This 4000 sq. ft. beautiful Maine lodge, built in 1936, is located on a quiet cove, on pristine Echo Lake in Fayette. A place to leave the hectic world behind yet is just 15 miles from the city of Augusta.
With 7 bedrooms/5 full baths, this lodge is a great place for family reunions. The updated, well equipped kitchen includes a 6 burner gas range, 2 refrigerators, griddle, convection oven, ice maker, and microwave. The spacious dining room has a view of the lake and a field stone fireplace. The newly completed deck with picnic tables has a large stainless steel gas grill. The living room has comfortable furniture, books, a field stone gas fireplace, and 2 half baths for your convenience. A large screened porch, with rocking chairs, overlooks the lake.
A gradual sandy beach area is excellent for swimming, and can also be used to launch your own boat. A public launch is just a few miles away as well. A swim float is just off the beach area, and two docks are located along the shore for fishing or tying up your boat. A stone fire pit, firewood included, is available for your nightly campfires.
