WE HAVE BEEN COMING TO SILVER DOLLAR CITY AT CHRISTMAS FOR YEARS, THIS YEAR MY HUSBAND AND I DECIDED TO FORGO THE USUAL HOTEL/CONDO TRIP AND RENT A CABIN. ANY QUESTIONS THAT I HAD ANDREW WAS WILLING TO ANSWER AND IT DIDNT TAKE LONG. WE THROUGHLY ENJOYED THE CABIN, WE HAD SPACE AND YET WE WERE ALL TOGETHER. THE LOOK ON THE KIDS AND GRANDKIDS WAS PRICELESS WHEN THEY PULLED UP. WE WILL BE DOING THIS FROM NOW ON. THANK YOU ANDREW AND FAMILY FOR SHARING YOUR HOME WITH US. WE LOVED IT!!!

House exceeded expectations in the public areas. Does deserve "excellent" but a few minor items keep it from getting that. Ceiling fans and lights are great, quiet, good quality. Unfortunately, the fan in the Living Room has flourescent bulbs, and are quite harsh. Fan is equipped with a remote and dimmer, but bulbs are not dimmable. A very minor item, but mad using the room comfortable a little challenging. Assuming that this is corrected, this is a great house. We used the electric fireplace each day, an appreciated extra feature. By the way, good location, too. LOVED having access to a garage! We had a few older folks, and a rainy day, and loading the cars on dry level surface was a plus. (THose of us NOT in the "older" crowd liked the garage, too.

Our family had a wonderful time in this cabin. It is conveniently located and spaceous. The open family and kitchen areas were especially nice. We would like to have had some kind of door coverings on the areas that had beds that did not have doors. Also, towel racks or hooks in the bathrooms would have been helpful in hanging towels up. Final suggestion is for simple end tables with reading lamps in the living room and downstairs bedroom. Thanks!

We stayed at Andrew's place Friday through Monday while attending our son's wedding. My husband and I, my daughter and granddaughter, my sister and her daughter all stayed there. We loved the house and the woods in the back of the house. Very quite and peaceful, especially early in the morning. Early Monday morning, my husband spotted a couple of deer there. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay!!

Every year we have a girls weekend in the fall and this year we decided to rent a cabin instead of our usual condo. And we were VERY impressed with this wonderful cabin! There were more than enough beds for all six of us to sleep comfortably and the large kitchen/living room/dining room set up was perfect for gathering around and catching up. Andrew was very helpful with last minute questions and he was also timely about responding to emails. We could not have asked for a better place to stay. We definitely plan on coming back to this cabin! Cheers!

We had a wonderful weekend at the lake with our extended family. There were 10 of us, including 4 children, and we had plenty of room. The house was very comfortable. We saw deer in the yard frequently and enjoyed the wrap around deck in the evening once the kids were asleep. Although this house is not on the water, Indian Point Marina is very close. We were able to rent a slip and leave our boat there. Then we just made the quick drive to the marina whenever we wanted to boat. We even had dinner our first night at the Floating Cafe. Andrew was very responsive with any question or request we had.

The owner was great to work with! Location if perfect if going to Silver Dollar City, it's just down the road. We stayed in the winter and think it would be even better during the summer months. Plenty of space too!

It was just great to have a place to welcome family from MO, TX, OK, and NM! Everyone loved the proximity to the lake for fishing, boating, and swimming. We slept anywhere from 11 to 15 people. Of course several were kiddos and didn't mind sleeping on the couch and blow-up mattress. We couldn't have asked for a better place to stay and we hope to find this beautiful home available when we plan our next get-together! If I would recommend anything, it would be bars for hanging clothes. This was the ONLY thing we found lacking that we could have used. Trying to decide? You'll love this place.

We spent a peaceful week here. There was lots of space for everyone - so much better than being on top of each other in a hotel room. It was wonderful to get up, fix a cup of coffee and sit on the back porch listening to locusts and waiting on the deer to show up. We spent two days at Silver Dollar City and it was perfect to not have to go far after a long day there. Spent another day on the lake and again, it was very convenient to be at the marina in just a few minutes. We were close to the 76 "strip" when we wanted to go there, but we had a little slice of heaven at the house. So peaceful and relaxing! The girls are already planning on coming back to the same place next year. Don't forget to bring green apples to feed the deer!
