Recently renovated, this spacious two story home offers guests a 360 degree wrap around porch on the upper level. Here you will also find the Gazebo, just off the master suite, a wonderful spot for morning coffee, or evening cocktails. An expansive porch continues on the main level … a great venue for outdoor dining, or simply lazing with a good read.
Hand hewn Hickory floors create a welcoming family room with floor to ceiling Florida washed pine bookcases filled with books to fit anyone’s likes, DVD, CD’s, flat screen TV with HD Direct TV Top Choice Package , and a beautifully tiled fireplace complete the feel of Papa Hemingway.
As one enters the bungalow thru her front double French Doors you step into the Main Foyer, to your right you see a graceful winding staircase and a cozy seating area complimenting the Club Bar.
One of the most enjoyed features of this home is its newly renovated, fully equipped and well-supplied kitchen. The new Silstone counter tops, and Handpainted Italian Pillowtop tiled backsplash greats the feel of GreatNana’s kitchen at the turn of the Century. GreatNana would have loved the new stove and dishwasher.
The Master Suite (Plantation 4 poster king), on the second floor provides a full view overlooking tghe Clifton Waterway, the heated pool~spa, gardens and in the evening Gulf sunsets over TigerTail Beach.
Two way fireplace and casual seating add to your ensuite comforts. Open French doors onto the wrap around porch for your morning coffee in Kennedy Rockers, or the over stuffed wicker seating under the Gazebo.
The private Master Bath features a double-headed 5’x 8’ two person shower and separate two person soaking jet tub. This unique suite shares a common wall featuring a two faced fireplace, where votive candles can provide a warm, romantic glow.
The uppstairs Queen bedroom has a Full private bath and Direct TV. This room offers it’s own Front Porch Setting, views of teh Clifton Waterway canal, gardens and accesss to the Gazebo.
The Downstairs Front Bedroom with its Sea Captains height King size bed, offers views of both the Front and Side gardens while looking off to the Waterway inlets . Direct TV and casual seating. The second downstairs bedroom, a Bahamian Bamboo King bed, overlooks the Clifton Waterway with it's own seating area and private access to the total main level veranda. Flat screen Direct TV and casual seating. Both bedrooms share a large bath with double sink vanity, and a 4’x 7’ walk-in shower with Euro and massage wands.
"The Hideaway" is sun filled room, seperate quarters from the main house. This room features a full size Billiard Table, Twin beds, Direct TV, DVD, games, books providing an ideal separate recreation and sleeping area for younger guests (or Peter Pan Adults). This room also offers a balcony overlooking the pool~spa, as well as, views to the gardens and the Clifton Waterway… again enjoy those sunsets.
"The Hideaway" also has a work station where you will find the computer, multi task printer, and high-speed internet access. If you’d like, bring your laptop, as we have wireless internet access throughout the bungalow.
An added surprise and great fun. The Outdoor Shower … hidden in a cluster of Palm Trees just off the porch and pool~spa. This makes for great fun, especially for the young ones, Mum doesn't have to nag to take a shower, they go willingly.
The very secluded, heated Pool and Jacuzzi Spa, outdoor heated shower, lush native Florida Palms, foliage and flowers makes for the most relaxing of venues. You truly unwind. No worries.
The dock with winch and bumpers will accommodate ocean going motor craft with no more than 10’ overall height to clear the bridge access points to the open Gulf, the canals and inlets of Marco and Her Ten Thousand Islands.
The Holidays at Cottage Court
Come mid-November, just around Turkey time, Cottage Court gets fully dressed anticipating Santa’s arrival and looking to ring in the New Year with good cheer and health to all.
A 9’ Christmas tree stands at the base of the winding staircase, displaying decorations dating from the 1940’s to present. Wreaths, garlands, collections of Nutcrackers, Santa Clauses, Carolers, and a rather whimsical group of Christmas Pigs.Stockings hung by the fireplace with care.
Christmas and Holiday music. A wonderful collection of mix and match china; all the trimmings to complete your table for a beautiful Holiday Celebration with family and friends.
We provide a beach cart with chairs, umbrella, boogie boards and other toys. TigerTail Beach is under 0.3 miles from the house and offers many activities. These include 2 playgrounds, swings, bathrooms, snack bar, and volleyball.

We loved relaxing by the pool or simply watching a movie. We visited a local spa for our manicure & pedicures and made 2 trips into Naples for shopping & movies. Great fun & the most relaxing trip we've had. Your home is beautifully decorated; colors updates; furniture lovely. Overall favorite: wallpaper in the upstair's guest bath!

After our very busy first week of our holiday in Orlando (which was awesome) we have had a very chilled second week here on Marco Island. Our children have all caught their first fishes here on the jetty. It was great to see their excited faces. Even Mum caught her 1st fish. We went on an airboat to the Everglades - would definitely recommend that. Our favorite meals have been on 5th Ave in Naples. Definiately hire a boat for the day and explore the waterways. Went to Naples and back and saw many dolphins, pelicans diving for fish - amazing. You have a very comfortable and charming house. We have enjoyed many evenings playing Boggle and watching movies. The pool and pool room are a favorite with the children.
