Watch the oyster divers from your lawn chair while soaking up the sun or wander the Sandy beaches. The Grey whales, December to mid March, are amazing.
Our casa is located a half an hour drive north of Puerto Vallarta, RIGHT ON THE BEACH, and half way between the small Mexican towns of Bucerias and La Cruz. You can walk to either town on the beach in about 20-35 minutes depending on how fast you walk. Walk to La Cruz during low tide.
Experience the cultural best of both worlds--Discover the quaint, small-town shopping and dining in Bucerias and La Cruz with quick access to sights and attractions of the Famous sun-drenched resort of Puerto Vallarta, a mere 30 minutes away. Plus a short half hour drive to the surfing town of Sayulita. Fabulous beach days await!
Follow your Marble staircase upstairs to the master suite with a QUEEN Bed, carved wooden writing desk, and Private, ALL MARBLE Bathroom. Hair dryers available in both bathrooms. The guest suite upstairs has the flexibility of two Twin-sized beds which can be combined into a KING. There is a double-bed sized Sofa-Bed on the main level in the living room. A crib can be arranged for the little one for ABOUT $35 a week.
Both bedrooms are tastefully decorated in MEXICAN DECOR and have sliding doors that open out to a common Balcony overlooking YOUR OWN POOL and the Bay of Banderas. So brew your coffee, relax and enjoy the morning sunrise or the Evening Lights of Puerto Vallarta with your Margarita or other favorite beverage.
On the main floor, a wall of sliders in the living room and dining room open directly onto the covered patio and the Pool area which Leads to the Beach. A PROPANE GRILL outside for those great Bar-B-Ques. A Second Bathroom is conveniently located on this floor along with the sofa bed couch for those who prefer not to negotiate stairs. Watch your FLAT SCREEN TV with satellite TV service that gets some American channels. There is a CD player with some CDs provided and also an I-HOME for you to bring your MP3 player and listen to your own tunes.
COMPLIMENTARY BREAKFAST FOOD, Soda and beer await you in the frig and a LAUNDRY ROOM adjoins the well-equipped Kitchen. Weekly MAID SERVICE enhances your vacation, while the pool and yard are impeccably maintained for you. A beach umbrella, Beach Towels, hand cooler, and cooler on wheels will enhance your excursions to the best beaches in Mexico. Don't forget the sunscreen!
A re-loadable CELL PHONE is provided with 200 pesos of minutes. Wireless/Wired INTERNET available in the casa so bring your laptop and keep in touch. Internet cafes nearby if you prefer. A rental car is useful but not critical, as the bus stop is about a 3 block walk to the highway. Just flag them down. Buses run frequently, are inexpensive and are quite an education in local culture. Taxi phone number is pre-programmed into the Complimentary Cell Phone.
Enjoy sightseeing tours and activities such as, surfing, horseback riding, whale watching, fishing, zip lining through the jungle canopy and mountain biking, to name a few. Our BILINGUAL property manager is a wealth of information and only a phone call away. Ask us about arranging a sport fishing, whale watching or snorkeling charter. We can also arrange for an authentic MEXICAN HOME-COOKED MEAL to be waiting for you upon your arrival (or more days if you wish) at a reasonable cost. Or if you wish a massage, that can be arranged also, in the privacy of the casa.

- Sandy/rocky beach in front. Large sandy beach and swim area next door. Thirty minute beach-front walk southeast to downtown shops in quaint Bucerias. At low tide, walk 20 minutes northwest up the beach to the fishing village of La Cruz and beach front restaurants. Archeological site with petroglyphs an hour drive north, as well as great nearby beaches to visit. Twenty minute drive to surfing town of Sayulita, ten minutes further to fabulous beach at San Francisco. Locals call it San Pablo.

Why the Owner Chose Bucerias
We love the view, the privacy, the tranquility, and especially our own pool! We are close enough to beach-walk to both Bucerias and La Cruz., yet are far enough away that we don't have beach-vendors and crowds. For the tourist experience, Puerto Vallarta is only a half hour south by car. For a quaint beach/ surfing town experience, Sayulita is a 20 minute drive north. We couldn't ask for a better location for all that we love in Mexico.
Two story, two bedroom ocean front townhouse with gorgeous views and a private pool. A tranquil setting between two quaint Mexican towns, yet close enough to all that Puerto Vallarta has to offer.

This is our first time at Casa de Banderas but our third time to Bucerias. Probably one of the nicest casas that we have stayed at. Loved the view of the bay and especially at night when the moon was full and shining on the ocean. Awesome! Loved having the pool to cool off in. The chairs outside are so comfortable to lay on. The house itself has everything you could possibly need including washer and dryer. April 23 is our 28 wedding anniversary. We will keep on coming back.

The casa has everything we could have wanted. A good selection of music, well equipped kitchen, comfy beds and a private pool to get wet in. The only negative thing we found was it was so perfect here that we didn't spend much time exploring the surrounding countryside. Thanks to Vanessa for looking after us so well.

We have spent the last 6 Christmases at various Mexico destinations. We love Mexico. This vacation house has been very well equipped. We love that there are plastic cups to use by the pool. Surprisingly that is not the norm in most vacation homes.

Thank you for this adventure and stay at your beautiful casa. The advantage of this place other than the ocean, pool, great amenities and that it felt like home is that it is closer to what we believe to be a more exciting part of Mexico, toward La Cruz and beyond, up to Sayulita and Rincon. This casa is so out of the way yet so close. Its top notch location and being on the ocean provided us with many days and nights of cocktails. Everything was great. The starter food in the frig, the maid service, and I could not have lived without the wireless.

This was our third trip to Casa de Banderas. It is a very nice property--clean and well-maintained, with a beautiful ocean view. There is always food and beer waiting for guests. The decor is lovely and the beds are comfortable. There is a private place for sunbathing with nice lounge chairs. Although the beach is not swimmable, it is great for birding, and their is a swimming beach just a very short distance away. Bucerias is a 40 minute walk down the beach or a five minute drive. This is a great place to stay.
