The Atlantic Ocean is steps away - perfect for long walks on Florida's PEACEFUL BEACH; the unit is five steps from the second hole of the golf course, and just a few steps to the dock overlooking the Intercoastal Waterway.
What more could you want? Float in the pool and watch large cruisers and sailboats slip by; sleep with the doors to the balcony off the Master Bedroom open and let the sound of the waves lull you to sleep; ride the bikes I keep in the unit around the golf course or up and down the 18 miles of sidewalk along the ocean. Why not enjoy the fresh seafood available in family-owned restaurants, eat at the authentic local Russian restaurant, or watch the sunset from one of dozens of pier restaurants? One of the charms that is a local favorite is the Farmer's Market in the Veteran's Park every Friday. Here you can find every imaginable fresh fruit and vegetable, native plants, homemade breads, fresh shrimp and other seafood,etc...
This friendly seaside village of less than five thousand great folks is unusual in that no franchise businesses are allowed - only local, family-owned businesses thrive in this historic community. You are so close to THE OLD CITY, St. Augustine to the north; Daytona Beach to the south and Orlando to the west.
