I stayed at this unit for the month of May with a friend. It was my time renting off the internet and was a little nervous at first ,but Alicia made the experience a smooth one. She was so patient and helpful with the million questions I had. The unit is spacious and the balcony is bigger than some condos alone. We spent most of our time sitting outside admiring the view of the ocean. It was generally very quiet during the week with most people visiting on weekends. The staff and security are friendly and helpful. Internet and phone reception was a little frustrating at times but we managed. Shopping was easy, we went to Jumbo is San Pedro most times which was a 20 minute drive. The old part of Juan Dolio is worth a visit as they have some great restaurants and entertainment. It can get very busy on weekends, especially Sundays. Lots of fun. Overall I had a great first experience renting and would not hesitate to do it again and stay at Costa del Sol. Recommended for:Romantic getaway, sightseeing, tourists without a car, age 55+, families with teenagers, girls getaway, families with young children.

We stayed here May 16-May 24,2009.It was a wonderful experience. The property, the staff, and the beach were all beyond our expectations. It is centrally located to other places we wanted to drive to in the DR. We were able to walk the beach each day and pick up 100's of beautiful shells. We felt like we had our own private beach and the facility was very quiet and refreshing. San pedro has a Super Market that has most everything we have in the states. We will definately be returning to this unit in the future. We highly recommend this property for your stay in the DR.

I am a friend of the owners and was actually at the party where they were introducing the sale of these condos. I had seen plenty of pictures of the property but the pictures aren't half as beautiful as the place itself. I stayed there last September with friends and family (I am actually Dominican) and enjoyed every minute of it. A fantastic view, great places to eat near by and most of all a relaxing atmosphere. I am ready to go back any time!! Lil

To anyone wanting a wonderful place to stay in Juan Dolio, this is it! The view from this condo takes your breath away. Waking up every morning and having coffee on the oceanfront patio was the best. The condo is clean and fully furnished with everything you will need for a comfortable stay. You furnish the food and beach towels. The washer/dryer combo was wonderful. The condo grounds are well maintained and have 24 hour security. The local people are very friendly and welcoming. The owners of this vacation rental were accomodating and had excellent communication. They were a pleasure to deal with. I would highly recommend this condo as your place to stay in Juan Dolio. Hola Alicia! We had such a wonderful and relaxing stay in your condo! It is beautiful and has a beautiful location! Angel was great! He was here to greet us when we arrived -- our plane was a little late, of course. He showed us around the condo and then hopped in our car with us to show us how to get to the Jumbo grocery store in San Pedro. The first morning, I had little "fight" with the coffee pot (it won!) - and then Bob helped me. I wasted only one pot of coffee! The coffee pot and I have gotten along perfectly for the rest of our stay! One morning we had an early morning walk on the beach where I collected about a hundred PERFECT shells! One afternoon, we went to "Aura" and had a great time on the "beach bed". The Rum Punch drinks and appetizers were a wonderful end to the day - especially when it started raining - actually pouring! We have enjoyed 3 dinners at El Meson. We couldn't find any other restaurant that serves dinner early, like 7:00 PM. Things get started pretty late around here, but we like to watch TV and turn in early. The Internet service was a problem. It took a few days, but we finally got pictures of our new grandbaby and he is beautiful! Bob is pretty resourceful and he found the "Dunhill Internet Office" on the Blvd. It cost $20 per week, but we were just thankful to have it! I recommend you tell those wanting internet access to use them until yours is up and running. All in all, we had a wonderful vacation in your condo! I hope we can return next year! I would like to share some of the feedback received from guests. The most common is about the beauty of the location, how quiet and peaceful it is in Juan Dolio but close to enjoy various activities. Another comment is about the hospitality enjoyed from the Dominicans that are friendly, love life and treat the tourist with graciousness and warmth. You will enjoy your stay...I know it!
