Unforgetable Ski Adventure!

The condo was everything we had hoped for and more! The shuttle bus stop was directly across the street from the condo. When we were ready to go skiing, we would wait at the window to see the bus come around the corner. That was our cue to hustle downstairs to meet the bus. After a hard day of skiing, the hot tub was a real plus! The condo was well stocked with kitchen equipment. Although it was near to restaurants, we chose to eat our meals at the condo. It was just too cozy to even think about going out. We have only been home for one day and have already recommended it to a number of friends.Recommended for: Tourists without a car, families with teenagers, adventure seekers, age 55+, romantic getaway, girls getaway, families with young children.

We have stayed here several times over the last 10 years. It is large & comfortable & does not feel cramped, even with 6 people in it. There is a well stocked kitchen. The furniture & the entertainment systems are modern & stay updated. The beds are comfortable. Gas fire places in the living room and master bedroom are really nice. Shuttles stop in front of the condo, are frequent & only a couple of minutes to the base area. There is a ski rental place and a friendly bar next door. We look forward to coming back.Recommended for: Tourists without a car, families with teenagers, adventure seekers, age 55+, romantic getaway, girls getaway, sightseeing, families with young children.

A Truly Lovely Place
A Truly Lovely Place

This is truly a lovely place. We've rented it three times now, and plan to return again as soon as we can. Each time the owners have been very pleasant to deal with. It is immaculate, and everything has always worked. The photos are helpful and accurate, but really don't do it justice. We had no idea it would be as big as it is. The main floor is spacious, convenient, filled with new, comfortable, stylish furnishings, and has lovely views of the nearby woods and stream as well as the ski resort in the distance. The kitchen is very well-equipped with plenty of tableware, utensils, pots, and pans; the appliances are all user-friendly and in excellent condition. The second floor is nothing less than spectacular -- huge master bedroom with its own fireplace, huge master bath with hot tub, plenty of closet space, and the same terrific view of the resort. There are three wide screen TVs: one in each bedroom and in the living room. It also has two covered decks, one on each floor, if the weather is mild. The free shuttle bus stop really is right across the street; it's a 4-minute ride at most to the drop-off at the base. If you just missed the bus and don't want to wait even a few minutes for the next one, you can easily walk to the base in less than 15 minutes (the shuttle driver will usually stop to pick you up on the way). And there's a friendly, local bar and restaurant right next to the condo parking lot -- we hope they're still open this year. We've had some delicious meals there, and some great happy hours. There are two ski rental shops adjacent to the building if you don't want to rent at the base. Another bonus: this distinctive building is one of the few in Old Town that is easy to identify while riding up Zephyr lift.Recommended for: Families with teenagers, age 55+, families with young children.

We knew the place was going to be big and wonderful from the pics and description, but we had absolutely NO idea how wonderful the place really was going to be! Plenty of room for a big family and plenty of space for privacy! The downstairs area all by itself was worth the price we paid for it -- big entry and kitchen areas, plenty of cooking space, large fridge, downstairs bedroom and bath, huge living and eating area with plenty of space to just kick back and enjoy the tv or the views while warming up to the auto-fireplace. Oh, and the laundry area, too, was just the thing to make convenient. Then the upstairs area; wow! -- ANOTHER fireplace, big bed, more views, full private hot tub, big bathroom -- we were completely blown away. The place was so nice we decided to take a break in the middle of one of the days to warm up and eat lunch there rather than on the mountain. Perfect. The owners, as well, were so easy to work with when it came to questions and special considerations. Their genuine care for us was the final touch on a wonderful stay. Of course it's not hard to be gracious owners when you have such a terrific place across the street from a handy bus stop that will deposit you at the mountain base in just a few minutes. We hope to be back soon. In fact, we'd love to just live there! Stay; you'll love it.Recommended for: Tourists without a car, families with teenagers, families with young children.
