Only ten minutes to Hilo town with its beaches, shops, restaurants, museum, zoo, etc. Within five minutes to Akaka Falls, Onamea Bay, Honolii Surfing Beach, and the Onamea Scenic Drive. Drive along the Hamakua Coast to Hapuna Beach, which was voted one of the top ten beaches in the world! Or drive to Hilo area beaches in ten to fifteen minutes.
This home is clean and uncluttered for a perfect get away with a bright, sunny, unobstructed interior.

We have two homes in Hawaii. We live in one and rent the other as VRBO and Home Away. We love to travel the world and come home to Hawaii.
Why the Owner Chose Hilo
We love the Hilo side of the island because of its lush, green, local atmosphere. We chose the home in Pepeekeo because it is not in town, which can crowded, and up the coast a bit where it tends to be more sunny!
The Unique Benefits of this House
We have a home just a few miles away and love the serenity that the Hilo area has to offer.

This property is located about 10 minutes north of Hilo, and is very quiet at night. The interior is airy and light, and there are 3 bedrooms . The large bay window looking out to the east is great for reading or sleeping. The kitchen is lacking in some basic amenities such as a blender or rice cooker, and there are no other basic supplies such as flashlights, boogie boards, umbrellas, paper towels etc. which most rental homes offer. This is a good location to explore the northeastern Haakua coast, the Volcano area to the south, as well as sights around Hilo. We enjoyed our stay there and would stay again in the future.
Recommended for:Families with teenagers, romantic getaway, age 55+, girls getaway, families with young children.

We often visit the Big Island and looking for a good rental that is clean,spacious, and with a view that makes you stay worth while is hard to find. We found the perfect place just outside Hilo. Close to Akaka Falls and Onamea Bay.We would recommend this beautiful home for your vacation. T.M.
