Location: Todos Santos, Baja California Sur, Mexico (Las Tunas, beach community two miles north of Todos Santos)

Accommodations:  House, 2 Bedrooms + Loft, 1 Bath (Sleeps 4-6)

Get away to a delightful house with an ocean view near Todos Santos, Baja California. Todos Santos is a culturally-rich community with many wonderful restaurants, art galleries, shops and friendly people. Miles of the Pacific beach, suitable for breath-taking walks, sunbathing, beach-combing and horseback riding, are accessible, a five minute walk, from Casa Jacinta.

Casa Jacinta is comfortable and homey. The house was built by a local architect just a few years ago and is a mix of modern and traditional Mexican styles. It features a palapa roof, a second story outdoor living space, and is pleasant year-round due to ocean breezes and lots of desert light. From our casa you can see, hear and breath the Pacific Ocean.

We strongly recommend that you rent a car when staying at Casa Jacinta. The house is two miles north of town, and swimming beaches are a short drive south of town. There is limited public transportation in the area. Please feel free to email us with any questions. We love this house and enjoy sharing it with others!

    • We loved Casa Jacinta! The house is beautiful and charming. The workmanship shows from the floors to the palapa roof. The house was spotless and well supplied. We loved walking to the beach each evening to watch the gorgeous sunsets. The yard is lovely and the neighborhood quiet. Our stay was relaxing and peaceful...thank you!

    • Hi Carol, We got home last night around 10 pm from the best vacation we've ever had. One week was way too short. Next time we will be asking you to book us for 2 weeks!! The house was a dream. It couldn't have been more perfect. It's much more lovely than your pictures can begin to show. Also, all of your lovely landscaping and the views!! Wow. We are so grateful that you have chosen to share this paradise with others. Warmly, Rebecca and Larry

    • I love this place! The house is charming and comfortable, the beach community is low-key and friendly, and the town of Todos Santos is charming but far enough off the tourist track to feel like Mexico! Take your pick of the local beaches; there are ones for swimming, for walking, for surfing and for buying fish from the local fishermen. Bring your camera; I came back with great shots of flora and fauna. And don't forget your binoculars. The upper deck of Casa Jacinta is great for watching birds as well as sunsets!

    • Well, if you like COMPLETE peacefulness with a good cup of coffee in the morning, with bright cheerful sunshine, it also comes with a full chorus of "birds" in the morning then for sure you'll find complete happiness... I would wake with coffee every morning, go bird watching and then walk to the ocean...Plus, you get to watch the Whales "frolicking"...Yes, I do recommend this "well kept secret" of simple pleasures! • I had a wonderful week at Casa Jacinta last March. Loved the town of Todos Santos, the friendly neighbors, the gorgeous beaches and the sunsets from the roof deck. Everything you need and more is provided for a relaxing vacation. I saw many whales just a few feet from shore while there -- really memorable!

    • I stayed in this house in March 2006 with friends. We enjoyed walking on the beach and watching the sunset from the deck. The house is comfortable and I would recommend it to anyone who wants a relaxing beach vacation in a warm sunny locale.

    • Great residence/location. Stayed 2 weeks in March "06". Morning walks on beach with pelicans, tremendous sunsets as we sat on the upper deck sipping margueritas! Clean, comfortable, quiet. Breakfast on lower deck in warm sun! Short drive to the fisherman's beach to buy Bonita right out of the boat for $1.00 lb.! Walk around Todas Santos at night and buy ice cream or fish tacos. Side trips to La Paz or Cabo. Great spot!

    • My husband and I spent 5 very relaxing days at this lovely home in May 2006. The house itself is airy, light, roomy, and tastefully decorated with more amenities than we could possibly need or want. The house is beautifully landscaped in the desert with the ocean literally steps away. You can walk on this deserted beach forever, it seems. We needed a car to get to town, about a 10 minute drive, but we did walk to the local grocery store up the hill. There is an organic farm not far from the house as well. The town of Todos Santos is charming and not overwhelmingly touristy, a welcome contrast to Cabo San Lucas. During our stay, we read, walked, shopped, went out to dinner, barbequed at home and slipped in a day trip to La Paz where the waters are tranquil and turquoise. We thought the weather in May would be unbearably hot but in fact, there were times it was quite cool... those ocean breezes! If you want to go to Baja to relish the best of this land and truly relax, this beautiful Todos home is definitely the one to rent!

    • I loved staying here. It was so comfortable and quiet and had everything we needed. Good walks were right out the door. However, the best part was drinks every night on the rooftop deck as we watched the sun set.
