This is a Very CLEAN newer home with beautiful ocean and mountain views. It has off white berber carpets and furnished in the island style Bamboo furniture and teak. Features include high beam ceilings, open and airy two story home, (fans in every room) with large picture windows that all look out to the ocean for a beautiful view and feel the trade winds coming from the ocean. Also large enclosed garage with remote. Relax in a peaceful and quiet neighborhood, with nice neighbors. Walk to Safeway, and restaurants and just a little farther the Best Beach in the World.
Kailua is the best place to visit because it has everything here. We have a quaint town with lots of interesting shops with local handcrafters wares and also great restaurants at reasonable prices.
Stop at Kalapawai Store for coffee and pastry in the morning and a fresh made to order sandwich for the beach then get your kayaks or surfboards and bikes across the street at the little center.
Go to Morning Brew and use the internet in Kailua town, Times shopping center. Of coarse there is internet in the house.
Go to Lanikai Juice for a fresh fruit smoothie, Times shopping center. Visit all the shops.
Later in the day, after the beach, stop in at Buzz's for Lunch and a great drink (I love Freshies) and Lucy's for Dinner.
We have many good restraunts to name a few... There is also Assagio's, and Baci's with Italian food, Chineese(Mui Kui) and Korean(The Willows) and Thai, Mexican, and Japaneese food we have them all. Teddies Burgers, Maui Taco.
All have very excellant food.
On Thursday mornings from 9AM to 10AM (1 hr only) is the local farmers market behind the Kailua Fire Dept. Then at 5:00 PM in the Longs parking lot we have the evening market with all kinds of good things to eat. Go and have dinner there and mingle with the locals. Hear the sounds of a great Jazz guitarist.
Lots of cute shops for shopping in the Times shopping center and the Starbucks shopping center.
Don't forget to drive around the island one day on the coastal road and stop at little beaches along the way and then end up in Haleiwa Town for shopping and lunch or dinner.
Enjoy the sunshine, the beaches, the flowers and all that Hawaii has to offer. We are about 5 minutes from the beach right of way (drive).
Don't forget we drive slower here so slow down and relax. :)

Hi Lois, we are back in Austrailia. Just thought I would send you a note to say that we thoughly enjoyed our visit in Kailua and Ilikaa place was great. So far everyone has kept so busy having fun till the last minute they forget to sign the guest book. I have had many wonderful guest that have given me good feed back. The first group went to the U2 concert and surfed and kept up that pace the whole time. Had a great time. The next group is here for work. This is a newer rental on the market, we will have more comments coming shortly.
