The location is perfect for relaxing and recharging :) ! Also Liz is very friendly and makes us feel like home. We are looking forward to the next vacation at Pinneridgefarm .

We rented the carriage house for three days over the Christmas break. We found the house to be a bit bigger than we expected based on the pictures and exceptionally clean and well-maintained. We were pleasantly surprised by how well-stocked the kitchen was with utensils and spices and basics for cooking. Liz was extremely helpful and welcoming in every regard. The first day we just stuck close to home and in the morning the kids saw the horses and helped in the grooming and were able to sit on the horse which they enjoyed, Liz also took us for a ride in the woods on the ATV. Windham mountain was about 20 minutes away and we took advantage to go downhill skiing one day, hiking a bit on the other day. Our only real complaint is that there wasn't any SNOW!! I had brought along my cross country skis which would have been great to use on the grounds but it will have to wait for another opportunity. The price was so reasonable and the owners so fair and accommodating that I only have good things to say about our time there.

I'm 8 months pregnant and needed a place to just kick back and relax and at the same keep my 3 1/2 yr old interested and happy. Pine Ridge farm offered just that and more! I was able to put my feet up and relax while enjoying the serene catskill mountains, the horses quietly grazing by the pond and the deer prancing in an out of our backyard. My son got to go on a tractor ride, feed carrots to the horses, feed apples to the wild deer, feed the wild turkeys, roast marshmallows, stargaze , play in the kiddie pool...I could go on. Thanks to Elizabeth for making our stay very comfortable and memorable. Hope to be back soon. I would recommend this vacation home to a friend.

My family spent great summer vacation in this property. First of all, the owner was so kind taking care of us. What a wonderful place on earth. We spend 3 days (to short!) in the carriage house on Pine Ridge Farm amidst impressive scenery. Seeing turkeys and deer all around us all the day. Our house was very comfortable, spotless-clean and best invested. But the great hospitality and warm-hearted attention of Mike and Liz Gioja make our stay to them was ist was: simply perfect! We are sure to come back and recommend Pine Ridge Farm our friends and family!

We just got home from spending the weekend at the carriage house with our 22 month old daughter. It was a perfect weekend away! We saw deer, wild turkeys, bunnies, ducks, caterpillars... and of course, the horses Soxs and Deja Vu. Liz and her husband Mike were so helpful and friendly. We were arriving late on Friday and Liz even offered to pick up what we needed from the store for us. We got produce from Stanton's farm which was amazing. It was a perfect weekend. We just returned home from a wonderful week at the Carriage House at Pine Ridge Farms. The Carriage House is in immaculate condition and is the perfect place to stay with its comfortable furniture, kitchen stocked with everything you could possible need, and great yard filled with more turkey and deer than we could count. Liz is the perfect hostess. She made sure that we knew where everything was in the house, what restaurants and attractions were around, and she was available if we had questions but was not at all intrusive. Liz takes pride in her property and it shows. We will definitely be back.

My family had a great time during our week long stay at this location, which was perfectly clean, comfortable, and well-maintained. The owner supplied us with plenty of material and advice on local events and attractions to ensure we got the most out of our vacation. The listing photos accurately reflect the rental's appearance and amenities. The horses on the property were very sweet and friendly, and we had the opportunity to observe plenty of wildlife from the private back yard, such as deer, turkeys, rabbits, birds and much more. I know our boys (ages 4 and 11) will never forget the fun time we had at the rental house and the attractions we attended, such as Howe's Caverns and Zoom Flume Water Park to name a couple, all within an hour's drive from the rental property.

We just came back from our annual outing to our favorite restaurants in the Catskills. In the past the problem was always where to stay so that we could be close without giving up cleanliness and amenities. Problem solved! The Carriage House at Pine Ridge Farms with Liz G. We had a fantastic time at Pine Ridge Farms. The Carriage House is the perfect place for a relaxing vacation or an active one. The beautiful scenery is peaceful and serene. We loved watching the turkeys, the geese and deer grazing in the yard. The house is spacious, impeccably clean and equipped with everything you could ever need. Liz was the perfect hostess. Warm, attentive and full of wonderful stories. She gave us a tour of her beautiful property, and took us to feed the geese and her horses. My wife, 11-month-old daughter and I, stayed at ther Pine Ridge Farms guesthouse for a weekend with our friends - another couple and child. The house had plenty of space for 4 adults and 2 small children. It was also very nice and homey and impecably maintained with love, care and plenty of personal touches from the owner. The owner herself was incredibly personable and welcoming, full of wonderful stories and a genuine desire to make your stay memorable and to help you enjoy the full beauty of the Catskills region. The entire experience was very child friendly, including an opportunity for the girls to play with the local animals (horses, geese, turkeys, etc.) which the girls loved. The property itself is great with plenty of opportunities to enjoy nature. Great place to stay! Highly recommend.

We stayed there this past weekend and were very pleased about everything. The house is spotless ,is located in a beautiful location and is very closed to Windham Mountain ( for those who want to ski). Liz has a great personality and made us feel like home. Seeing the horses, wild turkey and the deers was also a great and fun experience. I am already planning my next getaway :) and I would love to see the area in the Summer. I would highly recommend this property to my friends.

I just returned from two days at this beautiful carriage house. I was in great need of a retreat and could not have been more pleased with the accommodations (everything you need even a few "snacky" foods!), the setting and the understanding of Liz that I needed some quiet time. She walked me through the house and the area attractions and on my next trip there plan on taking advantage of some of her suggestions. I feel refreshed and ready to tackle the simplification process!! An interesting note that Liz used to live in Red Hook, NY next door to a couple of the dearest people in our community!! Small world....

We met some friends from Rochester here last weekend and we all had such an amazing time! (Two couples and two one- year olds) Liz was so good to us- made sure we found our way (it's not difficult to find), that we had a perfect time, knew the best restaurants, and provided us with lots of wonderful suggestions of what to do. The house was immaculate and had everything we needed and lots more. She even managed to provide us with two high chairs for our girls! The pictures don't even do it justice- the property and view is amazing. The carriage house is well kept and nicely decorated. Liz took us on a gator ride through her property and it was beautiful, fun, and *best of all* both babies fell asleep. Each morning we saw deer and wild turkeys and we got to interact with her gorgeous horses. A minor note that shouldn't deter you from staying at this perfect rental owned by a welcoming lady- Greenville is a small town and perhaps very removed from NYC (although just 2 hrs away)- we had an uncomfortable trip to the local market where we encountered not the most welcoming people (bit racist). We still would definitely come back though- Liz and her place are just that good! N.B.- we ordered dinner from Red's and were pleasantly surprised how good it was and they were very friendly.

My friends and I chose this place because of it's location and picturesque setting. We were welcomed by the owner, Elizabeth, the owner who did everything possible for us to enjoy our stay. The accommodation was impeccably clean and the mountain views from the living room were truly spectacular. We arrived on Friday evening and Eliizabeth kindly made us reservations for a neighboring restaurant, Mountain View Brasserie where we enjoyed superb cuisine. I would highly recommend this property, it is a cozy warm and welcoming place to stay and it's surrounding views superseded our expectations.

After travelling for 2 months across the US, we have experienced some lovely accommodation, but this is the one place that really has everything you could possibly need! We were particularly impressed with how well our children were catered for and the wildlife around the farm was a big hit with children and adults alike. Highly recommended, especially for families and golfers.

We just returned from a couple of days' stay at the Carriage House and wished we could have stayed longer. The house itself is lovely, clean and full of all the modern amenities. Plenty of little touches throughout that shows someone going the extra step to make guests welcome and comfortable. That extends to everything Liz & Mike did at Pine Ridge Farm. Everything looks like a picture postcard and it's so quiet and tranquil. Our young children love animals especially horses, and Liz & Mike do as well. The kids got to see the horses, geese, deer, chipmunks and more -- all with names and stories from Liz. Liz also took us on a 4x4 tour of the farm which the kids got a real kick out of. We cooked dinner on the grill and had Smores under the stars at the outdoor fireplace while the horses watched. There's lot of other things to do in Greene County but we were always happy coming back and spending time at Pine Ridge Farm. We'll certainly be coming back again.

This is the exact vacation I had been looking for all year. My friends and I arrived on a Friday night, and immediately Liz told us of the fireworks that were going on a little down the road. She told us to go THERE first, waited for us to come back, and filled us in with the surrounding attractions. She also gave us chocolate, marshmallows, and graham crackers for s'mores (there's an AWESOME outdoor fireplace that we used pretty much every night we were there). Liz also took us out on her gator through their property, and she was incredibly sweet and hospitable the entire weekend we were there (we got to feed their horses, she gave us a tour of her OWN house, and she made us blueberry muffins). One afternoon, I woke up and she had dropped off directions and movie times for the Coxsackie Drive In theater, just because she knew we had said we wanted to go. The Carriage House, which looks exactly like the pictures, is very well-maintained and clean, and was already stocked with stuff we needed when we arrived. The Giojas do a great job of keeping it in top-notch condition! It's way nicer than my own apartment, and felt more like home too, somehow. My friends and I mainly took advantage of the large backyard they have, but we did manage to get to the drive-in, which had a triple feature, as well as O'Neills (which does have GREAT eggs benedict). It's a BEAUTIFUL space, and she and her husband are the sweetest people, and I will DEFINITELY be referring friends over, as well as bringing my parents and sister along next time.

Myself and several of my friends have just returned from a wonderful weekend at the Carriage House. The price is affordable, the space is great, the house is stacked and the scenery is beautiful. We spent a three-week vacation in the US touring New England, the Berkshires and the Catskills. During our last week we stayed in the Carriage House on Pine Ridge Farm. I cannot but repeat what nearly all former guests have written, namely that it is an excellent location for a couple or a family. We have rented quite a few holiday homes in Europe over the past few years, but we have never had anything like the Carriage House in terms of amenities, cleanliness, friendliness and the beautiful garden and surrounding landcape. In short: I can warmly recommend this rental home.

We spent one week at the Carriage House and had a wonderful experience. The scenery is incredible, so tranquil and beautiful, the house is in great condition supplied with everything one may need while away from home. You will not find a host like Liz very often, her hospitality and willingness to help make our stay the best was really commendable she really puts a lot of effort in making sure her guests leave with a WOW feeling. And that’s how we left. Not to mention the thrill our 2 and a half year old baby had while taking pictures on the beautiful and well trained horses, feeding them carrots straight from his hands, watching the dears come and eat right next to us, watching the turkeys and the geese peacefully coming to Liz’s calls for feed. And should not forget the boat and the pond which were so much fun to take our son on. We highly recommend this place, you will not be disappointed.

We stayed in the Carriage House the Fourth of July Weekend and couldn't have been treated nicer or had a better time. The house was immaculate and well stocked and Elizabeth was very helpful and considerate. The property is gorgeous and very well kept. Elizabeth was so nice to the kids and they loved grooming and feeding the horses. All of her recommendations for things to do were excellent. Looking forward to going back there in the future.

Pine Ridge Farms is a gem and a find! My family and I felt so lucky to discover this magical place. We come to the area often to attend events at a retreat center in the area. We needed lodging for 10 days in June and did not want to spend that long in a sterile hotel. Liz and Mike go out of their way to make you feel comfortable and are eager to share everything their property has to offer. We were so comfortable. It became our home for those 10 days. My only regret is that we were only able to take advantage of a very small fraction of everything Pine Ridge offers because our schedule was so packed. But what we did get to enjoy was absolutely enchanting! The deer were delightful. It became a game for the kids to guess how many there would be in the yard as we pulled up in the evenings. And a huge highlight for the kids was getting to feed and ride the horses. We will be coming back again and again and have already booked our stay for next year. Next time we will make time to take the Gator ride. :-)

We were looking for the perfect place to take our first family vacation (our son is 7 months old) and Pine Ridge Farm was just right! Where to begin...we were greeted by deer, geese, goslings and turkeys upon our arrival which in itself was enough for us (coming from Brooklyn!). The Carriage House was perfectly appointed and comfortable, the beds were great, lots of space in every room, beautiful views of the mountains and farm, and to top it all off, on our last day Liz took us to feed the horses, a real treat for our little boy (and us!) With a high chair and pack-and-play and lots of soft carpeting, it was so easy to accommodate our baby here. This was a lovely mother's day vacation and we will be back without a doubt. Thanks, Liz, for the wonderful getaway!

We just returned from a wonderful weekend at the carriage house. Liz is an extraordinarily warm hostess. She made us feel like we were staying with family. We were two couples with two 3 year olds and the place was absolutely perfect for all our needs. Liz took us for a ride on a deere gator though the trails that the kids really enjoyed. She let us feed the horses carrots and had the kids take a little ride on her very gentle and sweet horse Deja. The deer, turkeys and geese graze the field throughout the day. The house was spotless and fully equipped with everything you might need. We look forward to visiting again and we'll definitely recommend this place to all our friends! Thank you Liz and Michael for your exceptional hospitality.

Liz and Mike are gracious hosts and did all they could to be sure we were happy and well cared for during our stay at their carriage house. The space has everything a couple could want or need for a few days away from home. Quaint country setting with lots of animals around to observe. Off the beaten track and comfortable lodging available in an area with not much to offer in the way of hotels, etc. We were quite happy with our experience and look forward to returning when the weather is a bit more cooperative. I've rented many places upstate, but this one is by far the best one... The place is clean, beautifully done...Liz and Michael are very nice people , who went above and beyond to make us feel at home.. The animals add. a nice touch to the whole place.... myself and my family just returned from a spectacular vacation at the carriage house and was greeted by a wonderful host Elizabeth. The house was very well maintained the area was great our child enjoyed the wildlife and rode of the one of the houses the owners have. all our needs were accommodated for if u plan on taking a vacation and want a great placeto go with a great price tag to go along with it then u can't go wrong with pine ridge you will truly walk away from this place with wonderful memories i gave pine ridge highest rating and would highly recommend pine ridge to anyone and i'm looking forward to having another vacation here in before the end of this year

Such an enjoyable weekend!! Elizabeth is a wonderful host. The Carriage House was clean and has everything you need to relax and enjoy yourself. The trails were great to hike. We found Kaaterskill Waterfalls and climbed an icy, snowy...a bit challenging with winter conditions...but loads of fun for two adults and two teenagers. The kids enjoyed the animals that roam freely on the land and also the horses that live there! Enjoyed making smores on the outdoor fire. You can get as involved as you want or stay to yourselves, its your choice! Either way its worth the trip!
