This million dollar 'lake access' home is located in Reynolds Plantation, a golf and lake resort full of fabulous amenities. There are spectacular views from three large porches, as the house sits on the fifth hole of the National Bluff Golf Course. The National course is one of five golf courses at Reynolds Plantation. It is a lake access home which means that there is an assigned day dock very close by. (The marina rents pontoon boats by the hour.)
The lake house is spacious and tastefully decorated, with brand new furnishings and fixtures. The gourmet kitchen has everything you need, including two snack bar areas, two ovens, coffee maker, microwave, dishwasher, and much more. There is a wet bar in the Terrace level Great Room that has a microwave, dishwasher, ice-maker and sink. See my video of the house (button above picture).
The floor plan is extremely convenient with two bedrooms upstairs and two bedrooms at the Terrace level. Both levels have 'Great Rooms' with new plasma large screen televisions. For your convenience, there is a bathroom for every bedroom, so no need to share. Each bathroom is spacious and the Master bathroom has a jetted tub and separate shower. Throughout the house you will find trey and vaulted ceilings with accent lighting, french doors, hardwood floors, and plantation shutters. A computer with internet and wireless access is available in the den. There is a large dining room with seating for 10, which overlooks the golf course.
Robb Report has selected Reynolds Plantation as the 'Best of the Best Golf Community'. The community far exceeds one's expectations with beautiful views, the expansive lake and the Ritz Carlton amenities. Lake Oconee has 80 miles of shoreline and provides hours of fun canoeing, skiing, tubing, jet-skiing, sight seeing, boating, fishing and cruising. The Ritz Carlton has a fabulous spa which was named one of the Top 5 Spas in the United States by Conde Naste Traveler Magazine.
The Plantation Marina runs a water taxi to the Great Waters country club every half hour. All of the country clubs are open to the general public for dining. The Filet restaurant (just 5 miles away) and Mellow Mushroom restaurant (7 miles) are also great dining options. Subway, Pizza Hut, and McDonalds are close by too.

This October (2010), I was lucky enough to find this house. I had 10 people (5 couples) stay at the amazing house. First and foremost, Lisa was great to work with. She answered all my questions and helped make my weekend fun for everyone that stayed at the house. She called at check-in to verfiy that I was able to find everything. She emailed me afterwards (since I was on my Honeymoon), to verify check-out. The deposit check was promptly sent back to me. As for the house: The view is stunning. The kitchen is well maintained and has all the gadgets you would need. My guests did not cook, but it is a Chef's kitchen. The bedrooms are big and are spread out enough to allow privacy. However, the common areas are close to all bedrooms so everyone could share time with one another. The main gathering place was the back porch. It overlooked the golf course. My guests were thoroughly impressed. After hearing the compliments on the house, I wished I would have stayed there. Maybe next time! In conclusion, I would recommend this house to anyone. Again. Lisa is an excellent host. The house is next to none!!!Recommended for: Girls getaway, families with young children, romantic getaway, age 55+, families with teenagers.

We had four couples who stayed the weekend at this home. We had a wonderful time playing golf on the beautiful courses, shopping in Madison and surrounding areas. We also went on a tour of homes. Breathtaking property in a superb location. Very spacious and beautifully presented. Lisa was extremely helpful in setting up our tee times and helping with restaurants etc. Whilst all restaurants were good, we found the plantation restaurant to be our favourite. Golf courses were all of an excellent standard. Perfect place for relaxing, golfing, boating etc etc. Will definitely go back to this house.Did you find this review helpful? Our family of 8 attended our nephew's wedding at The Reynolds Plantation in May 2008. We were looking for a home that would be perfect for all our needs. This home is absolutely beautiful and very convenient to everything within The Plantation. Lisa was so helpful in every way, setting up golf tee times, giving us special local restaurants to dine at, answering any questions we had. The view of the 5th hole on The National course from the porches was a great pasttime for all of us to watch. We were able to use all the amenities at the Ritz-Carlton, such as the gorgeous infinity pool, dining and the spa. This IS the place to rent while staying in Georgia!Did you find this review helpful? We are still talking about the wonderful time we had at this beautiful home. I had planned this Masters weekend for my husband and family. The property is breathtaking!!! We cooked on the grill,sat on the porch,hung out in the great room...no matter where you are in this home there is a great relaxing feel to it. The experience I had with Lisa was great. She has done a terrific job at making you feel very comfortable from beginning to end!!! We also took advantage of the surrounding golf courses,restaurants,and a spa day at the Ritz Carlton. We had planned a special birthday/family gathering celebration months ago.Everybody, including in-laws, are serious golfers, so we selected Reynolds Plantation. We needed a large home( 8 adults and 2 infants)and picked the Dolan's home. As mentioned in earlier comments, the photos of this home do not do it justice, which is usually the other way around for real estate. We couldn't possibly have been happier,including all of the information about the area provided by Lisa. I agree with others that the pictures can't cover the scope of this wonderful home. Six of us came for four nights and played golf two days and then went to the two practice rounds of the Masters...We were very comfortable and figured our way around Reynolds quicky. The pictures do not do this wonderful home justice. All the bedrooms are very large with thier own bathrooms. The home easily accomidates 8 - 12 people. The back porch is a perfect spot to drink coffee or a glass of wine and watch the Sun set. This is by far the bext home we have rented!! I enjoyed a long weekend with 8 girlfriends that I have known since kindergarten and this was the most perfect place for us to stay. It was spacious, comfortable and relaxing. Had a vacation at this beautiful home with 8 other friends and it was absolutely wonderful. The rooms are all spacious and you never feel crowded.
