Bear Feet Inn is a charming mountain home with beautiful tavern grade hardwood floors and a cathedral ceiling in the great room. There is new Berber carpeting throughout the bedrooms. Our home has an open floor plan just perfect for that once in a life time family gathering!
Our home is the largest home in Windwood with 2,600 sq. ft. Bear Feet Inn has 5 bedrooms, each bedroom having its own full size bath! The left wing of the home offers 2 bedrooms each with 2 queen size beds. On the right wing of the house are 3 bedrooms. In the first bedroom there's a double size bed. In the second bedroom is a twin size bed with trundle along with a double size futon. In the master bedroom is a queen size sleigh bed.
The wood burning stove gives the great room a warm and cozy atmosphere to relax and enjoy watching the 60 inch large screen TV. Our open floor plan is just great for quality family time; the fully equipped kitchen is located right beside of the family room. Our home also offers wireless broadband internet and central heat and air.
Bear Feet Inn is located in the beautiful Windwood Fly-In Resort community. Enjoy the spectacular panoramic view of the Canaan Valley ski area and also the Timberline Four Seasons Resort from the relaxing comfort of the new hot tub located on the back deck. Windwood has a unique mountain airstrip. The paved runway is approximately 3,000 feet long by 40 feet wide. Windwood offers plenty to do all seasons of the year. There is a restaurant on site, “Amelia’s,” that offers a full service menu. There is also a private outdoor pool and volley ball court.
