Suttons Bay cabin description
If you are looking for the quintessential 'Up North' experience, you have found it. Perched on top of a gradual hill overlooking Suttons Bay, our cottage sits on 5 wooded acres. While relaxing on our 212' feet of private shoreline you will feel like the Bay is yours alone. You can enjoy panoramic views of Old Mission Peninsula and Stony Point, and take in the natural beauty of Northern Michigan in complete privacy.
At roughly 1,400 square feet our cottage is large enough for as many as 8 people, but cozy enough for one couple. The cabin is very quaint, with original oak floors, knotty pine walls throughout, and a wonderful sunroom. A floor-to-ceiling wood burning fireplace is a great way to top off the evening and enjoy the cottage's cozy atmosphere. Also be witness to a rich variety of wildlife, including a family of swans, loons, ducks, and even the occasional bald eagle.
Enjoy our outdoor amenities, including three sea kayaks; a rowboat; and a professionally installed mooring anchor for your boat. A swimmer friendly dock, large sandy beach, bay-side fire pit, and horseshoe pit, round off the front yard features. And if you want to see the pennisula, you can use our two mountain bikes.
This charming original log cabin restores the nostalgia of your Up North memories. It is truly your home away from home.

Beautiful and relaxing
Beautiful and relaxing
This was a lovely vacation home even better than imagined from the listing. This cabin was extremely clean and well kept and supplied with many extras such as portable fans, bikes, kayaks, canoe etc. We had a lovely day in Suttons Bay shopping and visiting vineyards. Restaurants (Martha's Table, North Country Grill and Village Inn) had great food. We would certainly recommend it to our friends and plan to stay again next year.

Wonderful time at Dreamcatcher .
Wonderful time at Dreamcatcher .
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Dreamcatcher cottage. The cottage was larger than we anticipated and very roomy for a family get together. We had two young boys aged 5 and 7 who enjoyed the yard and sandy areas. We also enjoyed the kayaks and the firepit. The view was gorgeous. We found the property clean and well maintained. The photos were very accurate and we would definitely recommend this to others and look forward to coming again. It is a short drive to Sutton's Bay for groceries, the park, beach and marina. 10 minute drive to Northport for Barb's bakery goodies and 30 minute drive to Sleeping Bear Dunes. The only inconvenience is the beach is very rocky but we had brought water shoes and we enjoyed searching for Petoskey stones of which were in abundance. We still were able to swim and enjoy the water but it might be difficult for some. The sandy area is quite large between the lawn and rocky beach and the boys enjoyed that area a lot.

The property and cottage are just wonderful. When we first arrived we both kept saying "WOW". The view, the water, the cottage were the perfect getaway, up north style. We had privacy and yet close to so many activities including the items at the cottage. The cottage was very clean and comfortable, we lacked for nothing except sunny and warmer weather but we found enough to do, very centrally located. We were very pleased!!

Wonderfully appointed, rustic and comfortable. Rocky beach, great for stone collecting. Tranquil. My husband and I have enjoyed the cabin for a week for the past three summers and just revel in sipping coffee on the deck in the mornings. Close to all the great Leelanau things we like to revisit. The two dogs love swimming and the large yard.
