SugarTop Resort sits on the Top of Sugar Mountain and your unit will be on the 9th floor of this ten-story high-rise, at an elevation of 5282 Feet. You will be a mile high overlooking the Ski Slopes and behold the Breathtaking Views of distant mountain ranges and the Banner Elk area down below from your large private balcony. This unit is very highly requested because of its views versus the views from the units on the lower floors.
Your Condominium has 2 Large Bedrooms each with a Queen-Size Bed. The Master Bedroom has a wall mounted HDTV for your enjoyment.
There are 2 Full Baths with Tub and Shower.
The Kitchen is Fully Equipped with Dishwasher, Microwave, and Garbage Disposal. All cooking utensils are provided.
There is a separate Dining Room, which joins with the Family Room.
You can see the mountain views from almost all locations within the unit.
In the Family Room there is a Wood Burning Fireplace, Stereo, Flat Screen TV (76 channel cable), DVD player with surround sound, and over 400 Movies on DVD for you to choose from. You will have a high café style table with chairs at the window to enjoy the unbelievable view while having your morning coffee.
The unit is tastefully decorated and has been furnished with many antiques. You will have a large private balcony to enjoy the views and take in the fabulous sunsets.

We arrived late at night (around 11:00) and security was very helpful with directions. You do have to unload at the building then drive back down to park, however the shuttle never took more than a few minutes to get us. The front desk was easy to work with we had our key in hand in less than a minute. The condo was very comfortable and fit 6 of us very easily. There is a food lion very close to the property and it was easy to get our shopping done there and cook our meals in the unit. The building has an awesome sauna, steam room, pool, and two very nice hot tubs. For skiing purposes, I do recommend that you drive over to Sugar Mountain. The bus to drop us off at the mountain took 45 minutes to pick us up after telling us it would be 20 minutes. However, this has nothing to do with the property. Kim gives you very easy to follow directions on how to get through security and how to navigate your stay. From online payment to check out, this was a very easy process. I will use this unit again next ski season.Recommended for: Families with teenagers, age 55+, people with disabilities, sightseeing, romantic getaway, families with young children, adventure seekers.
