Great house for ski vacation

The house was great. It was much better than the photos on the web site. It is very spacious so our kids had a great time playing around. The dining area is big, so we all (3 families with kids) can sit together. Very close to the Stratton ski resort. The house offered everything we needed for our ski week vacation. The owner was very kind and very easy to work with. We go every year to Stratton for a week and we will definitively try to book the house next year.

The pictures do not do it justice. It has great space and the view of the mountain is awesome (as you are sitting in the hot tub!) The owner lives nearby and available if needed. Our New Year's celebration was well spent there -from watching the fireworks from the house to the easy shuttle service to the mountain. The house was just what we were looking for - comfortable, charming, and the price was right.

Recommended for:Age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children.

We were two families (11 people total) and had a great time at the house. The living room and dining room areas were very cozy and all the family members could enjoy them together. The bedrooms were very well furnished and everthing was ready as promised. Jim was excellent with all the clarifications and instructions. The spa outside is great as well!! Will definitively look to go back to this house again!! Jose

Our family spent a long weeknd here in February for a ski weekend. We LOVED this house. It is extemely comfortable and breathtakingly beautiful. The views of Stratton are a huge bonus. The owner has thought of just about everything to make you feel like you are in your own ski vacation house. We had about 18 inches of snow while we were there and we were plowed out at all times. We didn't have enough time to take advantage of all of the amenities this house has to offer. Our family ages range from 6mos to 60+ and we all loved the space and comfort of this home. This is a true "find" at Stratton!

Recommended for:Families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

What great accommodations - and location - perfect! Our group had a wonderful time and we would be sure to recommend to our friends. The slopes are just minutes away with the shuttle literally at the bottom of driveway. Hottub is great and the kitchen is more than adequate. Cozy living space for a group of 11. Thanks for sharing your home with us!

We rented this house over New Years. It was awesome. Convenient to the slopes at Stratton. The shuttle was so convenient. The house itself was great. Perfect for our family with plenty of room and everything we needed. The owner was a pleasure to work with.

Great Ski House

We spent three nights with our kids and some extended family while skiing at Stratton. This house is warm and spacious, very clean and a great location for skiing at Stratton. The owner was really helpful when one of our cars was stuck in a snow bank. We arrived on the tail end of a blizzard and the roads were lousy. Overall, we would highly recommend this house.

Christmas 2010

Our decision to spend Christmas at Stattton and rent this home was enlightened. This place has a wonderful view of the slopes, a great fireplace, and plenty of room to spread out. The shuttle service to the ski lifts was convenient and reliable. The owner was very accommodating.

Vermont Trip - October 2010

My family of 8 went up to this home Columbus Day weekend. The house is amazing. Great view. Loved the hot tub and sauna! TV in every bedroom which gave everyone a chance to watch their favorite shows especially baseball team playoffs. Why anyone would watch something other than the Yankees I'll never know. Table could accomodate 10 - plus seating at the breakfast bar. Plenty of sleeping space - I think you could put 11 in there with no problem. I would definitely recommend this place to others. The view of Stratton Mountain is breathtaking. Plenty of area for parking cars. Tons of games to play....Would definitely go back again.

I organized a trip here in January '10 and my group of 11 (all adults) had a fantastic time. This house was exactly what we were looking for and accommodated several couples and a handful of guys comfortably. We had a fire going all weekend and enjoyed perfect views of Stratton Mt. ski slopes from the hot tub, and the kitchen was well-stocked with everything we needed to cook for a big group. The cleaning was charged at the actual cost which was fantastic, and the per-night rate was very reasonable. I'd go back to this property in a second and have already recommended it to my friends.
