Welcome to Rob and Sandra's lovely lakefront home on Lake Placid - close to New Braunfels, McQueeney, Seguin, and San Antonio. We have owned this home for over twelve years, and recently decided to make it available for others to enjoy.
Great for "Winter Texans," family vacations, or extra room for the holidays.

Our lake is the third in a chain of three lakes on the Guadalupe River - Lakes Dunlap and McQueeney are just upstream. Being a little further away makes for, well, a more Placid experience. Bring along your fishing poles, or choose to relax on the beautiful sun deck that sits 12 feet over the water.
You will stay in a spacious, fully-furnished home-away-from-home, sure to include everything you need to relax.
You are near everything you need to make your vacation one to remember. We have the largest water park in the USA, Schlitterbahn, and the oldest operating dance hall in Texas, Gruene Hall. You can tube or raft the Guadalupe river, tube the Comal River. If shopping interests you, then you will want to visit one of the largest outlet malls in the U.S. in nearby San Marcos. Take in the historic sites of the Alamo in San Antonio, or enjoy Six Flags Fiesta Texas and Sea World - only a short 40-minute drive away. Of course just sitting on the deck and relaxing is always a favorite activity. You will never run out of things to do.
Our home features include: Three bedrooms, two with king-size beds and one with a queen-size bed. Two full-length sofas can can serve as additional sleeping areas. There are two full baths, full-size washer and dryer, and a two story dock. The home has water views from the living room, dining room, and kitchen. A large covered porch has a table and chairs, and the waterfront is but 70 feet from the back door. There is ample outdoor seating shaded by tall pecan trees to enjoy the view and a huge back yard to enjoy outdoor games, or relaxation. Grilling is available on our gas grill.
Pets are welcome, additional pet deposit required.
No smoking inside.

* $400 security deposit, refunded within 30 days of departure.

* Reservations are guaranteed when 50% of the total and security deposit(s) have been received.
* Balance due fifteen days prior to arrival.
* Reservations less than fifteen days in advance can be guaranteed with receipt of full payment: credit card, cashier's check or postal money order.
* Rate based on up to six guests.
* $25 charge for returned checks.
* 3% charge for credit cards/debit cards
* Cancellations: Full refund given with 45 days advance notice or if re-rented, minus administrative fee. Partial refunds within 30 days.
