Turn off East on Highway 49 at the town of San Andreas and wind your way to this peaceful mountain perch.Just six miles from town,you are a world away from the packaged tourist experience.Your host,Suzel,hails from the South of France and has decorated Lavender Hill Cottage in the sunny colors of Provence,in keeping with the vineyards close at hand along the red clay back roads.
Garden patio,a red wood deck,chemical-free Jacuzzi,dry sauna,spa treatments and organic home grown breakfasts make this cottage a special place to relax amidst pines and oaks on the way to the ski slopes,wine tasting,water sports,hiking,caving or just about any outdoor activity you might enjoy.
Far away from urban stresses,yet only 30 minutes from lively dining and special events in towns like Murphys and Sutter Creek. The 'get away" package is ideal for ski season, or any time of the year you feel the need for some pampering. Your week end itenary might include:
