Located in West Looe, St Crispin is the middle flat of a converted house which dates back to the late 1890's. Uninterrupted views of the Harbour, East Looe, Beach and out to Sea can be seen from both bedrooms and the Large bay window in the Lounge. Set back from the main road, there is a secluded courtyard to the rear of the property which provides private access to the apartment.
The property has been completely refurbished (April 2013) and new furnishings throughout.
St Crispin has a bright and airy lounge with a large Bay window, TV, DVD and Wi-Fi, plus Dining seating for 4 people.
Bedroom 1 has a king-size bed, wardrobe, bedside tables and chest of drawers. Bedroom 2 has twin beds, plus a wardrobe and bedside table. An additional bed can be put in Bedroom 1 to sleep a child or there is space for your own travel cot.
The Apartment also has a new bathroom with separate toilet and a new kitchen with a dishwasher, washing machine, fridge, cooker, hob and microwave.
Looe is built around an estuary which leads to the sea and most of the properties in West Looe are built on the hillside. The access to St Crispin is up a zig-zag slope from the road which leads round to steps at the back of the apartment to the main entrance. There are also steps up to Hannafore Lane which runs along the back of the house. Unfortunately we don't have parking at the property, but there is free on street parking available on Hannafore Point or the Mill Pool Car Park is £30 a week (via RingGo) - both are a 5 min walk along the harbour. You can stop close to the property to unload/load. The Looe train station links you to the mainline station at Liskeard giving you direct access to the main Cornwall and Devon towns like Truro, Plymouth, Falmouth and Penzance; plus there are local buses to the surrounding villages and towns.
Many of the boats in the harbour are working fishing vessels which you can take a trip on for a few hours or the Glass Bottom takes you around Looe Island to see the underwater world.
St Georges Island or 'Looe Island' is a Nature Sanctuary run by Cornwall Wildlife Trust which can be visited in the summer months by boat from the Harbour.
