New York City is fantastic in winter: on a crisp, clear, sunny day you can ice skate at Rockefeller Center, or, sit inside, and watch the skaters through full glass while dining inside. Visit Top of the Rock, and enjoy a panoramic view of NYC, including all of Central Park. Hop on board the Circle Line and see the city from the Hudson and East Rivers. Visit the Museum of Modern Art, and walk around the Jacqueline Kennedy Onassis reservoir in Central Park. Most of all, enjoy the beautiful, unobstructed view from this beautiful apartment, as described below.

Located adjacent to Times Square and the Theater District, this is a dramatic high floor apartment in the center of New York City, with south, east, and west exposures. The views of the Empire State Building, the Statue of Liberty, and the Hudson River are unsurpassed, and the location, central to every transportation line in New York City, could not be better. This one bedroom apartment features a designer kitchen, one limestone bath, hardwood floors, and loft like ceilings. The apartment has been customized to the highest standards. There is new overhead lighting, operated on dimmers. All floor-to-ceiling windows have custom window treatments. The walk-in closet and the extra large entry closet have been fitted with shelves, drawers, and hanging racks. There is one queen-size bed, two flat screen TVs, and a BOSE stereo/radio. There is also a high quality washer/dryer in the unit.

Nearby attractions include Central Park, Fifth Avenue and Madison Avenue shopping, Rockefeller Center, and all Broadway theaters are within a ten minute walk. There is an abundance of neighborhood restaurants at all price levels, and the convenience of supermarkets, coffee shops, and diners within a few blocks.

This unit offers guests New York City living at its finest. The sunsets over the Hudson River and the majesty of the cruise ships sailing in and out of New York Harbor cannot be equaled. The skyline at night is breathtaking, with the colorful lights on the Empire State building, and the twinkling of the lights throughout the city. You have the nicest VRBO ap’t we have enjoyed, and as we told you, we have used VRBO in Florida, California, Paris, and 2 previous times in New York City. Yours is by far the best. The owner was fabulous and makes you feel at home and welcome instead of another room number as a hotel guest. The apartment is spotless from top to bottom, with great amenities. Our host gave us a great orientation of the city and our bearings on where we were heading right out of the 41st floor to ceiling windows! We were a two min. walk from the subway, a five min. walk to GREAT restaurants and entertainment including the theatres. Not to mention if you have not seen Times Square thats only 4-5 min. away also. We ate in the apartment a couple of times, with this view and fresh markets within walking distance you should really work this into your stay. We will stay here each time we visit NYC without a doubt, and look forward to our next visit in December!

  • All we can do is reiterate what other guests have said. We cannot imagine a better place to stay in NYC!! The owner has thought of absolutely everything. The apartment is extremely clean, very comfortably furnished and, of course, the views are to die for. The location is perfect - we walked only three blocks to take the subway to the US Open, walked to the theatre, and visited the wonderful restaurants on 46th street. My wife and I booked based on the reviews and the photos, which cannot capture the beauty of this apartment. The windows (almost floor to ceiling), the furnishings, the very comfortable bed, the walk-in closet…very nicely equipped for cooking. What can I say? Staying here has been a wonderful experience.
