Our lakeside log home is our family's vacation home which we rent to guests 3 or 4 weeks each year. Our home has a covered porch and multiple decks including lakeside "party deck" and dock. The main level is open and airy with a large dining (pine harvest table that seats up to 10) and living area that are open to the kitchen area. The loft area is great for board games or quiet relaxation and has a bedroom and private bath.

The large basement is predominantly above grade and has lots of natural light from the many windows. It contains a ping pong table, additional TV seating and viewing, a laundry room, a bunk room, and a full bath.

The quiet cove is great for swimming and water sports. The property is convenient by water or car to restaurants, shops, miniature golf, and an arcade. There are also parks and WWII museum/memorial in the town of Bedford, about 30 minutes drive...

Roanoke city and airport are about a 45 minute drive where you'll find more shopping, an outdoor farmers market, museums, the Mill Mountain Zoo, and lots more.

  • Wow! What a great location. Easy access from 81 thru the Blue Ridge Parkway. Located on a relatively quiet cove. Great secluded deck overlooking cove. Nice open floor plan. Steps down to lake with a sunning deck on top of boat house. We had a great time! Just several miles from quaint country store with great wine selection. One trip back, we saw a deer on front lawn. Good walks.
