Luxurious and elegant, three bedroom condo located at the prestigious Destin West Beach and Bay Resort on magnificent Okaloosa Island. Unit has king. queen and 2 twin beds(no bunk beds). Spacious fifth floor condo(1,600 sq feet) is located in the Heron building. This tropical paradise overlooks the Choctawhatchee Bay and pool area. Destin West bayside has landscaped grounds with palm trees, 700 foot lazy river pool, zero entry pool, cascading waterfall and two large hot tubs. Guests have access to all the amenities at Destin West gulfside including an additional pool, hot tubs and fitness center. A pedestrian bridge connecting the bayside to gulfside provides a short and easy access to beach.
Destin West is adjacent to the national seashore, with four secluded miles of pristine sugar white sand beaches. We are within walking distance of the Boardwalk, Gulfarium, convention center and fishing pier.

Master suite has king bed, dual nightstands, 27 inch TV, private bath with whirlpool tub, shower and a double vanity. The second bedroom has a queen bed, dual nightstands, 27 inch TV/DVD and an adjacent full bath. The third bedroom has two twin beds and entertainment armoire with TV/DVD combo. The living room has 27 inch TV/DVD, queen sofa sleeper, loveseat, upholstered chair and entertainment armoire.
Fully equipped kitchen for the discriminating chef includes granite countertops and stainless steel appliances. Spacious kitchen includes bar area with 3 swivel barstools and dining table that seat 6 guests. Travertine tile, plantation shutters, custom draperies, and Caribbean artwork throughout entire unit. Laundry room has full size washer and dryer.

We just got back from staying in your unit at Destin West and wanted you to know it was perfect for us. Mom, Dad, 10 year old daughter and 12 year old son. We each had our own room/tv and space to claim for ourselves. We were blown away by the size of this unit, it's larger than my first house. The pictures do not do the condo justice at all. I have a hard time sleeping when we travel and have to say I slept wonderful in the master bed, mattress was great. The jacuzzi tub was to die for, I want one..... Closet was spacious, kitchen and living areas very large. We loved the lazy river, the waterfall pool at the Ramada and of course the beautiful ocean with chairs waiting for me each day. We rented a pontoon boat one day and saw lots of stingrays, a nurse shark and lots of hermit crabs. Hanging out a crab island was a blast. Billy Bowlegs festival was going on at Ft. Walton and the pirates were fun too. We had dinner at High Tide, Old Bay Steamer 2x (get the no-frills) fed all four of us easily, the little BBQ resturant under the bridge was awesome, the Lighthouse 2X (1/2 price steak and lobster, can't beat that.) Needless to say we didn't go without eating. Love Banana Barts shop and AJ's. Saw the fireworks at the Harbour on Thursday night. We are exhausted in the most wonderful way. Each morning we went to the beach, the waterfall at the Ramada, (had a Pina coloda at the swim up bar), came back to the bayside, had lunch, then floated in the lazy river and cast our net in the bay to see what we could find. Then went out to dinner, shopping, saw the new Pirates movie to get us ready for the festival and came back home to crash in our beautiful accomadations. Thanks so much for sharing it with us. We will be back.....!
