Ski out the back door, ski in the front door! Just a few steps out the back door, through an open yard also known as the "snowball zone", and you're skiing down the Yellow Brick Road to the Village and the new high-speed 6-person chair lift.
After skiing, warm up and relax in the comfortable family room with wood burning fireplace and large windows overlooking Durango Mountain Resort and the beautiful San Juan Mountain Range. This unique 3 level, end unit condo is located at the highest point of the condominium unit and is approx 2000 square feet.
The master bedroom, located on the top level, has a king bed and full bath. The kitchen, dining area, family room, private south-facing patio and ski out doorway are also located on the top level. The second level has 2 bedrooms and a full bathroom. One bedroom features a queen bed, the other has two twin bunk beds that sleep four. The first level has a single bedroom with a queen bed and a half bath.
New 42" plasma TV in the family room. New washer, dryer and dishwasher. All linens, towels, dishes and kitchen utensils are provided. Boot dryer! One car carport and space for an additional vehicle.
The condo is just off the "Lower Hades" and "Yellow Brick Road" runs. There’s a sledding hill just outside the door and sleds are provided. Durango Mountain Resort is located in the San Juan National Forest. Elevation: 9000 feet Average annual snowfall: 260 inches!

Our family of four enjoyed a wonderful stay at this home during Christmas week this year. The house is very warm and comfortable. The fireplace is fantastic. The furnishings and amenities are second to none. A great place for a family vacation.

This condo was a great place to stay for our skiing vacation. It had plenty of space, great furniture setup, and everything we needed to make our stay easy and pleasant. The rental process was simple, and the owner was very friendly. We had two children in the group (2.5 and 5 yrs old) and the condo was great for them as well. The location is convenient for those that wanted to ski. And those that didn't ski had fun playing out in the snow with sleds. I would definitely look this place up again if/when we vacation at Durango Mountain Resort in the future.
Recommended for:Girls getaway, families with teenagers, romantic getaway, adventure seekers, families with young children, sightseeing.

This is a beautiful home, with great views. It is close to all attractions or can be a restful retreat. It is a great place to use as a vacation for a family.
