This designer apartment has been recently renovated combining the rustic feel like wooden beams with all modern conveniences and is composed of a double exterior bedroom, a large fully equipped kitchen with all modern conveniences like a dishwasher or a microwave, a bathroom benefiting from full modernisation with an en suite bath and a heated towel rail, a spacious living room
(formerly two rooms) divided into two spaces, the dining area with capacity for up to four people and the lounge area, with two large comfortable sofas, one of them a double sofabed, and a balcony overlooking a tree lined cobbled street. It has air conditioning and central heating. A travelling cot can be provided upon request (ask owner for prices).
Its best advantage, though, is its location, as it´s in five to ten minutes walk to most tourist attractions and sights. Thus, it´s in a five minute walk to the Gothic Quarter, Cathedral, Modernist building of Palace of Music, monument of Arc de Triomf, the main parc in the city with the Zoo within ( Parc Ciutadella), several museums (like Picasso Museum), art galleries. In 10 minutes walk you find the beach ( Barceloneta), the Port, the two main shopping streets in town, the oldest Market in town to buy fresh products, the main avenue in town and besides it´s in five minutes walk to two metro lines, the yellow one " Jaume 1", and the red one, "Arc de Triomf" and the train direct to the airport.
Furthermore, it´s located in the trendiest neighbourhood in town, the Born, with its charming squares, narrow streets, innovative restaurants and designer shops, its museums ( Picasso Museum), its charming terraces and lively bars.

This property was extremely well located,a cosy local inhabitated area but close enough to the main tourist attractions. There are several fantastic small cute restaurants & bars on the doorstep,as well as grocery store & bakery too, which we frequented as they were reasonably priced and good quality. In addition the Arc de Triomf metro station was just over 5 min walk, which made it very easy to get to other areas. The owners were very professional, but also extremely welcoming,they all spoke great English, and were very informative, particularly with directions from the airport, it was so easy!
