This Brand New 2006 custom built home is ALMOST OCEANFRONT, and has been tastefully decorated to give you a comfortable and relaxing vacation experience as you enjoy the views of waves, surf and sand from our amazing oceanside window-filled great room. You will be awestruck by 'Sunrays' ocean views! This is not just a claim...we actually have INCREDIBLE 180 OCEAN VIEWS!!
This superior home is 2700 square feet of elegance on First Row Road's End in Lincoln City, Oregon. It is a beautiful home showcased by breathtaking 180 degree views from wall-to-wall oceanfront windows. You will literally be steps away from the beach, as our home is kitty-corner to beach front Wayside State Park.
'Sunrays' was designed to meet guests' every need, from our open floor plan with huge great room and attached dining room (with a table that seats 14), to our huge bedrooms, completely stocked kitchen, separate game/recreation room for the kids downstairs (after all, adults do need time alone!), oversized hot tub, and the most comfortable furniture you will ever sink into in a beach home. All furnishings are completely brand new down to the linens.
'Sunrays' is an extremely family friendly vacation get away home. Guests will love the incredible array of amenities set-up to please adults and kids as well. 'Sunrays' offers an amazing selection of books, movies and board games catered to adults and kids alike. Everyone will love the 81 game arcade machine ( no quarters required ), PSII, GameCube or a challenging game of ping-pong. And with a HUGE big-screen TV, in the downstairs recreation room, games take on a whole new level of excitement. 'Sunrays' electronic equipment will amaze you with each bedroom having its own 27 inch TV/DVD/VCR!
'Sunrays' will fit all your needs with five full-sized bedrooms, open Great room with adjoining dining, fully equipped kitchen (that is open to the dining/Great room), 3 1/2 bathrooms, family recreation room, and two large decks (one with the hot tub looking out on the ocean with wind protected walls!) All linens provided. Parking for seven vehicles. Check-in time 4:00 p.m. and check-out time is 11:00 a.m.
Two upstairs bedrooms: one executive master suite with a king sized bed and master bath. The master bath has a two (2) person jetted garden tub and separate shower, one master suite with a king sized bed and a full size futon. Both have wonderful bay window sitting benches with ocean views.
There is another upstairs full bath with tub/shower, fully equipped kitchen with stainless steel appliances and granite countertops (with a bar that seats three), adjoining dining room with HUGE table for seating up to 14, and adjoining Great room with a gas fireplace, TV/DVD/VCR, stereo, built-in library with a sitting area and full ocean-front wall-to-wall windows.
Downstairs has three bedrooms; two bedrooms have a queen bed and a bunk bed. The bunk has lower full size for extra sleeping space. One of these bedrooms also has a sliding door for private access to the hot tub. The third bedroom has a king bed. There are two bathrooms downstairs, one full bath (with tub/shower) and one half bath off of the recreation room. All beds have Simmons Beautyrest pillowtop mattresses (even the twin bunks!)
The family recreation room has an alcove built-in library with a queen futon sleeper, and adjoining large open room with a queen sofa sleeper and love seat, HUGE TV/DVD/VCR, GameCube and Playstation 2. This room also has an awesome, no-coin required, 81 game arcade machine. Family recreation room sleeps four and has a slider door with access to the hot tub.
'Sunrays' has parking for 6-7 vehicles (depending on vehicle size.) There is parking for at least 4 vehicles behind the house and another 2 or 3 in front.
Beach access is through the Wayside State Park, which is located across the street and three houses south (approximately 150 feet!) Super close..we truly are located in the perfect spot!!

We held our family reunion at Sunrays and Moonbeams this summer and were absolutely thrilled with our superior accommodations! Both homes were extremely comfortable, quiet and professionally decorated with absolutely no kitsch! The owners of these two homes have gone to great lengths to supply them with state of the art appliances, electronics and furniture. We were amazed with all of the attention to detail throughout the homes from the fully stocked game rooms to the kitchens that chefs dream of. We comfortably housed 30+ people for 5 days and never ran out of things to do while we were there. Our entire family unanimously agreed that Moonbeams and Sunrays were the finest vacation homes we have ever stayed in and they are well worth the money to rent! Had a wonderful pre-Christmas vacation with extended family. House was very comfortable and well equipped. Fixed a big Christmas dinner and had plenty of room for everyone. The kids played and enjoyed themselves downstairs while grownups enjoyed the upstairs making it very relaxing for everyone. Great view of Oregon coast weather, hail, sun, rainbows, lightning we had it all. Very comfortable beds and quiet neighborhood made for great sleep too!Recommended for: Sightseeing, girls getaway, families with young children, adventure seekers, romantic getaway, age 55+, families with teenagers.

Everything was great and exactly the way the owner described. It is a beautiful home. We were lucky to have sun all weekend and the Lincoln City kite festival was an added benefit. Great kit flying, beach time, golf, a little gambling at the casino, and lots of fun family time at the house and in the hot tub. We would highly recommend this home for your needs. Loved the master bedroom and bath.Recommended for: Sightseeing, tourists without a car, girls getaway, families with young children, adventure seekers, romantic getaway, age 55+, families with teenagers.

Thank you so much for the use of your beautiful and very well equipped home. It was perfect for our annual getaway with our clan! The weather was gorgeous so the beach was a perfect playground for our 7 grandchildren. Thank goodness for your hose outside... You definitely provide all the necessities and then some! What a beautiful home! We were treated so well from our very first contact with Logan Road Rentals. This is a class act. I would recommend these owners to any large group looking for a relaxing, upscale atmosphere with a beautiful panaramic ocean view. There were 12 of us celebrating our Mother's 88th birthday (of course the Queen Mum got the master suite)and we had a wonderful time. There wasn't one thing we needed that we didn't find in this home. We were delighted. We felt like family instead of renters. When we arrived there was a beautiful gift basket and the table was set for 12. What a beautiful touch. We will definitely return next year for Mom's 89th birthday. Our group stayed in Sunrays in August and we all had a BLAST! The home is lovely and very well maintained and renting from you was easy and straightforward- a real joy. We had 10 adults, 10 children under age eleven, celebrated an 8th and a 40th birthday, and loved every minute of it! Our group gets together every summer and this year was the best yet! Sunrays was perfect! We took our operations managers here for a week in April of 2007 for a company planning session. The location was perfect - it got the team out of their usual element and provided a relaxing environment for sharing of ideas and talking through some challenging issues. This was a wonderful home to celebrate my 50th birthday with all of my family. I could not have wished for nicer accomodations not to mention the beach front access with fantastic view. Wow! What a wonderful place. We loved it. Everything here was well thought out and perfect. So much room for everyone. The kids loved the entertainment...the books for every age, TV's, hot tub, games. The adults were well rested. The kitchen had many cooks, every utensil and pan we could imagine. Loved the house. A true vacation with the beach, hot tub, conversation, food and wine all in a large, nice house. The ocean view from the living/dining room is wonderful! About the owner: Hello! We are Allen & Chrissy Anderton! We have two amazing daughters, Sarah & Kailey! We started visiting the Oregon Coast about 12 years ago when all of our family decided to start having our annual family reunion at the beach. We would rent a beach home for a week and just hang out, play games, barbeque, explore the tide pools, watch movies, and just have a great time. After of few years (and a growing extended family), we realized it was getting very hard to find a beach home that met all of our needs. SO...we decided to build our own!! We found a perfect view lot in our favorite city, Lincoln City, in the famous-sought after area of 'Road's End'. When we realized our lot was big enough for TWO homes, we thought...why not?? We would never be out of family space again. We built these homes with everything we wanted from a beach rental; lots of 'BIG' comfortable bedrooms, huge dining/table area, enormous open great room with amazing Ocean views, oceanview decks, TV's in every room etc..etc. We stocked them with everything WE wanted & loved. We knew if we wanted those things, so would our guests!! The most common line in our guest book is: 'You have thought of EVERYTHING!!'. We truly have, and we love to be a part of making each guest' stay a wonderful experience!
Why the Owner Chose Lincoln City:
Lincoln City is one of the easiest, most accessible beaches on the Oregon Coast. And, with our family living in the Washington & Oregon areas it was a great location choice for get togethers! It is approx. 1 hr west of Salem, and a total of 2 hrs from the Portland Airport, which makes it very easy for our guests from out of state! We loved and thus picked Lincoln City because it has everything we wanted of a beach town. It is small enough to feel quaint, but yet still has SO much to offer; great shopping (including The Tanger Outlet Mall), Devil's Lake (swimming and boating), golf course (within 2 miles of our home), amazing Tide Pools (a short walk from our home), fishing, incredible sand beaches, famous and delicious restaurants, a casino (1 mile from our home), and much much more!!

Our great room/dining area is open and comfortable with enough room for your WHOLE group to hang together. OR....send the kids downstairs to the rec. room; loaded with movies, games, PSP II, Gamecube, big screen TV, 80 game no-coin required arcade....for some time away!! Our home is a very short walk away from the beach...about 200 steps from the door to the sand!! Flat and easy access makes it great for kids and older folks!! Our home is stocked with all you will need; fully operational kitchen, soaps, towels, bedding,shampoo/conditioner, paper towels, TP...much, much more!!
PLUS....we have TWO; yes...there are TWO identical side by side homes, 'Sunrays' & 'Moonbeams' for large family get toegethers, corporate meetings, church retreats...etc..up to 40 guests!!
