We spent 6 days in Stowe during the 2012 march break. This location is excellent. It is clean, very well furnished and the beds are very comfortable. EVERYTHING is in perfect order and there is plenty of fire wood. Over the years, we have rented numerous times if many locations. In Quebec, in Italy and in the US. This property ranks in the top 2! Brooks, you delivered everything promised! Even the snow... Until next time...

Our family had a wonderful stay at this condo in Stowe. It was very clean, well organized and accessible to the mountain for skiing and to the many excellent restaurants and shops in Stowe Village. The view of Mount Mansfield from the condo was beautiful, too. The owner was a pleasure to deal with and went out of his way to help with restaurant recommendations, etc.

Clean, Well-Equipped Rental in a Great Location

The owner keeps this unit immaculate and well-stocked so all you need is some time and some food. The location is excellent with access to trail systems including the famous Stowe town bike path. Comfortable for up to 4 - 6 with excellent views down the valley of Mt. Mansfield and surrounding mountains. We all agreed we will rent again.

As a family of 4 ,we spent 5 wonderful days in this condo enjoying the view, the outdoors activities(hiking,crosscountry ski ,down hill ski) all nearby,and the warmth of the well equiped and cozy condo to come back at night(either in the jacuzzi or around the fire place).Most of all we appreciated the attentiveness of the owner, all his recommendations and descriptions were accurate.

My husband and I had a wonderful time in Vermont. The condo was fantastic and we looked forward every morning to the beautiful mountain view!! The location was superb directly next to the recreational path and close enough to the center of town. The owner of the condo, Brooks, was extremely helpful with all of his suggestions for things to do and places to eat in his emails. I loved my stay at this condo during the fall foliage. The view of Mt. Mansfield was breath taking from the patio doors. This condo really lived up to the pictures on the website. It had been recently upgraded with new kitchen cabinets, new countertops in the kitchen and bathrooms and new wood flooring. The owner emailed me wonderful facts and tips for the area in Stowe. Especially handy was being able to walk out the front door of the condo and be so close to walking and hiking paths.

As a family of four from Australia (with 6 year old twins) this was the perfect accommodation to experience the New England Fall. It really felt like a "home away from home" and the condo was very well appointed and spotless. Thanks Brooks for all your help and suggestions - your restaurant reviews were spot on! Stowe and the surrounding area has a lot to offer and we easily filled our time in exploring the local area. We would fully recommend staying here.

A Beautiful Home with Breathtaking Views

Our family of four (2 kids ages 8 and 12) had a wonderful first time experience in Stowe and staying at their home. Everything was exactly as described and it was a beautiful home. There were so many extra things that made it such a special home along with lots of instructions on how to work appliances, lights etc. We were right along the rec path which was such a convenient location to bike to shops, restaurants, and activities (like putt putt golf). It was in a private and quiet location. The view from their home was breathtaking and we loved eating outside or just sitting out there and soaking in the view. We really got to experience the many moods of Mansfield! Having never been to Stowe before, we were so appreciative of the time taken by the owners to share anything and everything with us to help us get acquainted with Stowe. They had such great suggestions on restaurants, hiking trails, a bike store and on and on. Getting oriented to Stowe ahead of time really made our stay so much more enjoyable. It is so nice to get to work with someone who truly loves the place to which you will be visiting. We will highly recommend their home to anyone we know who will be visiting Stowe. We were very sad to see our stay come to an end and really hope to make it back very soon ourselves.

Great condo in excellent condition! The view from the rear deck is amazing - meadows and mountains. Very comfortable. The nearby Stowe recreation path is great for bike riding and walking. Great restaurants. We have rented this unit 3 years in a row in the summer. The owner is very accomodating; We would recommend to anybody!

Fantastic relaxing getaway spot - great for couples or families

My family of four (kids ages 4 and 7, younger boy, older girl) loved our trip to Stowe. The condo location is ideal -- walking distance to many fun, delicious restaurants, a short drive to downtown, and a short drive to lots to do should you be so inclined. We enjoyed the relaxing atmosphere, all the amenities, the fabulous view, the helpful owner recommendations, and lovely weather. Our kids enjoyed all the outdoor activities, and became superhikers. We like to joke that we ate & hiked our way through Vermont! The condo is a great fit for a family or two couples, and has everything you need should you wish to dine in or explore Stowe. I enjoyed having my morning coffee while reading on the upper deck, and the kids enjoyed playing outside around the immense property. Thank you Brooks for all your helpful advice -- I think we nearly covered everything, but did leave a bit for a return visit :-).

Skiing vacation

We stayed 5 days with 4 people at this marvelous premise during winter 2011 and enjoyed a fully equipped and nicely decorated home. Everything was in good condition and we loved the fireplace as well as the spectacular view. Good restaurants are available nearby.

My wife, father in law and 8 month old had a great visit to Stowe. This condo however took it over the top. The views are awesome and layout great. The owner takes pride in it so everything you need is there whether in the kitchen or in front of the burning fireplace looking over the mountain. I will say, the weather was freezing so no better place to be holed up than there.

My stay at the property was wonderful! The townhouse was gorgeous. The listing description was accurate regarding the location. It was close to the mountain and restaurants. The listing photos accurately reflected the property. Everything in the townhouse was modern and worked properly. It was very well maintained and clean. The instructions that I received prior to my trip as well as the instructions that were left at the property provided detailed information in regards to the surrounding area and operation of all amenities. Plenty of firewood was provided for the fabulous fireplace. The owner personally called me prior to my stay to answer my questions. He also called me subsequent to my stay to make certain the place was up to my expectations. It was! He was very helpful and nice. I would definitely recommend this place to my family and friends. I will definitely stay at this location again. It was modern, comfortable, cozy and the location was great. My friends and I had a fabulous time and you will too if you stay here. One night we didn't even go out....we stayed at the townhouse and made a great dinner, had some great wine and built a fire....great time!

Fantastic vacation condo

The condo was fantastic. Close to town and the mountain but away from the hustle and bustle of the mountain road. The view across the fields to the mountain was breathtaking. We had everything we needed for a great ski vacation.

Wonderful place

Our family of four (two kids, two adults) spent a week at the condo. We absolutely loved it and hope to come back soon. There was simply nothing missing. The towels and sheets were soft, the beds were comfy, the kitchen well stocked. There was even a Belgian Waffle-maker which we made good use of!!! Extremely well-maintained, we felt right at home. A couple of minutes off Mountain Road, we arrived at the mountain for skiing in no time. The owner was extremely attentive and provided great tips regarding the area. Definitely would recommend.

I recently stayed at the Stonybrook 6 condo in Stowe and had a fabulous time! The condo was a perfect fit and vary spacious for two couples - we could have easily invited 2 more people to stay! It would also be a great fit for families. The condo is beautiful, new and perfectly situated between the town and Stowe mountain. The owner was very helpful and accomodating with restaurant recommendations, directions etc. I would definitely stay here again!

Great Condo Rental

We rented this unit for Thanksgiving and were very happy with our stay. The condo is very well appointed, with a wonderful kitchen, fireplace, bedrooms and more. Everything is very well organized, with superb instructions/information from the owners. The location - and the view - is truly spectacular. My family (my husband, our 2 boys ages 5 and 7 and my mom) stayed here the first week in Sept. We had such a nice time. The place was very comfortable with plenty of room for all of us. The kitchen had everything we needed, the beds were comfortable and the place was very nicely furnished. My kids loved playing outside on the beautful grounds. It was very quiet and serene. We really enjoyed sitting on the back deck. Just beyond the deck in the back is a split rail fence surrounding a beautful field with a gorgeous view of Mt. Mansfield. There is so much to do in Stowe for both adults and kids. Since we had such great weather, we spent all of our time outdoors. We went on several hikes, went biking on the recreation path which runs right past the condo, took the gondola to the top of the mountain and had alot of fun doing the activities at the mountain. We swam in the pool daily and used the hot tub. The owner was so great to work with. He was very pleasant and gave us alot of information on things to do in the area. It was obvious how much he loves Stowe and he was determined for us to have a great time. He even hand drew us a map of hiking trails that were accessible directly from the condo! I highly recommend this place. We hope to go back soon!

We Had A Wonderful Time!

We had a wonderful time vacationing in Stowe this summer while staying at this lovely Stonybrook condo. The condo is neat and updated with a spacious floor plan, but also cozy with its rustic stone fireplace. There is a huge outdoor deck with mountain view in the distance, and a large open grassy back yard wth plenty of room for the kids to run and play. We rode bikes daily as the condo is located right off the scenic recreational bike path. Other Stowe attractions are in close proximity. The owner was more than helpful with providing us with resources for area attractions. We will surely be back! Jennifer, Massachusetts

Luxury Stowe condo

My husband and I stayed at this magnificent condo with breathtaking views this past August. The unit was spotless and very tastefully decorated. Everything seems brand new. Very convenient location. The large patio and most windows face the most scenic view, especially since this unit is located in the front row. We had a great vacation there and can't wait to go back.

We are a French couple living in Rhode Islands for a few years, and were looking for a nice place to stay for a holidays with our 25 YO son and his girlfriend. We have been more than greatly satisfied about everything concerning this rental. The very warm and helpful landlord helped us for everything, made everything easy, not only for the contract, but for everything, providing informations for many things, such as places of interest to visit, restaurants, bicycle rentals, trails for hiking, museum ... The condo is very very clean, confortable and cosy, the decoration is great, amenities of high quality ... he also provided the barbecue (maybe the only thing missing before we came !) the view is fantastic, and we enjoyed almost everyday dinner on the terrace with the barbecue. Stowes is a very very nice village with historic houses, many beautiful shops - souvenirs and cafes and restaurants. We also like the grocery (the owner is very nice and helpful !) with good organic food and ... a very good bread (we bought a lot before leaving - French like good bread ! for freezing !) For sure, we would recommend this rental to friends and relatives, and would be very happy to come again ! Our Home Away From Home...

This condo at Stoneybrook was the most wonderful winter home you could ask for the past two years. Weekends were spent skiing as well as snowshoeing and cross-country skiing right out the back door, making great fires in the den with views of Mansfield, and enjoying the nearby restaurants. The owners couldn't be more accommodating and the condo is immaculate! We will be back!

Everything was wonderful! The place was beautiful and we really enjoyed ourselves and had time to relax! We all slept very comfortably. The meadow off the living room gave us a wonderful view and the boys loved playing around outside with a soccer ball we brought. We took your suggestion on Gracie's and loved it. We tried Pie in the Sky, only because they had clam pizza, and my husband grew up on Pepi's Pizza in New Haven CT. McCarthy's was a nice choice for lunch too! We HAD to go to the Stowe Cinema on Sunday to see the new Madagescar movie. For a moment, we felt like locals! Thank you again for being such a great host. We hope to get back up again next year!
