Perched on top of five private and secluded acres, this original log cabin overlooks 200 feet of West Grand Traverse Bay frontage, just two miles north of the Village of Suttons Bay. Panoramic views of Old Mission Peninsula and Stony Point provide the perfect finish to these dramatic surroundings. The shoreline is rare with deep water 50 feet out.
You're also just a leisurely drive from Sleeping Bear Dunes, recently voted 'Most Beautiful Place in America' by ABC's Good Morning America!
The huge front yard is a distinctive feature of the property that provides plenty of room for kids to play a variety of field games, while you can rest on the newly installed sand area that provides plenty of room to relax and enjoy the expansive frontage.
Also, enjoy our outdoor amenities, including two day-touring kayaks; one 14' rowboat; and a professionally installed mooring anchor for your private use that is suitable for a boat up to 24 feet. A 25'x125' sand area, fire pit, and horseshoe pit, round off the front yard features.
The cabin is very quaint, with original oak floors, knotty pine walls throughout, and a wonderful sunroom that offers beautiful views of the Bay. A floor-to-ceiling wood burning fireplace is a great way to top off the evening and enjoy the cottage's cozy atmosphere. Also be witness to a rich variety of wildlife, including a family of swans, loons, ducks, and even the occasional bald eagle.

The Unique Benefits of this Cabin
This property is truly unique for its amenities, privacy, and size. The cottage is nestled neatly atop a small hill overlooking an enormous front yard and over 200' of direct Grand Traverse Bay frontage. Enjoy a morning coffee in the sunporch, then walk down to the dock and push off into the Bay for a leisurely kayak ride. Lay out on our very large sand area during the day, where kids have plenty of room to build sand castles and play. You can also relax on a hammock in the cool shade of a wonderful cedar grove. At night, build a big bonfire in the firepit.
