Your own private wilderness, while living in comfort. The classic construction 3000 square feet is surrounded by incredible wildlife, the uninhabited lush forest lands and serene West River Bank grasses. Dramatic, two-story, beamed ceiling in Great Room. Entry circle wall of windows overlooks serene green wilderness on a set back quiet paved lane. Three bedroom, den, two and half bath, double garage, and wrap-around deck, in this brand new resort two-level home. Great wildlife viewing with bald eagles and other wildlife are visible from the house and expansive wrap-around deck provides sheltered outside visiting year around.

The living room is beautifully furnished with classic leather couch and chairs, antique furniture, walnut dining table, hardwood floors, oriental carpets, entertainment center, big-screen TV, surround sound, DVD/CD changer, speakers inside and outside. Enjoy the music and video collection or bring your favorite CD/DVDs and/or rent in nearby Sunriver or Bend. Dish TV with HBO-Showtime is provided on this television. State-of-the-art slab granite kitchen, integrated custom Fir cabinets and doors, Dacor range, dishwasher, Elk theme dishware, coffee grinder, coffeemaker, toaster, microwave, blender, attention to detail utensils, knives, and All-Clad cookware.

Master suite on main floor with king-size bed, walk-in closet, master travertine bathroom with gorgeous tub tile work. All beds are brand new and top quality with down comforters and linens. Another bedroom/den main floor has new queen sofa sleeper; convenient washer, dryer, and sink; TV with VCR/DVD player and Dish TV. WiFi, printer, fax, phone available also. Additional two bedrooms with queen-size bed and twin beds are upstairs, as well as small upper deck with an excellent view of the river. These bedrooms are across the hall from the upstairs full travertine bathroom with double sinks.

The house has 175 feet of riverfront with great views of river and two miles of national forest to the north so has easy access to mountain biking, hiking, and fishing right out the door. A new dock is right on the river. The last half mile to the cabin is off South Century Drive on a paved road which is plowed in the winter and only 18 miles to Mount Bachelor's scenic drive and beautiful lakes.

Boats are allowed with a 5mph speed limit and a boat ramp is nearby one-quarter mile downriver (North) at Big River Campground off of South Century Drive and upriver three miles at LaPine State Park.

Your own private wilderness retreat! There is sunshine 300 days a year in Central Oregon with snow in the Winter as the house is at 4200 feet elevation and only 18 miles to Mount Bachelors' fabulous powder snow. Great boating, trout fishing May to October right out the door. Nearby Fall River has year round fly fishing only. Great rafting and other activities such as horseback riding can be found four miles away in Sunriver, a full-season resort with shopping village, restaurants, pools, golf, spa, and other amenities. Bend, Oregon is 15 minutes by freeway for more shopping and nightlife. Fly into RDM, Redmond’s-Robert Price Airfield.

So we found Ardys' beautiful home and knew it was a great place for the whole family. We had a great week there as there are many things to do (my son loves to fish!)   • My husband and I drove in from Denver for our first wedding anniversary and it was the PERFECT getaway! The house was absolutely beautiful, very private, comfortable and had great amenities (grill, fireplace, fully stocked kitchen etc.). It was so relaxing and the weather was perfect!   • What a wonderful home!! Ardyss provides everything you could ever expect to find at a luxury hotel with the added benefit of being in a gorgeous environment...inside and out. Sit outside and watch the family of deer roam by in the early morning and evening...or sit inside with the family and enjoy a home cooked meal, a movie on the large screen TV, or play a game or two. Floating down the river was a hit with both the young and the young at heart. To make it easier Ardyss has rafts, tubes and even a canoe. We had a wonderful time and can't wait to return!   • We were looking for a place that was close by and that would have plenty of sunshine. What we found was a little piece of heaven! The home was spectacular with its large kitchen island, high- beamed ceiling, the wrap around deck and the feeling that you were the only house on the river.The house was completely ready for our enjoyment. It had everything from a fully stocked kitchen to river toys to a large screen TV. The dock on the river was a big plus. We were able to enjoy the day just watching the river go by. The second morning we were having breakfast on the deck when two deer wandered right through the yard no more than a few yards away. It is a beautiful home. One that will definitely be on our to do list again.Thanks again for the time spent in your little piece of paradise!

  • My sister and my family each drove about 4 hours to meet at this ideal family vacation home. We were thrilled to find a few kids toys and movies too. Our kids enjoyed fishing from the dock and the long driveway to ride their bikes. The house is just as described and the river is perfect for calm floats. We wish we could have stayed longer!

  • The best vacation thanks to Ardys, the best host ever, and her wonderful caretaker Carson Culp. The house is amazing, we could not expect for more. The pictures do not do justice to the house, when you first enter the only raction is WOW! We loved every moment in the house and in the area of Bend, Sunriver and Sisters. There is so much to do that even though we were there for 9 days it felt like we could stay there for much more. We launched the canoe twice with the help of Carson who took us to State Rec road and we did the 2 hour float. It was very relaxing. You do not not need anything besides your clothes when you come to Ardys' vacation home, everything you can only dream of was already thought of well in advance by Ardys. Ardys you are the best. Thank you for a great experience.

  • We really had awonderful vacation in your beautiful home. The bed in the Master Bedroom is so comfortable it makes it hard to get up.Four of us used the tubes and life jackets that you have in the garage and floated in the river from your dock to the bridge. It took us about 35 minutes and we had another person in our party party pick us up. Wow this was fun and very relaxing. Everything in the house is top notch and I would not hesitate to recomment it to anyone for summer or winter. Thanks for the wonderful time. Sharon

  • We stayed for a week in August, and again in February of this year. The house is spacious and beautiful. The windows throughout draw your eye to the lovely wooded/meadow outside. The dock on the river was the focus of our stay, for a peaceful happy hour, star gazing, fishing or for launching the canoe. This winter we skiied at Mt. Bachelor which is a wonderful resort with nice people and features, and great snow! We loved it. Ardys is so lovely and helpful. Highly recommended! We hope to come back soon!

  • We rented this beautiful home in July and we had an absolutely marvelous time!! The weather was perfect, the home spectacular with all it's amenities; gourmet kitchen, upscale decor, wrap around porch and grill for amazing dinners every night! Our hostess was nothing but charming and accomodating on every question and need! This is a perfect spot and home for any family/friends gathering! And we give it a "double green" positive!!
