Las Terrazas is a complex of four private casas cascading down a hillside of bougainvillea, lilies, and vines. Ferns and massive philodrendrons fill the grotto and the sound of fountains is heard throughout. The property overlooks the old colonial town of San Miguel de Allende. It is located an easy five minute stroll down cobblestone streets to the Jardin which is the town center. (You can walk home or a taxi is $2.00 from anywhere in town.)
Each casa is very comfortably and attractively furnished and has a full kitchen. Each has an outdoor patio that is completely secluded. Upon arrival in your casa fresh flowers and a chilled bottle of wine await you. Your privacy is assured during your stay, but the owners live on site to assist you in any way they can.
Each home has cable television (CNN, NBC, CBS and ABC channels) and all local Spanish channels. An ultraviolet light and carbon filter system provides purified water for the compound. Wireless internet service is available throughout the property. Maid service is provided twice each week. CASITA COLIBRI is a large open plan studio with queen bed, full bath with shower over a tiled tub, galley kitchenette, and a private deck with fountain, views of downtown San Miguel and the valley and Sierra Madre mountains beyond. $120.00 per night (3 night minimum stay) $840.00 per week. CASA AGUILA is on the top terrace of Las Terrazas. It is a two bedroom, two and a half bath home with spectacular views of downtown San Miguel and the surrounding mountains.
