The villa vacation is the best way to experience and enjoy Jamaica, offering all the comforts and privacy of home combined with the services one might find at a small family hotel. Casa del Sol, located on the north coast about 10 minutes west of Montego Bay, is an ideal spot for a few days of rest and relaxation. An experienced staff will take care of your every need. We have a private beach with great snorkeling and lush grounds with a private tennis court. Casa del Sol is prominently featured in 'Caribbean Style'.
Just across the road from the villa is a private beach for your exclusive use. A wall between the road and the beach assures complete seclusion. A beach house with changing rooms, a barbeque for cookouts (lunch or dinner), and over 500 (linear) feet of oceanfront are yours to enjoy. Offshore is a coral reef teeming with marine life and offering exceptional snorkeling.
Casa del Sol was built in the early 1960s as a beach vacation home. Spacious verandas, soaring ceilings and tall mahogany doors give the villa an old-time flair. The house is suitable for a family, a group of friends, or a couple looking for a private getaway.
We can accommodate up to 10 people. There are three bedrooms, each with a private bath: one has a queen-size bed, the other two have twin beds, though they can easily be joined together. The library has two more beds, but no bathroom. In addition, there is a cottage in the back garden, the perfect setting for that second honeymoon.
Looking for a place for that special vacation for just the two of you? The hideaway cottage, nestled in the rear garden, was built for honeymooners. Already married? No problem. Sleep in the cottage, have meals on the back veranda of the main house and hang out at the beach. Have the whole place to yourselves.
One of the great pleasures of a villa vacation is the absence of the daily grind. Our staff of five will take care of all the shopping, cooking, housekeeping, and laundry. They can answer your questions about island life and things to do.
Meals at Casa del Sol are simple and healthy with an emphasis on fresh fruits and vegetables. You can choose from American and Jamaican dishes. We can help take care of any special requests, like baby-sitting, a car and driver or tennis lessons.

Rate Details (In US Dollars)
Winter: $2800/week -Starting Rate (for up to 4 guests)
Spring, Summer, Fall: $2250/week Add $200/week for each addt'l guest in winter.
Add $150/week during the summer for each addition guest.
Food and tips are not included. A good rule of thumb is that full board
runs about $30/day per person. Add 10-15% of the rental for tips.
