  We had a great stay. The cabin was at least as nice as the pictures! Plenty of room and very clean. The garage to park in was a huge bonus. Would keep the car cool in the summer and warm in the winter (not to mention no loading the car in the rain!). Andrew was great to deal with. Refreshing to work with someone that seems to do business the old-fashioned way based on common sense and trust. HIghly recommended- you won't be sorry!

  We are currently staying at the house and have to say it was pretty perfect for our family. If our party was any larger, I don't know that anybody would appreciate the loft. If anybody is watching television downstairs, the sound travels right up that wood ceiling. But we are only 3 adults and a toddler. The "closet" room is perfect for the toddler. He can't get past us if he wakes up at night. The wildlife was awesome, just beware that some of the critters can come close to the house. Wifi was "iffy" at best and it was kind of disconcerting that we there weren't any fire extinguishers or emergency lights. Maybe they aren't required by state law in Missouri. Also whoever was the carpenter that hung the inside doors needs to go back to school. The upstairs bedroom and bathroom doors need to be taken down and rehung so you don't get trapped between them. LOL. But we are having fun, the house is clean and well-appointed. Would definitely come back and recommend to others.

  We stayed here for a weekend getaway to Branson and could not have been happier. The house is in a great location that is far enough to get away from the crowds, yet close enough it is not a pain. Living room was great for a family gathering area and the wifi was super fast. Kitchen was well stocked and the unit was CLEAN. I might also add the house is only about 100 yards or so from the lake and had a nice view from the upstairs bedroom. If you are staying in Branson, this is your place.

  We thoroughly enjoyed our week at Indian Point. Andrew was very professional and easy to work with. He explained the sleeping appointments and we found the cabin to be both clean and well stocked. We had eight adults and were very comfortable. We enjoyed the nightly visit from the small herd of deer. We would definitely recommend this cabin and would stay again if vacationing in the area. Thank you Andrew for sharing your cabin with us.

  Accurate description, owner helpful. Unfortunately, air conditioner kept freezing up. We were notified this might happen AFTER we had already paid for our stay. Also, a couple that were staying with us complained of bites after sleeping in the downstairs bedroom.

  Recommended for: Sightseeing.

  Owner response: We have had problems with the AC from past guests, but only when it was very hot outside (over 100 degrees) and the guests turned the AC way down (below ~70 degrees.) However this was not the case with this guest. I got a service man out to the cabin within two hours of being notified of the problem and he indicated the AC was cooling and functioning properly. So I'm really not sure what to say or what we could have done differently, but I'm very sorry that it happened. We have received no other complaints of bugs in the house, and we have an exterminator come through regularly. The cabin is close to the woods, so bug bites are definitely a possibility. But we have seen no indication that there is a problem inside with bugs. I am going to have the exterminator make an extra trip this week in response to this review.

  Andrew was very easy to work with and extremely prompt at getting back to me with any questions that we had before & during our stay. We had some expectations that we feel need to get cleared up for the next guests with sleeping arrangements. The listing states 3 bedrooms + other. This should really read 2 bedrooms + other due to the 3rd bedroom being tucked away in the loft area with no door, and a large blind to create privacy. There was no way to eliminate any noise making it difficult for our guests to rest comfortably throughout the week. The listing also states that the pullout is a Queen size mattress, felt more like a full size bed and would recommend a new mattress as this one is worn down. There were two inflatable’s, both were tried the first night and both had holes in them making them no use to us for the week when it would have helped accommodate our group of 13. I would suggest that the person helping maintain the place take a moment to check little things like this during the clean up process to ensure that the next guests won't be disappointed. We were told about the rock beach that we could walk to as well as a "sand beach" about a mile away. This is NOT a sand beach, it really consisted of rocks and a concrete ramp. Bringing sand toys for the kids would be a waste of your time. The front porch is beautiful and we enjoyed seeing the deer graze the back yard. If you plan to watch any activity on the water though this is not the house for you. You can see the lake but in the summer with the tree's only a small portion of the lake is viewable. I would recommend this house for an all women's retreat or a one family trip as privacy is not as important but having 13 people and 4 different families makes the living arrangements much more difficult considering you really only have 2 bedrooms with a door. Everything else is open space.

  Recommended for: Girls getaway.

  Owner response: I agree that 13 people is a bit large for our cabin! I'm always sure to go through all of the sleeping arrangements before any booking is complete. We have already replaced the air mattress in the loft. Had I been notified of this issue I could have had it fixed immediately, very sorry about that!

  the cabin was awesome. we had 7 adults and 4 small children and we had plenty of room. it was a beautiful cabin away from everything and very quiet. our only regret is that we didn't spend enough time enjoying the cabin. we brought our grown kids and their children and we ran doing things constantly. next time we will stay a couple days longer and spend 1 or 2 days just doing things around the cabin. thanks andrew, you have an amqzing place!!!

  We had a great time and the cabin we rented was wonderful. Beautifully furnished and so comfortable. Cant wait to take our children back with us next time. Would definately rate our cabin as 10 out of 10. Owner was so personable and willing to help at any given time.
