This is the CLOSEST cabin to Teton Pass in all of Teton Valley. You get proximity to Jackson Hole with a bargain rate and escape from the maddening crowds! It is surrounded by two creeks (Moose Creek and Trail Creek), one of which goes through the property. Trail Creek Pond is about one-quarter mile away, and is a great place for a picnic, swimming, and fishing! Trout fish right from home! Hike into first class National Forest ground from your front door! Nordic or Cross Country ski. Or, go to Grand Targhee/Snow King or Jackson Hole Ski Resort. The cabin is equidistant from all of these.
Relax in this first class home complete with quality rustic Western furnishings. The bedrooms are comfortable with all new beds and bedding. The Master Bedroom has a King-size, and the other two bedrooms each have a Queen-sized bed. The two comfortable futons each make out into a queen sized bed.
Enjoy the awesome rock fireplace built by the premier mason in Teton Valley. Relax in the living room and enjoy this fireplace after a great vacation day, and you'll never want to leave!
The bathrooms are sparkling clean, and the common areas are cozy and welcoming. The kitchen is fully stocked with cooking utensils and pots and pans, and comes with a full sized range/stove, microwave, dishwasher, refrigerator etc.
The adjacent dining area is roomy for your family or friends. Just bring the food!

If you must surf or work fast on the computer, there is high speed/computers available at the local library or the two or three internet cafes available locally, or lots of wifi also in Jackson. :)
There are miles and miles of trails surrounding this cabin. The Wyoming border is only about two miles away. Wildflowers are everywhere in the summer months. You can hike right into Grand Teton National Park if you are a serious hiker/horsebackrider. Enjoy fine dining a few miles away--either in Victor, Idaho, or Jackson, Wyoming!
In the winter, you can cross country ski, snowshoe, or even snowmachine right out your front door onto miles of open country.
If you are thinking of a summer vacation, this cabin is the perfect spot. It is close to everything, with a "in the woods" feel. Yet, it's close enough to the main roads to be convenient.
Head out your front door to hike in the National Forest next door, or horseback ride with our friends from Dry
Ridge Outfitters nearby or Beard Mountain Outfitters. My family purchased this cabin to be close to everything the Tetons offers...without the crowds of Jackson. We love hiking the area around the cabin and fishing in the streams. Skiing is a big plus...Grand Targhee has gotten 600" of powder during one ski year..and always gets at least 450"...A great family oriented Valley to visit.

Dear Janine, WE had a great time at the Moose Creek Cabin. The home is wonderfully decorated and we saw a bobcat, deer, and elk nearby. Thanks for your consideration in letting us stay the extra night with all of our car problems!

The Moose Creek Cabin is gorgeous and we had a great time during our five night stay in July 2009. We saw a bobcat two miles from the cabin and also saw a lot of elk, bison, etc. even river otters during our national park visits. Janine had the cabin well-stocked (and decorated) and it had plenty of room for our group of 7. If there was one downside it was that the fireplace wasn't working (we tried with our fresh batteries) but all in all, it's a great selection and only a half hour from Jackson.
Owner response:We suggested at the time changing the batteries in the remote with the ones provided at the cabin. Guests were sure this wasn't the issue. When the housekeeper came, she changed the batteries and it worked. :) We did enjoy your stay very much. thanks for coming!

This cabin was the perfect vacation cabin for 2 families, including small children. There is easy access to hiking activities, and the Tetons. Yellowstone is also a few hour drive away. We felt very at home with the accommodations, and really enjoyed our stay.

We had a wonderful time in this cabin. The views and surroundings were beautiful even on the cloudy days. We hiked around the area as well as visited the Tetons and Yellowstone. It's in a very nice town of Victor as well, with a nice grocery store and brewery close by. The cabin itself is really nice and accommodated us in our very specific needs. We'll easy recommend this to anyone.

Our stay at Moose Creek cabin was one of the highlights of our trip. The cabin itself was spacious, well-designed, very clean and well-maintained, and supplied with all we needed. The location was very convenient, with a quick jump onto WY22/ID33 to Jackson and Victor. As important as anything was the excellent hospitality shown by Janine, as she went out of her way to be accommodating and flexible. We're already looking forward to returning as soon as possible. We just returned from a fabulous vacation in the Teton Valley, what made it a completely satisfying adventure was our stay at the Moose Creek Cabin! It was an excellent base to stay to tour all areas of the Tetons, Jackson Hole, Yellowstone, the Swan Valley. We were very comfortable in our cabin, plenty of room for the 4 of us and there was ample room for many more. Our teenager's enjoyed their own space downstairs complete with large screen tv, their own bath, their own sliding door to the beautiful views of the mountains, we had our space upstairs, which we took full advantage of with a cozy living room that offered up a nice fire in the evenings, a front porch that we enjoyed in the mornings, taking in the sounds of birds and the creek while enjoying cool air! We cooked quite a few meals in our well furnished cabin, we enoyed the local trout and grilled some excellent steaks on the new grill on the deck, the restaurants are great in the Teton Valley, but our home cooked meals were pretty hard to beat! We are already booking our next trip to the Moose Creek and cannot wait until we can explore the area again and then come back to a home away from home, the Moose Creek Cabin, we slept like the logs that helped to build that cabin! Our Cowboy hats are off to you Janine, you are an excellent host, the recommendations that are provided in the cabin saved us time and organzational issues, we enjoyed the rodeo, restaurants and even some great fishing spots, but getting to talk to you and know you makes the experience very easy and very personable, this helped to make the whole vacation a great experience! Great front porch with view and creek running next to it, very clean and comfortable bedrooms and common areas, and best of all was the setting, which was close to the road for exploring the area, and had great views and access to hiking trails right outside the door. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and plan to return.

Here is a heartfelt thank you to both the owners and the Victor based property manager. We absolutely loved the layout and very tastefully decorated cabin and its strategic location right between both sides of Teton path. A wonderful and much appreciated added value for the out-of-town visitor is the very customer oriented local assistance that makes one feel at home upon arrival.
