We had a fabulous time in Ko Olina. The location is great if you've traveled to Hawaii and would like to avoid the tourists and crowded beaches in Honolulu. The side-by-side condos were perfect for our large group and very convenient. Everything was clean and well-maintained. Dan, the owner, was very easy to work with and helpful with answering all our questions. The area was fantastic with a golf course, beautiful beaches, and right next to one of the best luaus, Paradise Cove. There is also Target and Costco close by for very convenient shopping.

Great stay at Ko'Olina

Rented both villas in June 2011. Very comfortable and clean units and don't let the pictures fool you - these villas were spacious. Lots of extras - boogie boards, umbrellas, foldout chairs, snorkel gear, coolers, DVDs - there was even extra soaps, shampoos, conditioners, etc., probably from previous renters. Ko'Olina Lagoons are the best, but lagoons 1, 2 and 3 were hard to find parking cuz it seemed like there was always some kind of event. Always found parking at Lagoon4, though. New market is open now down the street which makes it more convenient. It's a sister ABC store so save your receipts to get free gift. Dan the owner was easy to work with. Highly recommend staying here!

Koolina Villas

We rented both Villas which were well equipped,comfortable and a great value! They are located in a quiet community near two prestigous resorts and the most beautiful beaches on Oahu. Dan (owner) was amazing to work with - very professional, responsive and accommodating. Two thumbs up!

The villa was clean, well maintained - we had more than enough towels/linens for our family of 5. Dan also has beach equipment available for use: boogie boards, lawn chairs, beach mats. etc. The area is quiet and relaxing, so much better than busy Waikiki. The lagoons are a 1 minute drive away, or you can choose to walk. If you're carrying equipment and have kids in tow, I would drive. There are many stores and shopping areas within a 5 minute drive from here: Costco, Target, K-Mart, Safeway to name a few. There is even a small shopping center within the gated area that includes a convenience store a few restaurants. It was wonderful working with Dan, he was always quick to respond to me via email. He even provided recommendations on restaurants and activities. Thank you Dan, we had a wonderful time.

Ko Olina Hillside

Two families of four (4 adults, 4 teenagers in total) staying in the villa and we all enjoyed ourselves. Everybody had enough room and having the 2 full bathrooms was very nice. All utensils and pots/pans on hand for cooking supper if you don't want to eat out. Plenty of towels and linens on hand as well. Dan provided detailed instructions for the villa and also restaurant recommendations. Very nice pool area - we used the pool and hot tub almost daily. There are also three large Weber BBQs at the pool area so we also had a few barbecues. Lagoons are very nice and good for the smaller kids as the breakwaters reduce the size of the waves. It is about a 15 minute walk or short drive to the lagoons but note that parking can be hard to come by at the lagoons as they are very popular.

Our family of 10 (6 adults, 2 six-year olds and 2 two-year olds) stayed in Villas 6 and 7. They were perfect for us. They gave everyone the privacy they wanted but allowed us to spend time all together. The pool is literally steps away and the lovely lagoons are a long walk or a two minute drive. We would come back anytime.

We loved the time we spent in Ko Olina. From the breathtaking lagoons, to the pristine golf course greens, to the tree-lined roads—the resort is beautiful. Dan’s villa worked wonderfully for our family. We enjoyed the peaceful, picturesque location and the many amenities of the villa itself. We would recommend it to anyone visiting Oahu.

I would recommend this condo to anyone wishing to visit Oahu. It is located in an area that allows easy access to the beaches located on the west, east and North shores, as well as the shopping malls located in various places. The KoOlina area is a lovely gated community, with a nice golf course, marina and 4 wonderful lagoons that are less than 3 minute drive from the condo. The condo's pool area is very close to the condo, well maintained, and pleasant place to spend an afternoon. My grandchildren had a very good time playing in the pool as well as the lagoons. The condo is fairly well equipped with everything you need, including pool and beach toys.

We have enjoyed staying in Ko Olina so much that this is our second time renting from Dan. The thing that makes it even better is renting from Dan, because he makes it hassle free. The unit is clean, close to the pool, and with in walking distance to the beach. We would recommend his unit and with his professionalism on how he runs his unit, to everyone. Ko Olina is one of the most beautiful places on earth and staying in this unit only makes perfect.

We had an excellent experience at KoOlina Hillside Villa. The place was comfortable, safe and secure. The beds were comfortable and there was adequate linen. Dan provided a lot of information about places to go on Oahu. No matter where we went on the island, everyone knew of KoOlina and spoke highly of the complex.

My family had a great time at the Ko Olina condos. The condos had all the ammenties that one could think of (kitchen supplies, dishwashing liquid, beach toys, extra sheets, etc.) The condos were clean, spacious, quiet, very close to the pool/bbq, close to the Ko Olina lagoons, and in an absolutely quiet area. I could not have asked for anything more. Because my family was staying at the condos for my wedding, I wanted them to feel like they were at home and Dan made sure that was the case. He also offered us the condos for an extra few days because no one was occupying the facility at the time of check in. He went above and beyond in trying to accomdate my families needs. Thank you!!! We rented both of the side-by-side villas in Ko Olina and had an absolutely wonderful time. The villas were more than comfortable with everything we needed and in reasonable proximity to all of the wonderful Ko Olina facilities. The owner/landlord was wonderful to deal with as well. There were 11 of us in the two villas, including a 15 mo. old and a great time was had by all. We'll be back.

Dan was a pleasure to deal with. Communication was easy and timely and the accommodations were as described. This was my first vacation home rental and I would have no problem renting from Dan again. We have a 2 and 3 year old so it was just like being at home for us. The entire place was clean and modern. While the pool is very close by, the lagoons and beach were best driven to (very short drive) by us as we have small kids and all the toys that go with them. We wanted to have a car rental anyways to explore the island so driving to the beach was a non-issue for us. While you could walk to the beach, our family found it best to drive. What works for you would dependent upon you needs. Overall, we were very satisfied with the location, cleanliness, surrounding facilities and dealing personally with Dan.

We really enjoyed our stay at this villa. The beach area is beautiful,we did'nt go to any other beaches. It is more relaxed here close to shopping,restaurants but not crowded. The villa was nice I used the washer and dryer. The pool was great we also used the bbq one day. My kids are 20 and 25 we even celebrated the birthday of my daughter their. The fee for cleaning is less expensive on this one also the deposit. I got the deposit back in 10 days. I have only good things to say. It was a great vacation.

I rented this town house for a small group of friends and myself as we came to town for a wedding. The resort is very nice, and the townhome is quite comfortable. The owners were very easy to work with. I would definately recommend this townhome if you are looking to come to Hawaii and relax. There is not a lot to do nearby in terms of nightlife so you will have to drive to Honolulu, but for kicking back and enjoying the sun it is very nice. It was great to have a full kitchen with nearby bbqs. I didn't get a chance to golf, but the course looked amazing, and I would love to play a round or two in the future. It's a nice place.

The villa far exceeded our expectations...the amenities were perfect! It was an enjoyable trip and convenient to everything we did. We wouldn't go back to Oahu unless we knew we could stay there again. Our trip was pulled together at the last minute, an inquiry on the property made, Daniel responded immediately and we signed a contract within days. Our plans came together, our stay was fantastic, and we were down the street from our daughter and son-in-law...it was ideal.

This was a beautiful unit in a very quiet and out of the busy-ness area. We were happy to find sharp knives in the kitchen, and many conveniences (i.e., flashlight in the nightstand, a nice touch). The only thing we missed was a place in the garage to hang our wet bathing suits and towels.

Dan(the owner) is very accomadating. His condo in Ko Olina is brand new, very comfortable beds, clean, and well appointed. It is located in a quiet neighborhood. The poolside Barbeques are beautiful Weber Gas Grills. A wonderful spot to cook and enjoy a cool dip. You will enjoy your time in Hawaii if you stay here.
