If you are adventurous, you may wish to brave the steep 5-minute hike down to Caret Bay beach, a local favorite for avid island surfers. More accessible and populated beaches such as world famous Magens Bay, Secret Harbor, and Emeral Bay are all just short drives away. Hop downtown to experience fabulous dining experiences at its many retaurants and shop for incredible buys at the numerous duty free stores.
If you're a golf nut, you won't want to miss the Mahogany Run course with its world renouned "Devils Triangle," the 3-hole wonder that overlooks the Atlantic, designed by Robert Trent Jones.
More outdoor adventures await a bit further afield on the island's East End. You can catch the ferry at Red Hook for a visit to the quaint and historic islands of St. John and St. Croix, both just short boatrides away. Or spend an afternoon exploring St. Thomas' fascinating undersea aquarium, Coral World Marine Park.
