We have traveled extensively in the Caribbean and over time have come up with a list of "must haves" that make a beach vacation restful and fun. Here's how Anguilla meets our needs:
1. EASY TO REACH/GET AROUND. Convenient flight connections from The U.S. and Europe. In Anguilla its easy to rent a car (recommended) and drive on reasonable roads! Taxis are available too.
2. DISTINCT PERSONALITY. Anguilla has a very special atmosphere. With a multitude of uncrowded beaches, a town center that maintains an easy Caribbean temperament, the only thing nicer is encountering friendly, helpful Anguillans. Visit Anguilla to get away from the buzz and grind of everyday life. Be entertained by skittering crabs, birds diving for their next meal. The hardest thing you have to do is get some SPF 30 on your back. No pesky peddlers, noisy bar scenes or gaudy visuals to spoil you cool.
3. ACCESSIBLE ACTIVITIES. Go beach combing, snorkeling, scuba, golf, or fish. The thing is, with so many activities and dining options scattered around the island, our spacious Condo is centrally located to easily get you anywhere on the island.
Note to kids: Build sand castles, collect beautiful shells, learn to snorkel in gentle waters, swim, splash and play. No crowded beaches means you can run free without being told, "Hush, you're bothering me".
Feel like a do-nothing day? Put up your feet up and rest on one of our two generous sized balconies overlooking the blue Caribbean. You will gaze upon views of St. Maarten, St. Kitts, and St. Barths out in the distance. Sit by the pool or enjoy the shade of the gazebo in the garden.
Care to live life in the fast lane? Spend a day in St. Maarten, full of shops and restaurants and clubs - just a ferry ride away.
4. GREAT FOOD. Dine in or dine out Anguilla has a variety of options. Choose from delicious roadside roti and barbecue stands, burgers and pizza, casual beach bars serving fresh fish and sophisticated restaurants serving international fare. There's even a fabulous french Bakery and cafe! Want to eat in? Fire up the grill. If cooking is your thing you will enjoy using our well-equipped kitchen. Grocery stores are very well stocked and farms stands abound!
5. PERKS INCLUDED. There is a friendly manager, on-site or a phone-call away, available to answer questions, suggest restaurants, help arrange activities, and make your stay pleasant and trouble-free. Daily maid service means you come home to a clean, serene apartment after a day of fun in the sun! Bring your laptop if you wish. Our condo is hooked up.

My fiancee and I stayed here for 5 nights in March of 2011 and have fallen in love with Anguilla. The Farrington is a great place to stay and is close to all activities on the island. Beaches, restaurants, etc are all a short drive away, but the best part of our vacation was unwinding in the Caribbean sunshine and coming home to the equipped kitchen and spacious condo where we spend most of our nights. The view from both balconies is amazing and the property manager Ambrose is very helpful and friendly. Thanks for a great vacation!

Enjoyed our first stay so much we decided we would do the same thing next year. Everything was as advertised on the VBRO site. Great central location on the island. Spacious and comfortable for our family of four. Kids loved having their own TV in their bedroom. Two balconies was fantastic. Great water view...one morning we watched whales in the distance. Kids enjoyed the pool too! Everybody on the property was very nice! Looking forward to seeing Ambrose, Paula and Shirley next year! Enjoyed the beaches and all the food in various restaurants. Tops was Blanchards for a special evening. Loved the Ferryboat Inn! Favorite beach was East Shoal. Look for Ray de Man for umbrella rental and don't forget to go out with Junior on a snorkeling trip!!

Ocean Terrace is a super vacation rental on fabulous Island of Anguilla. The condo is spacious, clean, really nicely appointed with wonderful views and is a perfect destination for that 'Get Away from it all' vacation. We had an amazing week of rest and relaxation, enjoying the exquisite beaches of Anguilla, snorkelling, eating fresh seafood at a great selection of restaurants and we definitely plan a return visit. The owners were extremely helpful and the condo Manager was charming and helpful whilst we were at ocean Terrace. I would highly recommend the accomodatation and the Island.

Superb value. Very spacious and nicely appointed villa. Wonderful balcony views of the ocean. Daily housekeeping, on site fitness room and attentive staff make this a wonderful place to return to at the end of the day. The island has abundant beaches, is fit for foodies and has a wonderful golf course. If you choose Anguilla, I'd also recommend Farrington.

I visited Ocean Terrace in Anguilla and it exceeded all my expectations. The accommodations were spotless. The location was convenient to everything on the island especially the french pastry shop. The owners were very responsive and easy to work with. I could not have had a better vacation!

Earlier this year we spent a week on Anguilla and found everything just as the owner described. Beautiful beaches, very friendly people and a variety of good restaurants. Ocean Terrace is in a great location, close to everything but on a quiet street. The condo is spacious and comfortable and has splendid ocean views from the two balconies. The on site manager was very friendly and always ready to help with information, making reservations etc. If you look for a beautiful place in a more private setting this is the perfect choice.

We traveled to Anguilla last March and completely fell in love with the island. The condo was great housing for the week--it's really spacious, comfortable and clean. It's a wonderful location if you're looking for a little privacy but still want to be within a few miles of some great beaches. The on- site manager is very hospitable-- he was always happy to recommend restaurants, the best beaches depending on the day's weather and even grilled up some ribs for us and gave us a hefty bottle of homemade rum punch. If you're in search of a Caribbean getaway without other tourists getting in your way, I would definitely recommend Ocean Terrace Condos!
