This NEWLY REMODELED ground-level, two bedroom, two bath Condominium (1300 square feet with attached garage) has gorgeous views of the Santa Rosa Mountains from the bedrooms and patio, as well as being right on the lake in the Palmer private area of PGA West. As of October 2009, both bathrooms and kitchen have been gutted and completely re-modeled. The result is amazing. In the kitchen: high end, quality cabinetry, Kitchen Aid appliances, granite counter tops, Delta faucet and farm sink. In the bathrooms: travertine floors, travertine showers with multi-function Delta shower heads, frame-less glass enclosures (doors), granite counter tops with Delta faucets. PGA West has free public Wi-Fi. The master bedroom has a king-size bed and the guest bedroom has two twin beds that can be put together to form another king. Thus, the unit sleeps four adults very comfortably. This is an end unit, and the pool is literally right outside your door. Ultra-peaceful unit with a gas grill on patio. Imagine sitting on the patio, entertaining friends with the stunning views and surroundings. The patio is surrounded by a nice sized grassy area and beautiful water falls and palm trees. PGA West "The Western Home of Golf in America," has three of its six golf courses available to visitors. Additionally, you are minutes away from the Indian Wells Tennis Garden, home of the Pacific Life Open with 20 courts to play on. For the equestrian enthusiast the Polo Club is down the street as well as the grounds that host the Indio Horse Show and Grand Prix - one of the largest hunter jumper shows on the West Coast, running for two and a half months!
For shopping, Old Town La Quinta and La Quinta in general is growing every day with wonderful new shops. Additionally, within close proximity is El Paseo "the Rodeo Drive of the Desert" - in Palm Desert (15-20 minutes). Quality shopping in the many local malls and a huge street fair every weekend in Palm Desert also provide possibilities.
As for restaurants, there is no place better to be than in the desert. La Quinta, Palm Desert, etc., the restaurant possibilities are endless. Old Town La Quinta (one mile away) is home to many great restaurants including Arnold Palmer's. Travel up to road five to ten minutes and you are surrounded by world class cuisine - just take your pick.
