Beautiful Condo Right on the Beach!!

This was the perfect condo in Ft. Lauderdale!! We just got back from a one week stay on June 9th, 2012 and we had the best time ever! The condo was very clean and nicely decorated, exactly as shown in the photos. The owners, Rosangela & Omar were very friendly and very accomodating. They even provided us with TONS of bath towels AND beach towels, which was very nice too. We made breakfast and lunch every day and the kitchen had everything we needed. We've seen many other condos and this condo was much larger than most. We had 4 adults and 2 older teens and we had plenty of room for sleeping, dinner and watching movies together. And having TWO bathrooms was a plus with the 'teens'. There is also a nice side balcony with a view of the beach, and a nice cafe table that was stacked with plenty of beach towels! The Tiki bar was very nice, and it's right on the beach! Food was good and reasonable. Drink prices were high on Sat & Sun...but 1/2 price Mon-Fri! The all-u-can-eat 'whole lobster' dinner at Tokyo Blue was the best we've EVER had! The entertainment there was very good too! We also went to Miami Beach one day (50 min drive) and the Pompano Casino (12 min north). And don't forget the Galt Mile just two miles south for shopping and lunch right on the beach . There is SO MUCH to see & do !! We would highly recomend staying at this condo for your next vacation in Ft. Lauderdale. We've been to FLA many, many times, and this was by far, the BEST! Cozy Beach Apartment

My wife and I and our 2 teenage children just returned from renting this apartment for over a week. The owners are excellent people to work with and work hard to ensure that your stay is enjoyable. We found the apartment to be exactly as shown online and very clean, spacious and has all the ammenities you need. The beds are also comfortable and the building is fairly quiet. The hotel itself is a little dated although this apartment is excellent. All your basic needs are nearby including restaurants, a super market, pharmacy and a rental car outlet near the Walgreens if you want to venture out for a tour. We discovered the Port Everglades water taxi which is just south of the apartment about 3 miles and for $20 per person you can travel up the river and get on and off at various stops. You will see many homes and yachts owned by Hollywood stars. We would highly recommend Nicks restaurant and Arubas which is adjacent to the pier. The only issue we had is that the hotel randomly checks your beach bags as you leave the hotel to go to the beach as they dont want you to bring alcohol (prefer you buy it from the Tiki bar). Also, you cant bring chairs and umbrellas and if you want to use theirs it costs you to rent them. Other then that an excellent trip.

Great Spring Break

My friends and I stayed in this condo for Spring Break and loved it! The condo is very spacious and open. Everything we needed for the entire week was in the condo including dishes, lots of towels, and games. There is plenty of room for people to sleep and the beds are very comfortable. At night, there is a shuttle that takes people from the condo to and from downtown Fort Lauderdale. This was a great service that we used many times. I would recommend this condo to anyone looking to stay in Ocean Manor!

Had a Great time

Just got back from renting Apartment/condo for the week. Had a great time. 2 adults and 5 kids ages from 16 to 21. They had a great time too. It was VERY clean. I heard Hotel had some complaints, but our stay was wonderful. I would suggest renting like we did, from an independent, not from hotel. Its their home, they take great care of it. Looks just like pictures too. Rosangela was so nice. Our plane landed at 9:50am so we were to Condo by 11 am. She let us put stuff in room and had clean beach towels for us to use. So we were in sun by 11:15am. That was great. We cooked 3 nights in room, they had everything you would want. Grocery store, Liquor store, Walgreens all really close. McDonalds too. Nicks Italian Rest was great and so was Lulu's. Food at pool was really good. Cajun Grouper was fantastic. Tiki Bar was priced High, but you're on the Ocean so, it's expected. Yes, I would recommend this to anyone.

Best Beach Vacation Ever!

My family (me, my husband, our 20 year old daughter and 16 year old son) just returned from a 10 day stay at the Cozy Beach apartment. I wanted to write this review while the memory was still fresh in my mind to encourage anyone who is thinking about renting this apartment. My family completely enjoyed our stay at this condo. We wanted a home away from home for our Christmas vacation and we got just that. About the apartment: This property was quite large with lots of room for the four of us. The balcony provides a beautiful view of the ocean—that’s where my husband and I enjoyed our morning cup of coffee/tea and breakfast every morning. You should be aware however that the balcony is enclosed and the view is through a large picture window that opens. There is a full kitchen with a range, oven, microwave, and refrigerator. There is dvd player in the living room so we were able to have a family movie night. If you are not ectronically inclined you may want to get the owners to show you how to operate it. If you have small children there is no need to bring beach toys as there are lots of them in the apartment for your use. Lots and lots of beach towels were provided which was great since we went to the beach every day. The pictures of the condo are a good representation of the property so you will not be disappointed. About the property: We chose not to use the valet parking as we knew we would be coming and going several times a day. While that seemed to be an issue initially we were able to self-park quite conveniently across the street once we received our parking tag. The street is very narrow and safe to cross as there is not a lot of traffic. The Tikki bar is a fun place to hang out anytime of day. The drinks are a bit pricey but you are beside the ocean. The food is good beach fare however and not pricey at all. There is a grocery store and a pharmacy is a pleasant 2 minute walk from the property so you can get anything you need with very little trouble. The beach is lovely and you can walk for miles uninterrupted. There are two sections to the beach in front of the property. In one section you pay for beach chairs and umbrellas. In the other section, you may bring your own umbrella and chair or simply use your towel. Thank you Rosangela for making your beautiful apartment available to us. We truly enjoyed our stay. Condo was very spacious and clean. Plenty of room for my wife and I in the master suite and 3 teenage girls in the second bedroom. All the amenities of home were available, including beach towels. Stores and restaurants all within walking distance. Nice to walk to the Pier. The area is very clean and felt safe to go for walks and runs. Beach and Tiki bar were awesome. Friendly staff. My only negative is that even though this condo was in great shape, the building is in need of some updating. Valet parking is a bit of a hassle on a daily basis.

Great Vacation!

We ventured to Fort Lauderdale with the hopes of a decent place to stay and some quality beach time. Well we got it...and then some! Cozy Beach Apartment is an awesome condo! I loved the pictures on-line, but they didn't even do the place justice. It is bigger than it looks- my parents, my sister, my friend and I had more than enough room to co-exist for the week. The master bedroom was basically a small condo in itself, thanks to it's own bathroom, entrance to the balcony and a small refrigerator. The place was fully stocked..plenty of beach towels and more bath towels than you could ever use..there were even a couple of air mattresses...and plenty of pillows and blankets. We cooked breakfast and dinner most nights, but there are plenty of places close by to eat, including a Dunkin Donuts across the street and a beach cafe on the premises. The Tiki Bar is not to be missed, especially if you are a sports fan..so many TV's! The beach is right outside the door and was quite clean and inviting. Beach chairs and umbrellas can be had for just a few bucks a day, and the gentleman who sets them up for you is great! Overall we had such a wonderful time!. Mr. & Mrs Vasconcelos should take a lot of pride in their place. They were wonderful to deal with and were always just a phone call away (although we didn't need to call them). I definitely recommend this place to anyone and I hope to return soon!

My family and I had a great time at Ocean Manor. The condo is cozy, the location is convenient and the beach is beautiful. Mrs. Vasconcelos keeps a clean and well maintained property. Furthermore, she's a joy to work with -- providing great service and demonstrating how much she truly cares about her clients. Condo met expectations. Photos acurately represent the accommodations. Owners were great to work with and very accommodating and friendly. Condo was clean and well maintained. Beach towels provided. Kitchen stocked with necessities to cook. Great location - on the beach, grocery store and restaurants within walking distance, plus a tiki bar and restaurant on premisis. Enjoyed dinner and happy hour at Nick's Italian restaurant - very casual atmosphere. Owner available to contact for questions or concerns. Would stay here again and would recommend to a friend.

Clean and Comfy Fort Lauderdale Condo

We had a fantastic time at Roseangela's apartment in Fort Lauderdale. The apartment was very clean and comfortable. It's obvious that Roseangela takes great pride in her place as it has been recently updated with a fresh coat of paint and new furniture!!! The bathrooms were nicely kept (especially loved the master) with very clean showers. The decorating was warm and inviting making you feel at home. We appreciate the fact that Roseangela meets and greets you to make sure you are happy with the accomodations as well as personally answering any questions. She is easily accessible by cell phone which was awesome as well. The Galt Ocean Mile is a beautiful stretch of beach and having a warm and comfortable place to stay made it all that more wonderful. A grocery store and great restaurants (loved Nick's Italian, Aruba's Beach Cafe') within walking distance was an added bonus. One of the best vacations ever!!! I would highly recommend this property if you are looking for a fun family vacation. The only downside is the elevators at the Ocean Manor are very slow.

Perfect Spring Break Condo with the kids!

My husband and I brought our three boys to Ft. Lauderdale for Spring Break this year to visit with family that live in the area. The condo couldn't have been more perfect. The owners thought of everything! The beach and pool are just an elevator ride away. It was very convient having the restaurant and bar pool side on the occassion that we didn't want to cook. Of course the kitchen in the condo was perfect for breakfast and an occassional lunch. Our family visited us at the condo almost every day. The restaurant even brought us dinner in the condo on evening. There was plenty of room for everyone to visit. All three of our boys met friends on the beach. We hope to return again next spring break!

Clean, spacious and accommodating

My wife and I stayed in this clean and well kept property over the holidays together with another couple. My wife and I usually prefer to stay in a single family home for our vacation rentals, however this vacation was planned last minute and we were unable to find any available homes on the water. When we initially came across Roseangela's property we had concerns about the reviews on "Ocean Manors" which is the building that her unit is located in. I addressed this with Roseangela and she assured me that the facilities were clean and comfortable, but due to a previous bad experiance we stayed hesitant. Upon our arrival we met with Roseangela as well as her husband and they were just as kind and courteous in person as they were over the phone. Although the unit's decor isn’t my particular taste the property was clean, organized, and more spacious than I had expected. Roseangela has taken great time and care to ensure wonderful accommodations for a unbeatable price for the value. I will recommend this unit to my friends and family with out a second thought.

Thank you so much for having us at your condo, Rosangela. It was perfect—the location was great (walked to the grocery and pharmacy store many of times), having access to the beach was perfect (despite the unseasonably very cold temperatures), the valet service was so convenient and we took advantage of your full kitchen at breakfast and dinner time. Your place was very clean and comfortable—we couldn’t ask for anything more! I also appreciated having access to you during our trip (email and cell phone) if any problems were to arise. Thank you again!

Wonderful vacation!

We, my husband, my sister-in-law, I myself and our sweet little dog (it is very important for us to have our dog with us) stayed here from August 13th thru September 5th 2009 and we enjoyed every day when having our breakfast at the "porch" with half view over the ocean, half view over a part of Fort Lauderdale. The apartment is excellent clean, there is nothing to be missed in the kitchen, the beds were great and last but not least the owners let us feel free to ask everything we wanted to know - so very good "service." We will recommend this apt. in any case. Ocean Manor is really a fantastic place directly on the beach, the Tiki bar, the pool - only crowded on weekends. Restaurants we recommend are Sea-watch in Pompano (great fish!),Outback Fort Lauderdale, Red Lobster Fort Lauderdale. As we come to Florida since nearly 20 years we have seen all the attractions, all the parcs including Kennedy Space Center, this depends on the taste of everybody. We like Epcot, Universal Studios, for children Disney World is a must. But also the Everglades (to a time where no moscitos exists) are wonderful. Florida, Fort Lauderdale, this apt. are terrific!!!!

THE REAL DEAL!

The condo was way beyond our expectation, beautiful, clean, well kept, cozy, quiet and fully stocked with everything we needed and more (even beach toys for the kids). With 5 adults and 2 children we were extremely comfortable. Rosangela’s greeting was very welcome, she put at ease and made us feel at home instantly, giving us a tour of the apartment, explaining the amenities and giving us advice on good restaurants and shopping areas. Everything is with in walking distance, grocery, pharmacy and even McDonalds’s for the kids….lol. The convenience of being right on the beach is priceless and the view from the balcony and the bedroom was gorgeous. We loved the Tiki Bar(great food), the pool and all the services that the condo-hotel offers, valet parking($7 one time fee), beach chairs($2/day), umbrella’s($10/day) and jet ski rentals right next door. We had a very relaxing and enjoyable vacation and this place just hit #1 on my Fort Lauderdale accommodations list. Unfortunately our stay was too short. This is a five on five hands down. Rosangela and her husband are very honest people and are a phone call away if you need them. I almost forgot; the high speed internet put a major smile on my face as I cannot live without my laptop. Very nice week at Cozy Beach Apartment

We spent the first week in the new year at Rosangela's apartment and had a marvelous time. The apartment was just as described- spacious, well decorated and with all the amenities we needed for a very nice week at the beach. The beds were very comfortable and the bathrooms were clean and like new. Rosangela and her husband were there to greet us and assist us as needed. The view from the balcony was a side view of the ocean and a nice breeze kept the apartment nice and comfortable. Wireless internet was excellent. There is no washer / dryer in the apartment but the service elevator directly opposite the apartment takes you down to the laundy which is in the building.. The building itself (Ocean Manor ) is a bit weathered as all the hi-rises seem to be on the Florida coast but the Tiki Bar and the pool and beach were great. I would definitely recommend Rosangela's place for your vacation.

Nous sommes allés passer 10 jours au condo de Rosangela et tout s'est bien passé. Nous étions 4 adultes et 5 enfants et il y avait de la place pour tout le monde. Bien sur il faut payer pour les parasols (10$) et les chaises (2$) mais il faut comprendre qu'on se trouve dans un hotel. Si vous avez des tres jeunes enfants et que vous voulez vous amener une mini tente pour les protéger du soleil vous n'aurez pas de probleme à l'installer sur le coté de la plage. Les glacieres ne sont pas permises mais vous pourez facilement vous amener un sac-cooler et boire vos petits drink: jus,eau, biere; sans trop vous afficher. Le condo offre tout ce que vous avez besoin et une epicerie Windixie se trouve a quelques minutes a pied de l'hotel et meme un Mc Do. La plage est super belle, l'eau chaude et la piscine a été tres appréciees des enfants. J'ai été surprise de trouver le condo bien isolé; jamais nous n'avons entendu les voisins.Le condo etait tres propre et tres bien entretenu. Des jouets de plage; planche, matelas, pelle et seau les attendait sur la partie galerie. Peut-etre qu'un jour nous allons y retourner; c'est un bon compromis pour des vacances familiales sans aller dans un tout inclus. Alors je vous souhaite un tres bon séjour!! My friends and I rented this unit. We were 4 adults and 5 children. The place was perfect for us. It was very comfortable. The hotel is right on a nice beach. The kids loved the pool. We didn't go to the tiki bar because we prefer to cook our food. The grocery store was a 5 minute walk. We'll probably rent the unit again next summer! Thanks again for a great vacation. : )

Great summer beginning

We headed down to Ft. Lauderdale with 4 kids (21 years old,18 years old, 16 years old, and 10 years old) with unsure of facility and the accommodations since this was all booked online. Unfortunately our flight was delayed,but Rosangela kindly waited for us and greeted us at 1 am. Immediately upon entering our expectations were exceeded. The kitchen was well equipped, the furnishings were beautiful, and the beds were amazing my kids still talk about them. Ocean Manors facility and staff and restaurant were great as well. We enjoyed many beautiful sunny days on the clean beach. Despite the Pittsburgh Penguins losing the Stanley Cup during our stay there the vacation was SUPER!! We definitely plan on returning. My wife and I have stayed at Rosangela's condo twice now and we thoroghly enjoyed our time there. She is very accomodating and makes every effort to have us feel right at home. The access to the beach, restaurants and shops could not be more convenient. We look forward to our next stay to escape Wisconsin winters.

This apartment is everything that it is advertised to be and more. It was larger than we expected, very well equipped, clean and nicely furnished. Rosangela was very friendly and helpful. The free vale parking made it very convenient to come and go. The pool area is nice and the water is warmed. Next time we go to Ft. Lauderdale we will look up this cozy apartment.

We enjoyed our stay in Rosangela's condo in July 2007 so much. Everything was immaculate and the location was perfect. The beach was so beautiful and we can't wait to go back. There were 8 of us-4 adults and 4 children and a small dog and we were so comfortable. It is truly very cozy.

We stayed at Rosangela's 2 bedroom apartment last week, and we loved every minute of it. My wife and I were there with our two small kids -- having a nice clean pool and restaurant right downstairs made our stay so much more relaxing. The tiki bar next to the pool was certainly another great bonus. The apartment was very roomy, comfortable, and clean. One of my favorite activities was to wake up early (hopefully before the kids got up..) and have my coffee on the porch with a panoramic view of the ocean. The kitchen was fully stocked with all the equipment you would need, and having a supermarket a block away from the apartment made life easy. The free valet parking was a great plus. We are very much looking forward to returning to Rosangela's apartment next year. I wouldhighly recommend staying there to anyone. Mike Karp

Last winter my parents wanted to stay in Fort Lauderdale and have a view of the ocean. I was lucky enough to find Rosangela's beautiful studio- it had absolutely every amenity my parents needed; was decorated in exquisite taste and was scrupulously clean. They could eat in the restaurant if they chose and lounge by the pool and look at the ocean. The tiki bar by the pool was a plus. My parents' flight was delayed several hours and Rosangela and her husband waited in the lobby to greet them and called me on my cell phone after they made sure that my parents were safely inside the studio-you won't find caring like that at an impersonal place! My parents were scheduled to go again this year but unfortunately my father is in the hospital- and we are passing the time talking about his wonderful trip last year. Go yourself and have a great time!

Rosangela, Your place is outstanding, well kept and cozy. Stocked like no other rental condo we ever stayed at. It had everything we needed. My family and I had a great time. One of the most relaxing vacations I have had in years. We were thoroughly relaxed and rested after our stay and we hope to return again in the future to enjoy more of the wonderful place. The vacation certainly lived up to our expectations and your beautiful home made our stay all the more enjoyable. As for the views it was just so relaxing to sit out and look at the ocean, something we are many many miles away from here in Quebec. Once again, a huge thank you for your warm and generous hospitality during our stay. Hope to see you soon!!! Sandra
