We had a wonderful week here! The lake, the ducks, the fish, all of nature was at our doorstep! So close to everything, we parked our car and walked everywhere... We look forward to our next visit. Thanks for making everything so enjoyable.

Had a great time at this beautiful cabin with an amazing view of the lake. Comfortable, cozy place that is perfect for staying inside especially when it's snowing. Very conveniently located a few blocks from the Village at Big Bear. I would definitely plan more trips here in the future.

A vey nice cabin with lots of mountain charm, it is a perfect location, the view is amazing, its very quiet thus very relaxing! We had 7 people and there was plenty of room. Card games at the dinning table were so nice as we gazed out the large windows which overlook the lake. Can't wait to go back in the summer with the boat!!! Kari was very nice and very helpful!

I loved this cabin and the amazing location. This property is located very close to the village right on the lake. You cannot ask for a better location and view.. The cabin has an amazing backyard to relax in with a great dock. My kids played in the snow and feed the ducks on the lake. The cabin can sleep at least 10 with 4 twin beds upstairs and then 2 queens/bunkbeds downstairs. The cabin is very charming with lots of big bear charm. I plan on going back this summer to enjoy the summer months and swimming in the lake.. Great times.

My husband and I go to Big Bear for ski vacations every year, but this was our first time renting a cabin instead of a hotel room, and I assure you it was a great experience! Everything went smoothly, from the first contact e-mail to the last day at the cabin. Kari was very flexible and comprehensive when it came to contract signing and payments (since we don’t live in the US) and was always willing to answer my questions (we never spoke on the phone, but emails were a good way to communicate). The cabin is perfectly located near The Village and a 3-minute-drive away from Snow Summit. Bedrooms and bathrooms were clean and had everything you could need (linens, blankets, towels, toilet paper, hangers, empty drawers); kitchen is fully equipped. We were too tired to play board games, but there were a lot of them for us to enjoy; flat screen and TV both have DirecTV; WiFi Internet works fine. I only have one suggestion: a hot tube on the deck would make this cabin a true paradise! Anyways, I would definitely recommend this cabin and would definitely go back next year. Thank you Kari for making our vacation a memorable one!

We just returned from our 3 night stay at the cabin with our friends! Amazing place to ring in the new year! The condo is very spacious (plenty of room for 8 adults), in a perfect location (walking distance to the village and bars/restaurants) with spectacular views! Best part of the day was watching the lake and the ducks from the kitchen table, a real break from everyday reality! Kari was super responsive and professional, thus making the whole experience a great one! Thank you and we will be back soon!

Our group of close family friends spent this past Christmas weekend at this lakefront cabin and all of us had a wonderful time. The kids had tons of fun snowplaying in the backyard which is right besides the lake. The cabin was clean and everything was thought of to make the stay comfortable. The location is great and you can walk to the village. The lake views from the cabin are amazing especially in the mornings. We would definitely be back this year.

This cabin was absolutely perfect for our family trip: my fiancee and I, our almost 3 yr old son, a girl friend, and her 5 yr old son. Kari was extremely accomodating to our last minute booking and made the entire process painless. Once we arrived, the cabin was so welcoming,cozy, and private (perfectly matched the description)!! Kari is so considerate to provide all the amenities a family would need: plenty of extra blankets/pillows, a fully stocked kitchen, even down to the little details like Monopoly. We created some pretty incredible memories here. The view of the lake/backyard is gorgeous, the neighbors are very sweet, and everything you need is just minutes away: tubing/sledding, ski resort, grocery store, coffee shops, etc. Honestly, this was exactly the relaxing escape we all needed. We all felt INVOGIRATED with new found energy when we came home and on the ride down the hill, were already planning our next visit to Kari's lakefront paradise. Can't wait to come again. We really found an affordable gem. Thank you for everything, Kari, especially peace of mind!

Our group of 3 had an amazing time here. Perfect location, beautiful views, and convenient to everything. We fished from the dock, grilled on the patio, made smores at the fire place...all while enjoying the views of the lake and snowfall. Kari was so easy to work with and very accommodating - she even called to ensure we made it safely since we also had the first snowfall of the season the day we arrived. We'll definitely be back!

I would give this 6 Stars if possible. Kari was so accommodating. The views were spectacular. The condo was extremely comfortable and homey and the kitchen was very well stocked. Our group of 6 had an amazing time relaxing, shopping at the Village, and fishing. We will definitely be back!

We had a great experience here. The condo was right on the lake, the views were great and it felt like we were the only people in the complex. It was a 5 minute walk to town, but unfortunately Starbucks moved to a new location further away, but there are a few other coffee places in town, so it was no big deal. We were able to have our dog with us and she loved the place. We were so grateful that they allowed us to have a pet there. The interior of the condo is very nicely furnished and the huge breakfast nook in the kitchen was awesome. You can eat and look straight out the huge sliding glass doors onto the lake. We definitely plan on going back again. The price is very fair as well.

This was the best place to stay for our family vacation. The 4 bedrooms worked perfectly for us, the kids, and grandkids. Everyone had room. Plus the dining table was perfect for playing games. (The Yahtzee game and some others were provided!) We could wakeup to the most beautiful view of the lake & my granddaughter loved to go out and feed the ducks in the morning. I liked that we could walk to town, the funplex, and restaurants. We had no idea where to stay in Big Bear, but this was great. We would stay there again! Nearby attractions we loved were zip-lining, running the trail on the North shore by the lake, hiking Castle Rock. The restaurant we liked best for lunch was Amangelo's.

This lakefront cabin was great. It was very clean and the view was amazing. I took a group of 5 boys and my dog up to the cabin and we had a great time. We fished right off the dock, went bowling and alpine sledding....it was a blast! I also have to say that the owner is very nice. This was a last minute trip and she worked with me to get it put together quickly. Thank you! I would definitely stay here again.

This well located condo has breathtaking views. The listing was accurate but I would just note that the upper loft is not really going to be comfortable for tall adults. The unit is very well maintained and cute. It was perfect for a group with kids. The owners were very responsive and easy to work with. Overall a very pleasant experience.

We stayed at the Lakefront Chalet for a week and had a wonderful time. The view is truly beautiful and the location is amazing. We were fortunate to have had 2 feet of snow during our stay, and the kids had a blast playing right in the large front yard overlooking the lake. We made snowmen and snow angels and then came in and sat by the fireplace in the cozy living room. The kitchen is well stocked with everything we needed to prepare meals and we all enjoyed sitting together around the big booth with that awesome view of the lake! It was nice to be so close to the Village too. We were just a couple of blocks away from shops and restaurants, a movie theater, a bowling alley...we could choose to do nothing or to be entertained. A true vacation!

Once again, we had the best time staying at the Lakefront Paradise! Each time we stay, it gets better and better. The location....PERFECT! The view....GORGEOUS! The amenities....HAS EVERYTHING YOU NEED! There's something for everyone to do: Walk along the shore, absorb the atmosphere, relax, take a very short walk to the village, watch some football, BBQ, sit down by the water and read a book under a tree, listen to the breeze in the trees, and just enjoy yourself. Can't wait until our next visit! Thank you again for another wonderful stay at the Lakefront Paradise!

We stayed at this condo for a weekend getaway in September 2010. There were six adults and one infant and the space was just perfect for us. It's a great location - walking distance to the Village, mini market, Starbucks, and to the marina for rentals. The condo is very clean and had the amenities of a quaint little inn. We brought our little Dacshund and she loved exploring the property! The lakefront location and view is the best part of this place. Would highly recommend it to anyone, esp for a quiet weeekend away.

We had a great time at this lakefront cabin. The boat dock worked out nice and it is right in front of the cabin....no long walks or drives to a marina. The launch ramp is only a block away. You would never know while at the cabin that you are so close to town. We walked to Starbucks in 4 minutes and just a little further is The Village. The cabin is very well equipped with towels/blankets/pillows/cups/plates....and is adequately furnished. The view of the lake is very peaceful - gotta love the deck! All of the posted photos are accurate. The downstairs neighbors are very friendly. This is a good cabin for a large family or two families to share. The owners are very pleasant and easy to work with. Thanks for a terrific get-away!

Thank you so very much !! Your description on VRBO was exactly as it said !! Beautiful Lakefront !! My boys had sooo much fun fishing on the "private" dock & We loved waking up to the view of the lake every morning. This is where we will be coming back to next year :o) The owner was easy & accomodating to work with too !! Defintely would recommend your home to friends & family.....

My family & dog Spike spent five days over 4th of July weekend. We wanted a lakefront property where we didn't have to go into town to watch the fireworks. We were not disappointed! From the comfort of our own balcony we watched the fireworks burst overhead! I would say that the show is as good if not better than South Lake Tahoe which is renowned as being the best west of the Mississippi. This chalet is about 200 yards from the Big Bear Marina. I'm so jealous because I sold my boat a few years back and you can launch at the marina and you can rent their slip right in front of the property. It is less than a five minute walk to the local Starbucks and less than a ten minute easy walk to the village where their is plenty of shopping & dining; many pet friendly. The unit comes completely equipped with ample plates, glasses, cutlery etc and if you have rented as much as we have you appreciate it when the owners supply the unit generously with the essentials of home. One last comment. There are some really nice owners Dave & his wife who lifv in the lower unit. Dave was very helpful in providing suggestions of what to do and where to eat. Also, the owners of the back upper unit are also very friendly and are part time residents. She spent Saturday decorating the dock with tiny American flags. It made it so much more festive. Thanks to Kari for such a grand mini vacation to celebrate our country's birthday. Gary from Brea

Lake Front Private Fishing Getaway

Our family stayed here from 6-10-10 thru 6-14-10 this year and it's our second year in a row staying at this place. This place is great for anybody who enjoys the lake, either cruising in your boat or fishing. The biggest secret of this place is the incredible fishing right off its dock. Our family caught over 100 catfishes in the time we were there. We wish we figured this out last year. It's just great being lakefront, the kids ran back and forth between the dock and the house. You can park your own boat right at the dock, or Big Bear Marina is just 5 houses down. You can't find a more convenient place by the water. We'll be back again for sure.

We stayed in this wonderful property for an entire week. This is a perfect spot for boat and dog owners! The dock was very sturdy and well constructed, the fenced in yard fantastic for a dog! The cabin was roomier than expected, clean, and had all the amenities you need. All photos and descriptions are accurate. The proximity to the village was very convenient. We also appreciated being able to store our bikes in the garage when not in use. The owner was extremely professional, responded quickly, and was great to work with. We will be back!!

This was the perfect cabin. Everything was as pictured, and the lake view is to die for. The owner was wonderful to work with, prompt to respond, and organized. It is such a great location, just a 5 minute walk to the village. We can't wait to come back!
