My boyfriend and I rented this home for a greatly needed getaway birthday weekend for a couple friends and I. This was the first time renting a home and Jane, the owner, made it such a wonderful and painless experience! She was always prompt when answering inquiries and was willing to answer every question we threw at her (which were many)! Our rental was pretty last minute, but she made sure that we were able to rent scar-free and was able to spend our vacation 3 weeks later. When we first arrived, this home was beyond what we expected! It was beautiful, clean, and cozy! We had all never been to the Poconos and we had planned to visit the popular Boulder Field and waterfall. Unfortunately it rained out the entire weekend, but we rented the perfect home for this situation! There was never a boring moment inside the house from movie marathons, video game competitions, and challenging each other in pool. There were so many laughs and memories shared in this home, 3 months later we are STILL talking about it! We will never forget our vacation and we are currently looking for a free date this Summer to visit again! This home is perfect for a getaway no matter how mother nature tries to trump the fun!! My husband and I, 2 of our sons that still live at home before heading to college, one of my brother's and his lovely wife spend the long weekend at this wonderful home. We took advantage of the pool table and video games daily competitions. We enjoyed the host of board games with nightly Pictionary contests (yeah girls). We watched movies on the big screen tv. The fireplace warmed our cold bodies after long days skiing and tubing in the snowy nearby ski resorts. We visited Boulder Field with our boys to see the evidence of glacier activity. Every day we saw a family of deer in the front, just yards away from the beautiful windows. We also cooked scrumptious dinners in this well equipped kitchen and all 6 of us ate comfortably at the dinning table. We even made steaks out on the gas grill one night. This home has 4 well sized bedrooms that sleep everyone comfortably and two nice sized bathrooms with toasty water temps. As for the owners - wow! They were fast with the responses, answered our incessant questions, and were simply a joy to work with from the word go. They even called right after the trip, and it was like speaking with a long-time friend from the first hello. We have made memories of a lifetime with this lovely house as a backdrop and we are already talking about renting it again next year. Everything about this house is just as described and then some. I recommend it with the highest of marks, so please do not hesitate...just do us a favor and do not rent the same weekend we want it! :-) Thanks Jane and Tony - you are wonderful! Cindy and gang

First Time in the Poconos

My wife and 2 kids, her parents, and her brother, all 7 of us, were going on our first trip to the Poconos, and didn't know what to expect. Jane and Tony were extremely helpful in the process, giving us tips and being very pleasant to converse with. My son loved the video games and the house was stocked with everything that we needed...plenty of TV's for everyone, plenty of utensils in the kitchen, and plenty of room. I'm more of a wildlife person myself, and I was pleased to see deer in our yard. I also got a picture of a red-spotted newt and a red-tailed hawk right on our street. The lake and the beach are absolutely great, as well as the pool. My son and daughter loved swimming in the lake and we even saw a bald eagle there! So nice to swim at the beach, come up to eat lunch right there and then go back to the lake. We also were able to visit Knoebels Amusement Park and Bushkill Falls while we were there. Overall, we had a great time, and would definitely consider coming back! It was a memorable trip. Thanks so much to Jane and Tony.

Thank you Jane and Tony for sharing your beautiful home with our family. It was just perfect! It was very clean and well kept. The kitchen was stocked with everything that you could possibly need. The game room was also fabulous. There was also a wonderful selection of movies for all ages. My teenage son watched a movie a night. There were also very helpful brochures for all of the wonderful things to do close by. The restaurant that you recommended, Trattoria 903, was soo yummy! We went to paintball and white water rafting. My younger children loved to put apples in the feeder to watch the deer come. Thanks again for everything.

Thanks Jane and Tony for letting us rent your house. My family had an awesome vacation! The guys loved using the pool table and arcade games! It was very clean and well-maintained. Working with Jane and Tony was a pleasure. They were extremely nice and helpful. The house was close to Camelbeach and Knoebel's ( which are two of the reasons we LOVE going to the mountains). I would definitely recommend this house to everyone and would stay here again myself!!!

Truly Relaxing

My family and I rented this property for memorial weekend and we had a wonderful time. They can't stop talking about how much fun they had, and I think it is due to the convience of everything in the house. The game room was amazing and this was one of the main reasons we stayed indoors, there was always something for us to do.Working with Jane was amazing she is a wonderful person and is easy to work with. I would definitely recommend this house to anyone, and i plan to rent this house again in the future

Perfect Mountain Getaway

Hi Jane & Tony - Thank you so much for providing such a great rental. Our party of 12 really enjoyed your house. The layout was great, the beds were comfortable, everything was well kept and clean. The game room was awesome. We also loved that you had poker and black jack set ups. We tubed at Big Boulder and it was such a quick, easy ride to get to the Mountain. You were a pleasure to rent from and always quick to answer any questions. The gas fireplace in the living room was so nice after returning from the Mountain. I'm hoping to make this an annual trip and wouldn't even bother searching homes again. Yours was perfect! Thanks!!!

Absolutely Amazing!

My group had rented the house last weekend, January 7th to the 10th and it was incredible! Jane and Tony were so sweet in letting us rent there home for the weekend. First off they were such a pleasure to work with throughout the entire process of renting the house and were so easy to communicate with. The house was incredible and so spacious to fit our group of 10! We had rented the house to go snow boarding and skiing for the weekend and it was conveniently located so close to the slopes, it took maybe at most 10 minutes at most to get there. The home was well equipt with anything we could possibly need and even provided many different options of entertainment! We all really appreciated the selection of movies, the guitar hero and the large amount of options of games in the game room. The fireplace in the living room was a great touch too! This past weekend has definitely been one of the best times myself and my group of friends has had in a long time. We all thank Jane and Tony so much for renting there home to us for the weekend! It was truly amazing! We will definitely consider doing a weekend like this again in the future and hope to work with Jane & Tony again!!

Great Place!

Our two families stayed here for a couple of days over Christmas break and we could not have been happier. The owners were so accomodating and easy to work with. Everything was handled smoothly - the whole process was easy. The house was perfect for our two families and had everything we needed. We spent our days just a short distance away at Big Boulder and relaxed by the fire in the evening. The kids really enjoyed all the game room had to offer. This house was very comfortable and reasonably priced. Thanks Jane and Tony. We can't wait to come back.

A first home rental proved successful in many ways. Could not have done it without Jane and Tony's help. Questions were answered promptly. 6 old senior citizens from south central Pennsylvania proved Towamensing Trails rentals have alot to offer. Cleanliness and the various home activities were what we were looking for in case it rained but the sun shined the whole weekend. Furniture is top notch. Dinners were cooked at the house and all equipment you could possibly need were there.Hickory Run State Park is a must all year round to view the boulder field and drive thru the lake fordway from Camp Daddy Allen road. Jim Thorpe's fall train ride with lunch at the Broadway Cafe is a must. An old cemetery on Old Stage Road between Route 903 & Route 534 is interesting with a tombstone showing mafia type characters on it. Jane and Tony's home is well worth any age rental. We proved it.

Perfect for our Fall Get Away

When we arrived we were thrilled with the house. It had plenty of room for us and our friends. The kids & adults enjoyed the game room on Friday afternoon. Saturday while sitting on the deck we saw a bunch of deer and some baby chipmunks too! The leaves are just starting to change colors, The place was so nice & cozy. It was very neat & clean when we arrived & we had a great experience dealing with the owners. Would recommend this house to family & friends.

Great Home!!!

My family rented this property for a week during our summer vacation. We had a great time in the Poconos and the home was very comfortable and inviting. The deck was great for entertaining and grilling. Each bedroom has a comfortable mattress and is nicely decorated; the kitchen is well stocked. The game room is wonderful, and was enjoyed by everyone ~ especially the kids in our family. I think this is the first vacation I have taken where I didn't have to hear "now what are we going to do?" every five minutes!!! Although we did plenty of activities outside of the home, I think the kids would have been perfectly content to have never left the game room. The only downfall of this vacation is that I will most likely be forced to invest in a Guitar Hero game system!!! The private lake and pool were also very nice. In addition, the kids enjoyed the paddle boats as well as the game room located in the community building (what kid doesn't like winning tickets to trade in for those junkie little prizes)!! I would recommend renting this property to anyone interested in visiting the Poconos.

I was wonderfully surprised how great this home was. The pictures did this house no justice. It was beautiful and very spacious and we had plenty of room for all of us. The kids absolutely loved this place. Every evening we saw deer while sitting on the deck. Not once was anyone ever bored. The game room was a great bonus. We used the grill a couple of nights too. The house had everything you could possibly need. Everything was clean when we arrived. The beach and pool in the community were great too. We went several days. We rented paddle boats for the kids. We took a day to go shopping at the Crossing Premium outlets (10-15 min. drive ) and another day we went to Camel beach Water Park (10-15 min drive). We took a day and went to Hickory Run State park (10 min) and spent a day at their beach. They have a little food stand (selling hot dogs/ice cream ect..) Great prices too. We walked a trail and took lots of pictures in their stream. Great place to have a cook out too. I recommend eating at Miss Piggys for breakfast at Lake Harmony (5-7min.) Great breakfast! Overall, I would recommend this house to families. We loved it. It has a very great location. The owners were very easy to work with. I’m looking forward to returning next year. Very pleased!

Nothing but positives

We loved this home. The owners stated that their "home" (rather than "house") was available on the dates we wanted. It was obvious that they treat their Vacation House like a home. We often stay at a similar Vacation Condo each summer. This was by far the best!! I have never been to anyone's house that has a Game Room . . . never mind in one's Rental that others can use. When I first saw the Website, I originally thought that the Game Room was part of the Community Center, but no, that's IN the house. The owners pre-registered us, as we arrived at 5:15pm and then left at 8:00am the next day for Dorney Amusement Park in Allentown. We used one of the Dorney coupons which were on the Dining Room table. We had planned to get a similar coupon near Dorney, so that saved us $24, and more importantly, time. Unbelievable place!! Oh yes - one negative . . . the one thing we didn't like is that we are not the owners :)

Great house, was very surprised at how much room we all had. And the entertainment room is a wonderful bonus, kids and adults alike enjoyed their downtime playing the games and hanging out when we weren't on the slopes. The house was clean and well kept up, no surprises. Would definitely recommend this for a group of 8-10 and plan to stay again. The owners were also very helpful and easy to work with throughout the rental process. Nice place to stay!

Excellent house to rent

This house was great. The front porch is great to hang out at night and bbq. Even though we didn't spend a lot of time in the bedrooms, the bedrooms are BETTER than what the photos advertise. The area was great, tennis & basketball courts were a few minutes away, as well as a community swimming pool. The house also provides central Air Conditioning/Heating. Kitchen was very accomodating for us to cook our food. The kitchen also has a dish washer! Nobody wants to do dishes while on vacation. I would definitely rent this house again in the future.

Visited this place for the May Memorial Day weekend. We had a great time in this home. Beautiful hall with a fire place and a good deck to relax outside. Each and every room is clean and neatly decorated. Children enjoyed the game room. I would recommend this vacation home to anyone who wants have a memorable vacation at Poconos. This community is in close proximity to many local activities like biking and white water rafting etc. Have Fun! UD

We had a great time!!! We could tell you put alot of energy and thought into making your rental home a home away from home. We rent homes frequently for family vacations, and have to admit, your house was one of the best so far. The game room was so much fun! We usually bring our own games with us, but there was no need for them with the great selection you had available. We are all also addicted to guitar hero! The beds in every bedroom were so comfortable! The house was fully stocked with all the utensils needed for any cooking in the kitchen. The living room was well equipped for a wonderful entertainment experience with a large tv and surround sound. The movies on hand were also a plus! Jane and Tony are such a pleasure to deal with! We look forward to coming back and vacationing again!

Our weekend was a blast! The house is great it was close to everything that we wanted to see and do. They added more creature comforts then even the pictures showed. This house was great! The location was beautiful (in a great neighborhood) and only 7 minutes to Jack Frost/Big Boulder. The house actually had even more than the description says. They aren't shown in the pictures, but all the beds and bedrooms are very nice and comfy!! Everything was clean and well set up (pots, pans, dishes, glasses, silverware, utensils, crockpot, etc.) Also, the vaulted ceilengs opened up the place and made it feel more spacious. Tony and Jane are extremely friendly and easy to deal with. They accommodated our needs and were always available to answer any questions. I definitely would recommend this place to anyone and we can't wait to go back! Thanks for everything.

Everyone agreed that returning to the chalet after an exhilarating day on skiis was the perfect place for our family to gather. Easy to locate just 10 minutes from the slopes, the accomodations and ammenities were top notch. The expansive 'Great Room' allowed all of us to be together whether some chose to watch the 50 inch T.V. in front of the cozy fireplace, or to sit at the large dining table just off of the well-stocked kitchen. For those of us with energy left to spare a wonderful game room awaited, complete with a pool table, arcade video game and a nice assortment of board games. When it was time to 'hit the hay', four bedrooms were enough to allow everyone to rest up for another day on the slopes. Everyone agreed that we should make arrangements to return to this chalet in the Poconos next year...
