This is one of those places that you'd like to keep secret because it is such a gem, but that wouldn't be fair to other Bartlett vacationers or our wonderful hosts, George & Patti. Within 5 minutes of walking in, we knew we wanted to book our next visit. The house is meticulously clean, very comfortable and has a nice flow between the rooms. It is obvious that much thought was put into the design, decoration and maintenance of the house. We felt totally at home, and can't stop talking about what the perfect place it was for us. The location is also great: close to ski areas, restaurants and other attractions. We visited in the winter, but would come back any season. Thank you, George & Patti!

Fantastic vacation home!

This is simply a fantastic vacation rental! We had rented several other places in the White Mountains over the years, but this is our absolute favorite. The home is beautiful, spacious and well maintained. It is great having a full size washer and dryer to freshen those ski clothes, and plenty of room in the basement to hang them if you prefer drying or airing them out like that. The large kitchen was thoroughly stocked with many staples and extras we expected to have to buy once on location, like paper towels and kitchen spices, etc. and was also supplied with plenty of cookware and a gas grill on the deck. If you like to cook a few meals instead of going out every night, this home is ready for you. George and Patti could not have been more gracious and attentive, and are a true pleasure to rent from. We hope to find another week next year when we can escape to their beautiful place! Most highly recommended!

Storyland Trip

Just took our 3 year old to Storyland last weekend and stayed here. The house is beautiful, comfortable, has everything including wireless Internet, Cable, full kitchen, nice yard for kids games and exploring. Perfect location to all the fun places in North Conway, NH. We even saw a moose on Rt 302!! My son wants to get a house just like it, "with all the cool bear decorations and pretty flowers" :) Thanks Patti and George!!

My mother and 3 sisters have stayed at this log cabin for the past 2 years and have already reserved it for next year. With all its personal touches, it is cozy,spacious and relaxing. It has everything you need for a great vacation-Surrounded by the White mountains, great hospitality by Patti and George, a beautiful home! Highly recommended.

Just completed a 2-week stay here, after spending a week at the house in August 2007. Wonderful, cozy, home with plenty to do around the local towns. Was cozy enough to feel comfortable spending a rainy day inside. Looking forward to another stay here next year!

This was our second great weekend at this adorable, cozy & comfy log cabin. As a child I spent a lot of time in North Conway with my family. We invited my mom & dad to join us at the log cabin and now I have great memories with my family and Grandma & Grandpa! We've rented many houses over the years and this one is the best! great location, very comfortable, nicely decorated, everything you need is at the house!

This is our second winter stay at this log home. Coming from Cape Cod and staying in this beautiful home has truly put us in touch with the mountains. We feel at home and comfortable in this special atmosphere which without a doubt meets all our day to day expectations and needs. It is our plan to return to this log home for many more stays.

WELL, OUR SECOND TRIP TO THE LOG HOME FROM FAR AWAY SCOTLAND AND WE ARE ITS BIGGEST FANS, WE HAVE HIGH EXPECTATIONS BUT THE LOG HOME IS WONDERFUL!! WITH SNOW A WINTER WONDERLAND...REALLY BEAUTIFUL AND WELL WORTH THE TRIP FROM SO FAR. GEORGE AND PATTI ARE LOVELY TOO.sOME REALLY GOOD RESTAURANTS NEAR,great skiing and really good shopping.
