We thoroughly enjoyed your condo and our time at Edisto. We had a wonderful view and a comfortable stay. We want to come back and stay in the same place. Love the color scheme and the amenities. The games came in handy with it being cool some of the time we were there. It was nice to be there as it was snowing at home.

A wonderful longe weekend get away for my husband and myself. The bay view and peaceful setting was so relaxing and just what we needed. The condo was furnished very comfortably and tastefully. We will not hesitate to rebook in the future.

This unit has been updated very nicely. The new mattresses in the master bedroom are very comfortable. It was very clean and the property overall is in very good condition. We will definitely go back!

Our week at Bay Creek Villas, #213, was fantastic. Edisto Island is so charming and laid-back. The villa was very clean and comfortable. I especially appreciated how nicely the kitchen was equipped. The view was beautiful and always changing and we saw several dolphins and 2 sea otters. The pool had plenty of comfortable chairs and everyone was friendly and informative. Edisto Beach is so accessible and very beautiful also. We rented bicycles for the week and enjoyed the numerous paths on the island. Botany Bay is a must as well as the ACE Basin Tour and a van tour with Dottie. Thank you so much for renting this delightful place to us for the week. We were very pleased with every aspect of our trip and our accommodations.

Retreat to Edisto Island

The condo my husband and I stayed in was great. It was beautiful and tastefully furnished with all the items to make our stay confortable. It was very clean and well maintained, located overlooking the Marina filled with a wonderful view from our balcony which we enjoyed very much and quite often. It was fun watching dolphins and kayaking from the balcony. The two of us enjoy walking, therefore there were great places to walk where it was safe and friendly. I enjoy swimming and being around a pool, therefore the pool was beautiful and very relaxing. It also is close to Marina. The beach was in walking distance from the condo. This condo is accessible to most anything you would like to do. My husband enjoys golf and there was a course practically across the street and it is in very good condition. We enjoyed the option of cooking our meals or going to the local restaurants which were excellent. We ate at the Post Office which was wonderful, but a little pricey. I would recommend this property to anyone because our week spent was one of the most pleasant and relaxing get-aways we have been on.

What a wonderful visit. It started with our arrival to this property. It is beautifully decorated...very tasteful..and well appointed. The furniture was comfortable as well as attractive. The view of Edisto Marina is the very best. The elevator was a blessing and close to the unit. The beachfront is a very short distance and easily accessible. We walked the beach twice a day. We would highly recommend this property and would come back in a minute for another visit. Christina and Arnold couldn't have been more helpful or professional. Thank you for a lovely month.

Beautiful Condo for a Relaxing Getaway

This was our second stay at this wonderful villa, and it was just as immaculate, well-equipped and spotlessly clean as our visit five years ago. The owners obviously take great care of the property and everything was in top working order. The calm coastal decor adds to the relaxing sensation as soon as we walked in the door. There are beautiful water views of the marina, and the balcony is the perfect place to enjoy the evening sunset. We will definitely be back to Edisto and this perfectly located villa!

Wonderful condo with special view

Excellent place to vacation with a very laid back relaxing atmosphere. We were able to see the dolphins every day right out our balcony window. We also enjoyed seeing the boat activity on the bay. The condo was very clean and neat which made my spouce very happy. The owners description is right on target. Great spot if you like to fish and for the golfers an excellent golf course "The Plantation Course at Edisto", only five minutes away. We look forward to returning to this condo in the future. Highly recommended for our friends.

Stayed at condo thanksgiving weekend. This place was so sparsely furnished with supplies that when we arrived from San Francisco late at night, we had no soap for a shower. Also, only workable shower in guest bathroom. Unfortunately, shower so small that if you turned around, you would bump water handle and get scalded by water. Owner needs to equip condo with at least one days supplies. We had no bath soap, dishwasher soap, No extra tp, one garbage bag, quarter roll paper towel. We expect to furnish our own supplies, but a few things to get us thru a day would have been nice. This condo would be good for one guest only. We have used VRBO exclusively for the past five years and always go by the reviews. In this case, the reviews were misleading. Thankfully, we spent the majority of time with family renting a beach house, so this was only used for sleeping.

Owner response: We were astonished and shocked by this review. Our property is suitable for one person? We've rented to satisfied couples and families of four for YEARS, many of whom are repeat guests. Also, it says one "workable" shower? What does that mean? She could not get herself into the master tub/shower combo? I don't know, but I do know our bathrooms were and still are in full working order. As for supplies, as is customary island wide we furnish a starter supply of paper goods including toilet tissue, paper towels and a trash bag. Guests then furnish the rest of their supplies as well as toiletries, soaps and shampoos. Most island vacation renters know this and it is a little different from renting in a hotel. This visitor never contacted us to report any issues or dissatisfaction. Looking back on it the guest paid her final payment quite late and we were kind enough and professional enough to be flexible. In retrospect she was difficult from the very beginning. Our reviews have been impeccable and 5 out of 5 stars consistently. We stand by the comfort level and quality of our property, not to mention the beautiful views. I am afraid this falls under the category of "you can't please 100% of the people 100% of the time." Though, we do try and we strive for everyone to enjoy their stay and to provide quality accommodations at all times.Read the other reviews as they speak for themselves and demonstrate the fact that we do indeed offer a wonderful and well kept property for all guests. We love water and this is a perfect combination of the ocean and marsh. And the best part is we could view a sunrise and sunset from the balcony. So awesome to be able to witness God's handiwork front and center. The view is ever-changing and plentiful with birds, boats, and dolphins in sight. The condo was the cleanest we had ever stayed in and updated with a very cool light fixture in the dining area. An excellent vacation!

We stayed at this villa over the Labor Day holiday. This was our first trip to Edisto. We has a wonderful relaxing stay there.This villa was everything the photo's showed. It was very comfortable, clean and cozy.You could tell the owners maintained this villa. The view over the harbor was wonderful.We will be renting this villa again when we come back to S.C.

This is my 2nd stay at this condo. Everything was wonderful. The condo is clean, comfortable and tasteful. The salt-water pool was extremely clean and fun. There is plenty of beach access nearby. The location is great, especially if you are boating from the Edisto marina. I will stay here again in the future.

The description and the photos accurately portrayed the villa which is immaculately kept. We arrived to find a beautifully maintained building and a vacation ready, recently renovated villa complete with immaculate comfortable furnishings, full size appliances, fully equipped kitchen, ample towels and new color coordinated bedding. There were bonuses which added to the appeal of the villa including art work by a local artist, a remote for the ceiling fan in the master bedroom and genuinely comfortable outside seating. The view from the deck was breath taking from sun rise till the wee hours of the morning. Prior to booking I opted to telehone the owner with specific questions as I was traveling with my 87 year old mother. She was readily accessable via internet and telephone. I was pleased to learn that the site has an elevator just a few feet away from the front door of this second floor villa. The handicapped parking was just a few feet from the elevator entrance. My mom enjoyed total mobility during our stay which included afternoons poolside. The owner also suggested bike trails, restaurant options and sightseeing treats not to be missed. She was right on target. I would not hesitate to recommend this vacation site. It was our first visit to Edisto and we plan to return and stay at the villa we fondly refer to as our home away from home with a breath taking view........

The ultimate in relaxation

We have now stayed 2 times in this condo and it is perfect. The owners have a very helpful binder with menus from local restaurants and info about local attractions. The beach is just a short walk away and the pool is very clean. The patio overlooks the marina and is a great place for morning coffee and evening cocktails. Also, the beds are really comfortable. We will definitely continue to stay here!

We enjoyed this condo. It is clean, neat and very nicely decorated. We loved having our breakfast on the balcony overlooking the marsh. It is a very peaceful environment. And we recommend to take a boat tour through the marshes. The condo is close to beautiful beaches and we also enjoyed spending afternoons at the pool. Charleston is only an hour away. This is a great opportunity to spend a day there. In sum, the condo is very nice and you will enjoy it.

Perfect Little Getaway

This property is everything the owner says it is and more. My family stayed here for a full week and the water view is stunning. We could see the water from all the living areas and the master bedroom has an expansive glass door wall that overlooks the water as well. Inside, the furnishings are tasteful. It's obvious this owner regularly maintains this property. You have to be careful because some properties at the beach haven't had a dime put in them in decades. Here, you'll feel like you are at a resort property because everything is so nice. And, what you CAN'T see on this listing is the smell. There is NO smoke smell whatsoever in this unit. It really is smoke free just as advertised and that was a relief to us - especially because I am a physician and espouse a healthy lifestyle. I highly recommend this waterfront unit for a vacation. It was thoroughly enjoyable for our family and we plan to return here again.
